Muslims Applaud As Pope Francis Unveils
Pro-Hamas Christmas Nativity Crèche at Vatican

Catholics and Biblical scholars alike have been calling foul on recent attempts by supporters of Hamas to portray Jesus Christ as a "Palestinian." The historically incorrect narrative has been pushed by Muslims and other anti-Israel voices, who have sought to claim Jesus as their own in order to bolster support for the "from the river to the sea" destruction of the state of Israel. Sadly, it seems that the pro-Hamas cabal has found a kindred spirit in the leader of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis.

This is false based on history. The territory now called Palestine was known as a part of the Levant. The people that call themselves Palestinians were nomadic Arabs that wander their and settled. Before they arrived the are was already inhabited by both Christians and Jews. The term Palestine came into use about World War Two. In the time of Jesus, there was no such thing as a Palestinian. And, most important, Jesus never advocated to exterminate any other people.

A more fitting symbolism would put the intifada pattern on the walls and a hebrew striped linen around Jesus. Kind of like Moses wrapped in a Jewish cloth, in a basket floating on Egypt's river.

President Joe Biden is commuting the sentences of roughly 1,500 people who were released from prison and placed on home confinement during the coronavirus pandemic and is pardoning 39 Americans convicted of nonviolent crimes. It’s the largest single-day act of clemency in modern history. The commutations announced Thursday are for people who have served out home confinement sentences for at least one year after they were released. Prisons were uniquely bad for spreading the virus and some inmates were released in part to stop the spread. At one point, 1 in 5 prisoners had COVID-19, according to a tally kept by The Associated Press.

Climate scientists recently discovered that they’ve been underestimating the impact of a particular organic compound in the atmosphere, and the oversight’s significance is so profound that it’s left existing climate models completely obsolete. As Jo Nova writes, “This is so big, it may change the sacred ‘climate sensitivity’ of the whole Earth”. Isoprene is what’s known as a volatile organic compound, or a VOC, and “has a recognized role in protecting plants against many abiotic stresses” like “heat stress…drought…[and] oxidative stress” with trees being the greatest emitters. (When the chemical isoprene interacts with other compounds in the atmosphere, the products are a number of secondary organic aerosols.)

The Secret Service has taken a lot of heat lately, most particularly since the July 13th attempt on the life of Donald Trump, who is now the president-elect and, in many ways, acting president. A lot of that heat is justified; on July 13th, they only narrowly missed the disgrace of having lost a principal protectee. Former Secret Service agent Richard Staropoli is worried that there will be another attempt on the president-elect — and that it may be one that the Secret Service isn't prepared to counter. As far as Hamas leaders are concerned, the involvement of Iran's other proxies in the Jihad against Israel has been insufficient. Hamas leaders were hoping to see Arab and Muslim armies march on Israel and fulfill their dream of replacing it with a jihadist terror state. They are also aware that Iran wants to use them to expand its control over the Middle East. Iran already occupies three Arab countries – Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen, and until last week, Syria as well – and has brought nothing but death and destruction to the people there.
