Growing up, being a princess used to be something to look forward to for some girls. Who wouldn’t want the beautiful dress, the schweet crib, often times furry animal friends, or small human ones. Magic, wands, witches, ogres, gnomes sprites, and fairies. Even before the advent of video, fairy tales were there for a reason. Disney's wokeness has destroyed it from within. Good-Effing-Riddance to these "intellectuals" who remind me so much of the commisars in the HBO series Chernobyl.

Snow Brown and the Seven Squeegee men would be a better title to this Disney movie. The "Dwarves" look like they might have been recruited from the Tenderloin area of modern San Francisco.

I'm so glad that I own all of the original, pre-woke Disney classics, including Dumbo and Song of the South. My kids & grandkids are grown, but we can still enjoy the stories the way they were meant to be enjoyed!

A funny story. Remember when the song Let It Go was being sung by about every little girl in the world? Nine or ten years ago, my then 5yr. old granddaughter and my daughter were staying with us for three months while they were transitioning from one country back to the U.S. My daughter enrolled her daughter in a Catholic pre-school while they were here. One day, during recess, my granddaughter started singing that song and on the second floor of the school windows opened and the 6th grade class sang along with her. I wonder how soon Disney will remake that movie and ruin it.

The original Brothers Grimm story Snow White was first published in the early 1800s and long ago entered into the public domain, so Disney was free to copy it to create their 1937 version of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Disney's version is a derivative work, which is still copyright protected. So, any other studio can copy Grimm's Snow White but cannot copy Disney's Snow White. For example, the original Grimms story had seven dwarfs, but the Disney movie first named them. So, any studio could make a movie about Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs but would have to give them new names. Considering how many of Disney's classic movies were copied from works in the public domain, it is ironic how hard Disney has lobbied over the years to keep their works perpetually copyrighted. The last copyright extension, the 1998 Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act (informally known as the "For the Life of Mickey Mouse Copyright Extension Act" or simply "The Mickey Mouse Protection Act") extended copyrights until 95 years from the year of first publication. This year works first published in 1927 entered the public domain, and next year works first published in 1928 (including the first Mickey Mouse cartoon) will enter the public domain. Unless Disney manages to buy another Mickey Mouse Protection Act from Congress, the copyrights to Disney's 1937 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will expire at the end of 2032, putting the original Disney movie in the public domain. When that happens, any other studio will be free to make a live action version of the 1937 movie, copying it word for word if they want to. Other studios will not be able to copy the 2024 version for another 95 years, but I cannot imagine any studio ever wanting to.

SARASOTA, Fla. — Ron Filipkowski sat at a table in the Sarasota courthouse waiting for the judge to call his client’s name, when the urge to pull out his cell phone finally overcame him. The docket was stacked that day and he had time to kill. So, he did what he often does: checked X, formerly Twitter. His eyes began to scan. His fingers moved into place. Filipkowski saw that former Vice President Mike Pence had turned down an invitation to appear at a Georgia GOP convention where Donald Trump was slated to appear as the keynote speaker. He dashed off his take. “Pence is afraid

Former president Donald Trump plans to skip the first Republican primary debate on Wednesday and will instead sit for an interview with Tucker Carlson. The debate night plan, first reported by the New York Times, was finalized in recent days after Trump spent weeks crowd testing the question with campaign crowds and waffling on the topic in private discussions with advisers. The exact timing of the Tucker Carlson interview is still up in the air, but if the sit-down streams live on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, during the debate time slot, it could simultaneously strike a blow against Fox and diminish Trump’s Republican primary opponents

District Judge Maryellen Noreika has dismissed two outstanding misdemeanor tax charges against Hunter Biden following a request from federal prosecutors, setting the stage for additional charges from newly appointed special counsel David Weiss. Under the terms of an initial plea deal that later collapsed, Hunter was to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax violations and submit to a pre-trial diversion agreement to avoid a felony gun charge in exchange for broad immunity from future charges. Noreika challenged the terms of the deal in court last month, noting that the broad immunity prosecutors offered Hunter was unprecedented.

Former Attorney General Bill Barr said Thursday on FNC’s “Your World” that he would jump off that bridge when he gets to while being pressed on voting for former President Donald Trump should he be the 2024 Republican presidential nominee. Barr said, “I think there are a lot of Republican voters who have a problem. And when they’re actually confronted with, they’re grateful for Trump as they should be for a lot of the good things he did, but I think when push comes to shove, and they’re thinking about how to make America great again, anger and, you know, will give way to reason and they will see that.”

Former President Donald Trump's press conference previously scheduled for Monday regarding Georgia's 2020 election results -- in which he was expected to provide more unproven claims about voter fraud -- is now canceled. Trump posted on his Truth Social platform Thursday that the press conference was canceled because his lawyers would prefer putting his allegations "in formal Legal Filings." His campaign subsequently confirmed that the event has been called off. Trump had scheduled the press conference after he and 18 others were charged in a sweeping racketeering indictment for alleged efforts to overturn

How does one base have a death toll of 17 in the span of eight months? Why would the base not want to share information concerning what happened to these individuals and why so many people at one military installation have died? Since the base is funded with American tax dollars and the people dying are public servants, I think the general public has a right to know what is going on at Tinker Air Force Base, don’t you?
