Luigi Mangione executed UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in cold blood as an 'act of war' after the company 'violated' its contract with his mother who suffered years of excruciating pain and expense following a diagnosis of severe neuropathy.
This is the claim made in a document purporting to be Mangione's full manifesto, obtained and shared at length by true crime podcast Hidden True Crime.
Producer Lauren Matthias who runs the popular podcast and YouTube channel with her psychologist husband, Dr. John Matthias, shared the unverified document Tuesday afternoon on YouTube.

I love movies – there’s nothing like them for escapism and entertainment – but Hollywood is something else entirely. It is an orgy or narcissism and rape; casting couch feminists and private jet environmentalists. The extremely wealthy who set up “charities” named after themselves to filter income through to avoid paying the taxes they advocate should be raised on everyone else. They are largely hypocrites and just plain bad people.
They are also destroying themselves, which is something worth noting and celebrating.
Box office numbers and high-profile flops like the Joker sequel (did anyone need or want that?) are some prime examples of just how far down the toilet Hollywood has slipped.

On Tuesday night, President-elect Donald Trump announced a slew of picks of those who will serve in his administration. Many of the names are familiar ones, and their roles are varied in nature.
Included among them is Andrew N. Ferguson, who has been appointed to serve as the next Chair of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
"I am pleased to appoint Andrew N. Ferguson to be the next Chair of the Federal Trade Commission. Andrew has a proven record of standing up to Big Tech censorship, and protecting Freedom of Speech in our Great Country.

Democrats on Capitol Hill are begging President Joe Biden, set to leave office next month, to commute the death sentences of 40 federal inmates, including one of the Boston Marathon bombers, child killers, mass shooters, and those convicted for brutally murdering women.
“Today, on human rights day, we call on President Biden to do the right thing — to use his clemency authority to commute the death sentences of the 40 individuals on death row, to resentence them to a prison term, and to save lives,” Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) said at a press conference.

We're now 41 days away from January 20, with President-elect Donald Trump once more taking office in just over a month. The Biden-Harris administration has caused all kinds of problems at home and on the world stage, in part because it's been so unserious in so many ways. That was perhaps no more on display than with a post over social media from the Department of Health and Human Services, one wishing people a "Happy Pansexual and Panromantic Pride Day!"
The post goes on to add that on such a day, "everyone deserves to feel seen, respected and supported—no matter who they love"

With Donald Trump’s presidential reelection, Democrats are experiencing the stages of grief, which are denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Once they accept reality, Democrats will ask: How to return to power?
If Democrats need to go from here to there, where is here?
Today, the Democrat party fully subscribes to economic Marxism (which is a socialist variant) and cultural Marxism combined with violence (state-inflicted through lawfare and swatting against political opponents plus more generally distributed through organizations such as BLM and Antifa, which riot).
Adolf Hitler claimed, “The whole of National Socialism is rooted in Marxism.” Nazis being quintessential fascists, fascism is the wedding of socialism with violence.

From the start, the Select Committee on January 6 was rocked by problems, with perhaps no other member of that committee in as much trouble as now former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY). There's been chatter about criminal referrals for Cheney for months, especially since she is a former member of Congress, though it also came up once more earlier this week with President-elect Donald Trump weighing in during his "Meet the Press" interview with Kristen Welker. As was also mentioned, President Joe Biden is reportedly considering a preemptive pardon for Cheney and others.

There is a wonderful and salutatory effect to publicly posting a head on a pike for all to see. Now, after the hideous leftist celebration of the murder of that executive from an unpopular industry, it’s necessary – for the benefit of dumb and disingenuous people who will cry about this imagery – to make clear that this is not to be taken literally. It is to be taken figuratively. That is, we in the America First movement must figuratively post the head of at least one hack GOP establishment senator at the summit of Capitol Hill during the 2026 cycle.

