Why on earth are we hearing more expressions of empathy for Luigi Mangione, alleged assassin of United Healthcare CEO, Brian Thompson, than for his young children left Fatherless?
The latest news uncovered about Mr. Mangione is that he was not a subscriber to United Healthcare, so he hadn't suffered any personal grievance from the company. What United Healthcare probably represented to the killer is unbridled hatred of giant corporations instilled by Ivy league academics to the vacant minds of privileged students.

If they have any instinct for self-preservation, Iran and Hamas should be monitoring President-elect Donald Trump’s communications very closely these days.
A couple of weeks ago, there was the Truth Social post promising “ALL HELL TO PAY” if Hamas didn’t release its hostages by Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20.
“Those responsible,” Trump noted, “will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America.”
He followed up during a press conference Monday.
When asked what he meant by his prior threat, Trump left it menacingly vague. “Well,” he said, referring to our adversaries, “they’re going to have to determine what that means,

A senior Russian general was killed Tuesday by a bomb hidden in a scooter outside his apartment building in Moscow, a day after Ukraine’s security agency leveled criminal charges against him. A Ukrainian official said the country’s security service carried out the attack.
Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov, the chief of the military’s nuclear, biological and chemical protection forces, was killed as he left for his office. Kirillov’s assistant also died in the bombing, which was triggered remotely, according to Russian news reports. Images from the scene showed shattered windows and scorched and blackened brickwork.

There are growing indications that President Biden is about to fundamentally change the use of presidential pardons by granting “prospective” or “preemptive” pardons to political allies.
Despite repeated denials of President-elect Donald Trump that he is seeking retaliation against opponents and wants “success [to be] my revenge,” Democratic politicians and pundits have called for up to thousands of such pardons.
While there is little threat of any viable prosecution of figures like the members of the House’s Jan. 6 committee, the use of “White Knight pardons” offers obvious political benefits.
After many liberals predicted the imminent collapse of democracy and that opponents would be rounded up by the Trump administration,

Part of Herald Square’s holiday market was left in smoldering ruins Monday when a blaze ripped through several booths, leaving one firefighter seriously injured.
The fire broke out around 4 a.m., igniting a swath of the festive shopping corridor on Broadway between West 35th and West 36th Streets just after 4 a.m., the FDNY said.
Photos from the devastating scene show multiple vendors’ booths reduced to rubble, with only their green awnings lined with garland still intact. One firefighter suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries while battling the flames, and was taken to NYU Langone’s Tisch Hospital, the department said.

President-elect Donald Trump promised to expel migrants to their country of origin by military force — and refused to “do business” with those countries if they refuse to take them in.
“I’ll get them into every country, or we won’t do business with those countries,” Trump, 78, said in a lengthy interview with Time magazine published Thursday after being honored as the outlet’s 2024 “Person of the Year.”
“I want them out, and the countries have got to take them back, and if they don’t take them back, we won’t do business with those countries, and we will tariff those countries very substantially,” he added.

A Texas judge representing a county flipped by Donald Trump in this year's presidential race announced he is leaving the Democratic Party to become a Republican on Tuesday.
Trump, who defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in November, made substantial gains this year in South Texas, home to a high Latino population that has traditionally leaned toward voting Democratic.
Nationwide, he cut into Democrats' margins in several voting groups -- including among Latino, Asian and young voters -- leaving the Democratic Party questioning how it can regain trust from these communities in upcoming elections.

Donald Trump must move hard and fast to get his agenda enacted. He’s going to be opposed not only by the bureaucrats of the Deep State but by, to some extent, the courts, congressional Democrats, and soft Republicans. Fortunately, President Trump, as chief executive – the unitary executive – has tremendous authority. He and his appointees, as well as Republicans in Congress, must use it. They will feel considerable pressure to be soft and weak, not only from the regime media but from the spineless establishmentarians. They must reject it, and fully exercise the power the American people have granted them.

There are lots of mostly bad things that President Joe Biden can justly take credit for, but the fall of Syria is not one of them.
Biden provided Iran with sanctions relief and bailed out Hezbollah just as it was on the verge of defeat. He's trying to take credit for other people's victories while pretending that this was a desired outcome, rather than Turkey taking the initiative and exploiting a weakened Hezbollah. There are lots of mostly bad things that President Joe Biden can justly take credit for, but the fall of Syria is not one of them.

It was a pleasant surprise to find that there are more, smart, educated women than the supposed number of fools that the mainstream media predicted would turn out to vote for Kamala Harris.
Those poor souls are now shaving their heads and denying men sex to punish them for voting for the allegedly misogynous Donald J. Trump. Another group of pathetic females are having themselves sterilized to punish the nonexistent men they believe, plan to impregnate them. The TikTok videos of these narcissistic lemmings screaming in anguish after the election and the GOP’s triumph, would be amusing except for the fact that these are people suffering real pain unnecessarily.

NBC’s Kristen Welker asked President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday if he still planned to end birthright citizenship. Trump affirmed his plans. But the way Welker deliberately misrepresented the amendment reveals not only a glaring need for clarification from Congress or the Supreme Court about whether children born to illegal aliens are citizens but the dangers of a press who are willing to craft law by word of mouth.
“You promised to end birthright citizenship on day one,” Welker said. “Is that still your plan?”

How did violent anti-Israel, pro-Hamas rioters get away with destroying government property, burning American flags and an effigy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and raising a Palestinian flag in place of Old Glory on July 24?
Rep. Bruce Westerman, R-Ariz., asked that at the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations hearing, “Desecrating Old Glory: Investigating How the Pro-Hamas Protests Turned National Park Service Land Into a Violent Disgrace,” on Tuesday.
