could happen

Having served on three Manhattan juries, I would not be surprised if the 12 men and women hearing New York vs. Donald J. Trump acquitted him of all charges.
During two civil actions and one criminal case, my fellow jurors were serious, professional and movingly civic-minded. A quiet, solemn patriotism infused our deliberations. Several jurors said that we should respect the justice system because, someday, we might need it to respect us. (snip) These three cases confirm that Manhattan juries are sober and perfectly capable of fairness.
This is good news for Trump.

I will believe it when I see it. The jury that gave that woman 81 million dollars for rape was certainly not a decent jury
The attorney generals are certainly not honest prosecutors. The judges are clowns .
Perhaps this jury is better. Surprise me.

I'll believe it when I see it. The NYC political class and justice system have done everything it can to select jurors hostile to Trump, and censor exculpatory evidence.
We'll see.

This is not a normal jury. This jury was hand picked to get Trump.

This guy knows far, far more about Manhattan juries, having served on three than this occasional visitor to the city knows.
I hope he's right about Manhattan juries, but I worry that the leftist political views will overrun reason.

Heard the other day that 2 of the jurors are lawyers, which portends they know the law and how it's being applied.
Trump should mention how much it's costing NYC for the security, etc... just to hold him in Court these past 4 weeks.
I would not doubt it's in the multiple millions by now.

I have served on several juries in NY. And the writer is correct. Juries are serious people. HOWEVER, even if this jury believes that Trump is innocent of these charges, if they do not vote to convict him, every single juror's life will be changed forever. These people will be threatened and cancelled, their families will be threatened and cancelled. The scum at MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS all of them will be on these poor people like ants at a picnic. And the justice system is so corrupt, that these jurors will never, ever be protected from this mafia like conduct.
If these people vote to acquit Trump, every single one of them should be given a medal for bravery. I just don't see how they can put themselves and their families in the kind of jeopardy they know will occur should they not convict. For this reason, and this reason alone this is a corrupt, disgusting justice system. And the prosecutors, judges, the NYS and NYC Bar, lawfirms EVERYONE knows this is the case.

The other side of this legal coin is that if the jury convicts Trump, they will have to live with their decision for the rest of their lives - convicting an innocent man because they were too afraid to do otherwise. Conscience is a funny thing, it never goes away.
I hope at least one juror has a conscience.

The jury only decides guilt or innocence and does not determine the amount of the award to the harpies. Soros-paid people like Merchan, the Gargoyle and Alvin Bragg come up with dollar amounts, Soros decides what to pay the AG, judges and jurors. Keep an eye on their bank accounts.

My initial thought is that a hung jury would not be a favorable outcome in the political sense. A hung jury would not change anyone’s mind on whether Donald is guilty or innocent. People might be led to believe he got off on some kind of technicality.
Acquittal or acquittal on appeal would provide total exoneration and might cause more and more pundits and voters to become aware of, and speak out about, the obvious political motivations behind all the other cases being prosecuted against Trump in the run up to the election.

Here's what happened in my jury experiences. One loudmouth successfully intimidated a vong bloc to ignore plain evidence and vote on emotion.
Folks had to be dragged back to factual reality.
Once inertia takes hold in a group of people good luck injecting common sense into the room.

The fix is already in...it was the day these jurors were picked....ole Joe needs to label President Trump a convicted criminal...so he can use it at the debate...as for jail time...let's see what the kabuki judge has in mind behind his rat face....

Given how crooked Bragg and Merchan are, I have NO DOUBT that they have Salted the Jury with Leftist Thugs masquerading as Normal People!

I would be very surprised. This isn't a normal case. It is about Trump personally, not what he did or do not do. And the truth is, most juries convict.