Remember when Donald Trump held a big rally at Madison Square Garden, and liberals were so beside themselves that the only criticism they could come up with was that Nazis also had a rally in Madison Square Garden back in 1939, so Trump is literally Hitler? Well, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow may have topped that asinine comparison with a new one, and let's just say that when MSNBC goes under, the liberal host will have no trouble at all finding a new career as a roller coaster designer. I've never seen someone take so many twists and turns to get to a point.

On Monday, a jury found Marine Corps veteran Daniel Penny not guilty of negligent homicide in the Jordan Neely case.
Penny, as RedState readers will recall, put Neely, a mentally ill homeless man with a lengthy criminal history, in a submission hold during a May 2023 subway incident in New York City after Neely reportedly acted aggressively and threateningly towards other passengers.
Neely, who was also restrained by other passengers, was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
It's an understatement to say that Penny's life has been turned upside down since that day, especially after being charged by woke District Attorney Alvin Bragg

Anyone who has voted Republican in more than one election quickly becomes familiar with feeling exasperated. GOP politicians have a history of not handling success well. I can't be precise about how long this has been the case, but this past spring marked my 40th anniversary as a Republican/conservative activist and it's been that way in all that time.
Every once in a while a Republican politician will act like he or she won an election — Ronald Reagan, Newt Gingrich, and President-elect Donald Trump come immediately to mind — but it doesn't happen often enough.
It is both mind-blowing and disheartening to see how the GOP behaves

NBC’s Kristen Welker asked President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday if he still planned to end birthright citizenship. Trump affirmed his plans. But the way Welker deliberately misrepresented the amendment reveals not only a glaring need for clarification from Congress or the Supreme Court about whether children born to illegal aliens are citizens but the dangers of a press who are willing to craft law by word of mouth.
“You promised to end birthright citizenship on day one,” Welker said. “Is that still your plan?”

Speaking in an interview with leftist hack Kristen Welker, Trump made it clear that his decision to reject the presidential salary is not driven by financial need, but by a desire to lead by example and reduce government expenditure.

One of the most controversial proposals from Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is gaining support as he and lawmakers look to cut costs.
President-elect Donald Trump has tapped the Tesla CEO and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy to cut trillions of dollars in federal spending as the U.S. national debt continues to balloon to staggering new highs inflated by runaway expenditures over the few last decades.
As it stands, that debt totals $36.2 trillion dollars, but Musk estimates that DOGE could cut 'at least $2 trillion' from the current White House's $6.5 trillion budget in the near term.

The House Assassination task force released its final and longawait report on Tuesday.
The 180-page report claims the deadly shooting at Donald Trump's Butler, Pennsylvania, rally on July 13 was 'preventable and should not have happened.'
It was released just days after its final public meeting last week where Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe got into a screaming match with Rep. Pat Fallon (R-Texas). Rowe did acknowledge at the hearing the agency's 'abject failure' in the July shooting.
The 13-member panel was created by a House vote shortly after the first assassination attempt over the summer.

The proposals include freezing the case until Trump is out of office, or agreeing that any future sentence wouldn’t include jail time. Another idea:

The FBI has been investigating reports about several mysterious nighttime drone flights that started occurring last month across central New Jersey and has asked the public for help. Since then, residents have reported seeing drones in other areas.

It's easy to look at the rapid fall of Syria's odious Assad regime and conclude that its dynastic ruler, Bashar al-Assad — flying off to safety in Moscow while Turkish rebels stormed his palace and freed his political prisoners — was the big loser. It would be easy, and it would be wrong. Before we get to the big losers, the big winner (as I wrote last week) could prove to be Turkey's Recep Erdoğan. The HTS rebels who stormed Damascus on Saturday are designated as a terrorist group by Ankara, but Erdoğan has also given them unofficial support.

