Democrats on Capitol Hill are begging President Joe Biden, set to leave office next month, to commute the death sentences of 40 federal inmates, including one of the Boston Marathon bombers, child killers, mass shooters, and those convicted for brutally murdering women. “Today, on human rights day, we call on President Biden to do the right thing — to use his clemency authority to commute the death sentences of the 40 individuals on death row, to resentence them to a prison term, and to save lives,” Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) said at a press conference.

Commuting a death sentence does not save lives. These criminals will die, sooner or later, naturally or forced.

Why these 40, Why not all of them.? I don't know which 40 they are and I am not curious to find out. I suspect they are 40 that are in States that actually carry out the death sentence.. None are in California is my guess, they have over 700 on their death row and all of them are safer there than i am on driving on the Washington beltway.

“The immigration surge of the past few years has been the largest in U.S. history,” the New York Times admitted five weeks after the nation’s voters rejected the Democrats’ wealth-shifting migration policy. ‘Total net migration during the Biden administration is likely to exceed eight million people,” including legal and illegal migrants, said the report by David Leonhardt, “a senior writer … who runs The Morning, our flagship daily newsletter.” He wrote: That’s a faster pace of arrivals than during any other period on record, including the peak years of Ellis Island traffic, when millions of Europeans came to the United States. Even after taking into account today’s

Both Daniel Penny and Luigi Mangione were born in 1998, the year that President Bill Clinton was impeached over the Monica Lewinsky scandal and three years before 9/11. They were raised less than 250 miles apart: Penny on Long Island, and Mangione in Towson, Md., the only sons to loving families. Penny is the middle child of three sisters, and Mangione has two younger sisters. Both grew up into athletic and diligent young men. Mangione’s upbringing was more privileged than Penny’s, and he was more academically successful.

President Trump on Wednesday afternoon ripped into Christopher Wray after he announced his resignation as FBI Director. Chris Wray, who has a record of setting up innocent men in fake kidnapping plots, spying on Catholics at church, raiding the homes of peaceful pro-life activists, terrorizing J6 protesters, and targeting parents at school board meetings, announced he will be resigning in January before Trump fires him. “After weeks of careful thought, I’ve decided the right thing for the bureau is for me to serve until the end of the current administration in January and then step down,” Christopher Wray said Wednesday, according NBC News.

The ringing of the bell in the morning signals the opening of the day’s trading — an honor bestowed in the past on celebrities and US presidents alike — and will coincide with the once and future president being declared Time magazine’s “Person of the Year,” according to reports. The event will undoubtedly have symbolic personal significance for Trump, a native New Yorker and businessman who made his fortune in the city.

The mysterious drones that have been tormenting New Jersey residents for weeks could be part of a top-secret government program, security experts told The Post Tuesday — as lawmakers push for answers over the troubling sightings. The feds have been mum about the daily drone activity in Morris, Passaic, Bergen and Hunterdon counties and beyond since the gizmos were first spotted on Nov. 18. But several experts said the US government might be behind the unsettling flights — which could be part of a super-secret military program meant to test new hardware before it hits the battlefield.

Climate scientists recently discovered that they’ve been underestimating the impact of a particular organic compound in the atmosphere, and the oversight’s significance is so profound that it’s left existing climate models completely obsolete. As Jo Nova writes, “This is so big, it may change the sacred ‘climate sensitivity’ of the whole Earth”. Isoprene is what’s known as a volatile organic compound, or a VOC, and “has a recognized role in protecting plants against many abiotic stresses” like “heat stress…drought…[and] oxidative stress” with trees being the greatest emitters. (When the chemical isoprene interacts with other compounds in the atmosphere, the products are a number of secondary organic aerosols.)

Yup, she’s hitting the Great White Way (or, maybe, in her case, the Great Black Way) to fulfill a childhood dream: taking a turn in a Broadway musical. Interestingly, the particular musical she’s chosen, “& Juliet,” is a tawdry pro-transgender show. I think we can now guess how Jackson will vote on Tennessee’s “no ‘gender-affirming’ care on minors” law.
