Climate change has brought the world to the “breaking point,” Pope Francis asserted in his introduction to a 3-day climate summit to be held in the Vatican in May. (snip)
Curiously, Pope Francis has singled out the United States as particularly responsible for the climate “emergency” because of the “irresponsible lifestyle” of its citizens.
(snip) In his introduction to the Vatican summit, which will be held May 15-17, Francis states that climate change is “no longer a secondary or ideological question, but a drama that harms us all,” adding that climate change manifests “a tragic and striking example of structural sin.”

The Pope needs to clean up the corruption in himself and his church, before advising anyone else.

If God has confided this to Pope Francis, that's one thing. If not, then Pope Francis is spreading a new heresy.

Sorry, but the church needs to recall this communist before he completely destroys the Catholic faith. He’s just another Marxist from South America.

What a load of total HOOEY. In my 70+ years on this rock, NOTHING has changed significantly, beyond the ability to grow food increasing MASSIVELY due to technology improvements.
There is NO significant impact of the tiny natural changes that have happened on anyone or anything.
Repeating a lie endlessly does not make it into truth.
There is no serious climate change, NONE, and zero that can be honestly attributed to human activities.
The Communist Pope is a econazi shill, too.

Just how much longer are we going read about this old claptrap about “climate change?” On one hand, certain socialists want millions to die in order for the rest of humanity to live well. On the other hand, we gotta do something before we all die! Which is it going to be?

He has no authority but to guide the Body of Christ and spread the message of Christ's church. He has no expertise in ANYTHING else and maybe not anything at all? Stick with your day job, Francis.

Maybe Pope Frankie needs to start eating from Corningware instead of gold place settings . I think the heavy metals are effecting his ability to think clearly. I've been around long enough to see the church go through lots of issues all man made. Like many others, Frankie is a cafeteria catholic.

As Dennis Prager has pointed out, the left destroys everything it touches. This apparently includes Papal brain cells, and eventually perhaps the Catholic Church as well.

Not from climate change it isn't. and btw, the forecasters are now saying a La Nina is upcoming. IIRC that will be cooling and flooding. No wonder they want to scare us now. the warming scenarios will be completely incredible in a year or two of a deep La Nina.

This man is an embarrassment. He is comparing the immorality of abortion to the immorality of climate change.
Also leveraging climate change as a reason to condemn western societies and transfer wealth from free market democracies to poor corruptocracies like his precious Argentina.
My only comfort is the fact that he revealed himself to be a thoroughly inept thinker and communicator and a contradiction to all of his predecessors, long before stepping on this rake.
Whether he is a fool or a purposeful deceiver is not my problem to figure out.

Misguided or a fool for communist propaganda? Either way, he has wandered far off the plantation. This is not Jesus’s commission for the church. It is to go into the world and preach the gospel to every nation. Focus on that and leave the communist propaganda alone. The Pope like every other human being in this world past, present or future will stand before a Righteous God and give an account for his every word and deed soma change of focus would be advised. Furthermore, this Pope gives off False Prophet vibes like no other which may explain his position on this issue and others.

Yo, Frankie, you worry about the catholics who continue to leave the church because you are stupid and I will continue to enjoy the climate in the United States where your climate guilt trip on the people in an effort to extort money from them is failing miserably. If man wants to change the climate he will have to learn how to change the earth's orbit. Right now he is failing in his attempts to build a good electric car.

Pope Francis, after looking at the splendid display of the Northern Lights - a sight I very seldom see in the south - I was struck by the power of God. I was also struck by how powerful the sun is and how much it affects our climate. My giving up a car, heat, AC, and food is not going to make a dent in the power of the sun. And it's not going to affect the climate.
I'm going to say a rosary for the intention that our next pope have some common sense.

The world is tired of everything causing climate change. The breaking point of most people concerning climate change has already been reached. It's become the equivalent of yelling, "The Sky is Falling". Yes, the climate changes. No, man isn't responsible for it.

When it comes to ranking Pope Pedophile Commie Francis amongst the most evil person to wear the robes of the Pope, Frankie puts the previous most evil Pope, Rodrigo Borgia, to shame. Poop Commie Francis is destroying the Catholic Church just like his Communist Death Democrat brothers in arms, Obama and Pedo Joe Biden are destroying America.

As a lifelong Catholic, I can assure you all that, at least, bears still poop in the woods. Blank Frank and his bishops who refuse to excommunicate the blaspheming pederast Biden will stand neck-deep with him in some really, really warm water one day, if they don't return, soon and shame-faced, to sacred duties having everything to do with abortion, and nothing with the temperature of the ice caps.

Here's a guy who lives in a palace that probably consumes 100 times power a month than the average American Citizen and is about as Christian as my cat. He ought to hop over to China and see what their air and other pollution are like and then swing through India. Of course he must find a sail boat or something because otherwise he would be using a dreaded Carbon based fuel.