Catholics and Biblical scholars alike have been calling foul on recent attempts by supporters of Hamas to portray Jesus Christ as a "Palestinian." The historically incorrect narrative has been pushed by Muslims and other anti-Israel voices, who have sought to claim Jesus as their own in order to bolster support for the "from the river to the sea" destruction of the state of Israel. Sadly, it seems that the pro-Hamas cabal has found a kindred spirit in the leader of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis.

“Our family is shocked and devastated by Luigi’s arrest,” the family said in a statement shared by his cousin Nino Mangione, a Republican Baltimore County delegate, late Monday.
“We offer our prayers to the family of Brian Thompson and we ask people to pray for all involved. We are devastated by this news,” the Mangione family said.

Illegal immigration, it’s clear, was one of the key factors in Donald Trump’s sweeping win over Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election. Americans expect action from the White House, including using the military to deport those who are here illegally, according to the latest I&I/TIPP Poll data.
Some 1,411 adult voters were asked the following question: “How important is it for Trump to quickly find and deport illegal immigrants with criminal records?” Possible responses included “very important,” “somewhat important,” “not very important,” “not at all important,” and “not sure.
The national online poll, taken from Nov. 27-29, has a margin of error of +/-2.6 percentage points.

It’s Tuesday, December 10. This is The Front Page, your daily window into the world of The Free Press—and our take on the world at large. Coming up: Assad’s fall exposes Washington’s delusions, Norway’s crippling assault on free enterprise, the disaster that is “multilevel classrooms,” and more.
But first: Daniel Penny walked out of court a free man. But why was he ever prosecuted?
It’s been 19 months since Daniel Penny entered a New York City subway car as a college student and exited as a homicide suspect. But yesterday, a Manhattan jury acquitted him.

Members of the special committee that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol are hitting back at President-elect Trump after he called for their imprisonment, saying the criminal conduct surrounding the rampage was committed by Trump and his supporters, not those who probed the tragedy afterwards.
The lawmakers on the now-defunct panel, which featured members of both parties, maintain that Trump’s threat to prosecute them puts him in league with tyrants who break laws with impunity and punish anyone who seeks to hold them to account.

RJ Martin lived with the murder defendant for six months at a Hawaii co-living space and told The New York Times about 26 year-old Mangione's secret agony.

FBI Director Christopher Wray is preparing to resign as President Trump moves forward with nominee Kash Patel.
Republican Senator Chuck Grassley (IA) sent Christopher Wray a blistering letter on Monday and told him and his deputy Paul Abbate to step down for the good of the country.
“For the good of the country, it’s time for you and your deputy to move on to the next chapter in your lives,” Mr. Grassley wrote in the letter to Wray, according to The Washington Times. “I therefore must express my vote of no confidence in your continued leadership of the FBI.”

A jury found Daniel Penny innocent of Alvin Bragg’s ridiculous charges related to subduing a homeless man who threatened passengers in a subway car. The exoneration demolished a media narrative that Penny was a white supremacist stalking black men.
AP said, “A Marine veteran who used a chokehold on an agitated subway rider was acquitted on Monday in a death that became a prism for differing views about public safety, valor and vigilantism.”
Penny held the man, Jordan Neely, until authorities could take him into custody. A drug called K2 likely killed him.
AP quoted Andre Zachery as “his father,” a man who apparently was never in the Neely’s life.

Ask voters for their one-word description of what they will remember of Joe Biden's presidency and the results are damning: Old, inflation, falling.
Yet Biden will take the stage in Washington on Tuesday to try to cement his legacy as the leader who rebuilt the economy after the pandemic
The White House is billing the event as 'remarks on his middle-out, bottom-up economic playbook at the Brookings Institution.' But our latest survey of voter attitudes with J.L. Partners show the 82-year-old will mostly be remembered for crippling inflation and his own personal frailties, even by his supporters.

