At a Rose Garden event this week, President Joe Biden bragged that “Thanks to my Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we’re building a network of 500,000 charging stations all across America.”
This is about as believable as the story of his uncle’s cannibalistic demise.
The truth is that Biden’s five-year, $7.5 billion effort to jump-start the development of electric vehicle charging stations is doing the opposite. The money has so far produced only eight new charging stations in two years. The overall growth rate in EV charging stations has slowed since he signed that bill. And earlier this month, Tesla gutted its EV charger efforts,

NOTHING a leftist promises ever happens. That's part of the definition of a leftist.
More money down a rat hole.

Remember when those newfangled horseless carriages first came out and the government spent billions of dollars building gas stations along every road?
Yeah, me neither

Real EV market is restricted to, as such, of virtue signaling for brats of rich, woke Liberals. Under current technology and prices it has little practical value for real people with real needs. My fear is that the current regime will make it difficult and costly to own and operate a gasoline powered vehicle misusing and abusing their power. The damage that will do to the economy, livelihoods and conveniences of ordinary living is immense.

So where did all the 7.5 billion dollars in taxpayers money go? Besides that, the criminal element is reportedly selling the copper wiring out of the EV chargers that are out there, and are selling the copper for three dollars a pound.

How many charging stations have been built for electric semis? Zero. You still plan to go all electric by 2030? If so, you are already late. You will break the supply chain even more than it already is if you continue with this. Trucks are part of the supply chain. How much will it cost? Oh, never mind. You don't have the money anyway. Btw, adding to the debt is not really an option. We are already seeing the consequences of our debt in terms of inflation. Our government does not talk about it, but they are rapidly running out of options with regard what they can do. It has basically run out of money.

Backfire? Not a bit. Billions found their way into numbered overseas accounts of various crooks, who will kick back their 10% for the big guy, so all is just fine as far as Traitor Joe is concerned.
Another successful "government program"......shifting money from the Treasury to the DC Uniparty Criminal Cabal and their supporters.

Wow. Only 499, 992 charging stations to go! Awesome, Joe!!

In the Los Angeles area thieves cut the EV charging cables and steal them for their copper content. As a result, large numbers of charging stations are out of service at any given time.

While The HairSniffer's handlers are doing their best to put America out of business with their war on energy, their war on farmers, and their war on small business, the CHICOMS are putting TWO New Large COAL-fired power plants into service EVERY WEEK!
Oh, and India is right behind them, with NO plans to EVER move away from COAL based electrical generation.

Did all the money get spent?
If so, then the program succeeded in spectacular fashion!
It has transferred $7,500,000,000 from the pockets of the American Taxpayers to the pockets of the Leftist Bureaucrats.
THAT was the purpose.
If a few charging stations were constructed, that is immaterial.

The best place to install charging stations would be at restaurants, including both fast food and sit downs. It takes time to charge a vehicle and I would expect people would rather sit down for a meal on long trip than spend their time wandering around a gas station "convenience" store.

Notice that just about every time Biden publicly speaks he talks about spending either millions or billions of taxpayer’s dollars. Is there any doubt what is causing the national debt to raise and inflation to go up?

Oh, I don't think the plan backfired at all;
I'm willing to bet that 'all the right people' that were supposed to pocket millions and billions in taxpayer money for doing nothing, did so.

The obama/biden cabal had to throw a crumb to china to keep them on their team....if Gordon Chang is right...china is having economy problems and is ready for a major inflation increase...and XI is rattling the war cage to frighten the swamp rats....hence his visit with Putin....
