“The immigration surge of the past few years has been the largest in U.S. history,” the New York Times admitted five weeks after the nation’s voters rejected the Democrats’ wealth-shifting migration policy.
‘Total net migration during the Biden administration is likely to exceed eight million people,” including legal and illegal migrants, said the report by David Leonhardt, “a senior writer … who runs The Morning, our flagship daily newsletter.” He wrote:
That’s a faster pace of arrivals than during any other period on record, including the peak years of Ellis Island traffic, when millions of Europeans came to the United States. Even after taking into account today’s

Both Daniel Penny and Luigi Mangione were born in 1998, the year that President Bill Clinton was impeached over the Monica Lewinsky scandal and three years before 9/11.
They were raised less than 250 miles apart: Penny on Long Island, and Mangione in Towson, Md., the only sons to loving families.
Penny is the middle child of three sisters, and Mangione has two younger sisters.
Both grew up into athletic and diligent young men.
Mangione’s upbringing was more privileged than Penny’s, and he was more academically successful.

The New York Times’ Book Summit roundtable discussion about the 2024 election was rather lively at times since anti-Trump hysterics did filter through, causing Kellyanne Conway to spar with Sarah Longwell, publisher of The Bulwark, a notorious anti-Trump publication. Longwell went so far as to call Conway and pretty much anyone who supports Trump ‘bad people’ while she peddled the same January 6 stuff that no one cares about—Conway slapped her down, saying she had stage 5 Trump derangement syndrome. President Trump on Wednesday afternoon ripped into Christopher Wray after he announced his resignation as FBI Director.
Chris Wray, who has a record of setting up innocent men in fake kidnapping plots, spying on Catholics at church, raiding the homes of peaceful pro-life activists, terrorizing J6 protesters, and targeting parents at school board meetings, announced he will be resigning in January before Trump fires him.
“After weeks of careful thought, I’ve decided the right thing for the bureau is for me to serve until the end of the current administration in January and then step down,” Christopher Wray said Wednesday, according NBC News.

Former President Bill Clinton said Wednesday on ABC’s “The View” that he was open to discussing a potential preemptive pardon for his wife Hillary Clinton with President Joe Biden.
Co-host Sunny Hostin said, “Do you think it would be wise of President Biden to preemptively pardon any potential targets? What about your wife, Hillary Clinton? She apparently is on Kash Patel’s list.” Clinton said, “They’ve got a problem with her because first, she didn’t do anything wrong. Second, she followed the rules exactly as they were written. Third, Trump’s State Department — Trump’s State Department — found — remember how the emails were such a big issue in 2016?

Jill Biden caught herself during a Wednesday event at the White House after having made an ill-considered reference to the “joy” Americans are now feeling entering the holiday season after the 2024 election, claiming attendees were “reading into” her remarks.
The first lady went on a tangent about the “joy” of the holidays — a buzzword that had defined Vice President Kamala Harris’ short-lived campaign — while speaking at a conference on advancing women’s health research. (Photo) Jill, 73, urged attendees to take note of the White House décor and “feel, I don’t know, a little, a sense of joy. Because I think we all need like this, you know,

The Department of Defense has deepened the mystery over the drones over New Jersey — and poured cold water on a claim that they came from Iran.
Defense officials do not believe the unidentified flying objects are coming from “a foreign entity or adversary,” deputy Pentagon press secretary Sabrina Singh told reporters Wednesday.
“There is no Iranian ship off the coast of the United States, and there’s no so-called mothership launching drones towards the United States.” (Photos) Singh was responding to explosive claims made by Republican New Jersey Rep. Jeff Van Drew earlier Wednesday, who told Fox News that highly-placed sources told him the drones spotted nightly

President-elect Donald Trump is set to ring the bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday morning, a source familiar with the matter told The Post, weeks after his landslide election win fueled by voters’ concerns about the economy.
The ringing of the bell in the morning signals the opening of the day’s trading — an honor bestowed in the past on celebrities and US presidents alike — and will coincide with the once and future president being declared Time magazine’s “Person of the Year,” according to reports.
The event will undoubtedly have symbolic personal significance for Trump, a native New Yorker and businessman who made his fortune in the city.

Never waste an opportunity to trash Donald Trump by dragging him into a story, no matter how tenuously related. That could be Joe Scarborough's motto, given his performance on Tuesday's Morning Joe.
Scarborough managed to exploit the acquittal of Daniel Perry in his New York City trial to suggest that Trump was fairly convicted by a jury there.
He boasted:
"A jury of his peers found him not guilty. A lot of people that were also screaming when a jury of peers found Donald Trump guilty, of course. They [the jurors] were dismissed as hacks. Well, in the same Manhattan jury pool,

The decision is expected to be formally announced on Thursday morning.

Women 'crushed' on Luigi Mangione as he typed away on his laptop at his co-working space in Honolulu, finding him a dreamy blend of looks, brains and charm, according to former fellow members of the facility.
The 26-year-old Ivy League tech grad, charged this week with killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, bore no resemblance to the killer as he rolled in on his bicycle each morning to Hub Co-working Hawaii, a regular there told DailyMail.com.
People there were having a hard time wrapping their heads around the new reality that this affable young man they knew would later carry out the cold-blooded execution 5,000 miles away in midtown Manhattan.

An urgent weather warning has been issued for eight East Coast states with a bomb cyclone expected to unleash hurricane conditions in the region.
Meteorologists predict that states from Maine to New York will see the worst impacts, with dangerous flooding and widespread power outages predicted to start on Wednesday evening.
A bomb cyclone is a meteorological term for a storm between the tropics and polar region that rapidly strengthens over a 24-hour period, often leading to considerable damage.