A whistle-blower told [ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim] Khan that he knew about the sexual misconduct and Khan responded in apparent shock that he, Khan, was "finished and will need to resign." Instead of resigning, however, he reportedly threatened both the whistleblower and the victim to not press the matter further. And then he decided to announce the application for arrest warrants....
Why, by the way, did both Khan and ICC President Piotr Hofmanski meet with Qatar's ambassador to the Netherlands last year? Surely Qatar had nothing to do with influencing the decision to issue the arrest warrants?

Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, indicated she will confirm Pete Hegseth as the next secretary of defense on Monday. The announcement marks a stark pivot for Ernst, who has been leading a behind-the-scenes effort to tank Hegseth’s nomination.
“I appreciate Pete Hegseth’s responsiveness and respect for the process,” Ernst said in a press release. “Following our encouraging conversations, Pete committed to completing a full audit of the Pentagon and selecting a senior official who will uphold the roles and value of our servicemen and women — based on quality and standards, not quotas — and who will prioritize and strengthen my work to prevent sexual assault within the ranks.

manifesto recovered from the alleged shooter of UnitedHeathCare CEO Brian Thompson says that “These parasites had it coming” and “I do apologize for any strife and trauma, but it had to be done.”
This is music to the ears of many on the left, who cheered when they learned that Thompson had been gunned down and are treating the shooter as some sort of folk hero.
“Social media users have sometimes outright gloated at the killing,” is how The Hill put it, describing it as an expression of “populist rage” and then spending the rest of the article trying to obliquely pin the blame on Donald Trump.

The appointment means Schiff, who has served in the House since 2001 and won election to the Senate last month, will begin work in the upper chamber several weeks before the start of the next Congress in early January. Butler replaced the late Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D) in October 2023 and said she would not run for a full term, opening the race up to Schiff and others.

Scott Jennings, the lone conservative voice on CNN, recently commented on Trump’s interview with Kristin Welker and his appearance on the world stage over the last week.
Jennings notes that it feels to many people like Trump is already president because the country has been longing for strong leadership and that even the international community is responding to Trump’s presence.
He correctly suggests that the country and the world have already moved on from Joe Biden.

The reopening of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris also marked the de facto coming out of Donald Trump as leader of the free world.
His overbearing handshake with French President Emmanuel Macron sent a powerful message to the rest of the world. America is back, whether they like it or not.
As Trump is feted by world leaders and royalty in Paris, holds preliminary peace talks with Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky and sends his envoy to the Middle East, the inauguration next month seems like a mere formality. Joe Biden is a pitiful afterthought in history.

FBI Director Christopher Wray plans to resign on or before Inauguration Day, according to recent reports. The move, widely seen as preemptive, reflects growing pressure from Republican lawmakers, led by Senator Charles Grassley, and signals yet another shift in leadership for an agency that has been at the center of political and institutional controversies over the past several years.
While Wray’s resignation isn’t entirely unexpected, it raises important questions about the future of the FBI, the challenges it faces, and the public’s trust in one of the nation’s most powerful institutions. This moment offers an opportunity to reflect on Wray’s tenure,

Making fun of Pravda media "fact checks" is, perhaps, a little too easy at times.
But doing so is a good reminder of just how distorted their worldview is. Without being reminded, we might fall into the bad habit of taking these people more seriously than they deserve. The Politifact "fact check" on conservative complaints (I'm pretty sure that the complaints are more "common sense" than conservative) that aid to Africa has nothing to do with aid to North Carolina is a perfect example of how the government hypnotized think.

Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff has a reputation as a progressive, San Francisco billionaire one that he has earned by being pretty reliably left-wing on social issues. So some people are surprised by how positive he has been about the incoming Trump administration. For instance: There are other signs that, like the rest of the country, Benioff is moving right:
Amid dozens of posts about Salesforce’s new Agentforce platform, Benioff has positioned himself and his interests within the MAGA orbit, praising President-elect Donald Trump’s associates like Musk and Marc Andreessen, and touting Lex Fridman’s interview with Argentinian president Javier Milei
