I certainly won't be buying any "knives" that are NOT knives. What a sad, sad commentary on the pathetic, disarmed condition that too many find themselves in today. The right answer is to have MORE law abiding people armed, because you can be 100% certain that all the violent, dangerous people WILL be armed, and they don't give a damn about some silly law, they are criminals.

No knife blade in the Swiss Army knife? It's like Christians without Christ. I've owned several since the mid-'Sixties, and they have many useful functions, but without the ability to cut, what good are they? None. Of course, the British have not only banned guns--they have also banned knives. What are they going to ban next?

I have a small SAK that I keep on my key chain. Handiest thing ever when you want to cut into a recalcitrant package or, in my case, dig out the ashes in my pipe. I have no need of one for any other reason. Useless to me without a blade. I can't see this as a big seller. I doubt Victorianox will recoup their re-tooling costs.

Eco-friendly brake cables are being eaten by foxes, after manufacturers switched from petroleum-based insulation to soy, forcing owners to wrap their cars in tarpaulins. Recent photos show multiple cars covered in blue plastic for protection after a spate of attacks in Worthing, West Sussex, with locals claiming at least 20 vehicles were targeted by foxes. Jack Cousens, the AA’s head of roads policy, said the animals may be attracted to the soy-based insulation on brake wires. Since 2000, peanut and soy-based oils and waxes have been used on car parts including gearbox insulation, primer bulbs and diesel injector wires, instead of petroleum-based coverings.

The Bible calls the Jews “a stiff-necked” people. (“The Lord also said to me, ‘I have seen this people, and they are indeed a stiff-necked people.’” Deuteronomy 9:13.) In other words, they’re stubborn, and nothing has been more stubborn than American Jews’ long-standing refusal to acknowledge the rising antisemitism in the heart of the Democrat party. Donald Trump’s pro-Israel record barely swayed them. However, Biden’s blatant anti-Israel policies, combined with the violent antisemitism in academia, may finally be doing the trick. Traditionally, Jews have been second only to blacks in their fealty to the Democrat party. Many of them came from Tsarist Russia, which was fiercely antisemitic.
