Fourteen major American cities are part of a globalist climate organization known as the “C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group,” which has an “ambitious target” by the year 2030 of “0 kg [of] meat consumption,” “0 kg [of] dairy consumption,” “3 new clothing items per person per year,” “0 private vehicles” owned, and “1 short-haul return flight (less than 1500 km) every 3 years per person.” (Snip) Right now, hedge funds and private billionaires are buying up residential homes and farmland all over the world. At the same time, unrealistic zero-emissions policies are impoverishing Westerners and annihilating the middle class, which is fueling reliance on centralized government.

More likely than not, it will do more than hurt people — it will kill many of them. - Which is the goal, is it not? Be afraid, be very afraid. Time to lock and load.

WhTF in our government agreed to this C40 initiative? Name, names, please. They should all be hung drawn disemboweled and quartered. You guys who live in the major metropolitan cities partnering with the C40 are screwed royally. You only have six years left. BTW you all are quarantined to those cities, you cannot move. So you are SOOL.

They are ALREADY hellholes in the making-- also the most CORRUPT places around... Austin is gone, Houston has too many poor people for this to happen, but all the others are close to water except for Phoenix.

C40’s dystopian goals can be found in its “The Future of Urban Consumption in a 1.5°C World” report, which was published in 2019 and reportedly reemphasized in 2023. The organization is headed and largely funded by Democrat billionaire Michael Bloomberg. Nearly 100 cities across the world make up the organization, and its American members include Austin, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and Seattle.

Washington, DC. So, will congress have to abide by these laws too or will the Capitol Hill dining halls be chock full of Wagyu beef?
Not to mention that about 80% of DC is black - good luck taking away their barbecue. You think they have crime problems now?

This is just like the Covid fraud- trying to control people. We can’t do anything about climate change. We’re on the upswing of an ice age. Just like the dinosaurs, if we can’t adjust we will perish. These people know this but will continue on this insane path until we say stop.

Our response should be: "Over YOUR dead bodies, climate terrorists."
These efforts are being funded and driven by our enemies. They are promoting these goofy ideologues all over the civilized world. Note that there are no such movements in China, Russia, Iran, North Korea, etc. Time to draw the line and fight them like the enemies they are.

I was doing fine until I got to this, "This isn’t to say that we shouldn’t try to limit carbon emissions. "
No, no, no, no, NO!
Why must we keep accepting the left's idiotic premise? Dangerous man-caused climate change is a HOAX! By "carbon" emissions" they mean carbon dioxide which is PLANT FOOD! The current level of atmospheric CO2 is near a low point in geologic time. Plants, and hence the animals who depend on them (meaning ALL animals including us), will do far better with MORE CO2, not less. More CO2 will NOT cause the oceans to boil, will NOT destroy the Earth, will NOT turn tn us all into crispy critters! It's a hoax, a con, a scam, yet even ostensibly smart people continue to fall for it.

Right, like Washington DC will have no meat, no dairy, no cars and only trips once every 3 years. Let's see the US Congress apply that to themselves or is it just going to be for the peons.

Austin, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York City, Philadelphia, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington, DC.
How many of the Democrat voting urban occupants of these cities are okay with 3 pieces of new clothing a year, being allowed to purchase a new cell phone or laptop only every 7 years, no meat or cheese or milk ever again, a short airplane trip only once every 3 years.... because THAT is what their elected leaders signed on for is you read the report.
The big question I always ask is will these Elitist Masterminds follow their own proposals or is it simply for the "little people." We all know the answer to that. They jet around the globe in private aircraft blowing out a lifetimes worth of carbon getting to one of their many vacation homes that itself eats up a normal lifetimes worth of electricity a year. Then they drive around in one of their luxury cars consuming copious amounts of fuel so they can go hobnob at lavish soirees sipping bubbly and noshing on exotic nibbles all while touting the quaintness of poverty and the joys of communism. Damn lot of evil hypocrites!!

what' s the term for when you condemn assets, or regulate them, so you make farmland (or whatever) valueless by regulation, then your friends buy it up at cheap prices?
obama used to do this. I forget what it is called.
[and then you can give in to political pressure which will be a firestorm by then and deregulate and you hope to gain votes for this popular move, but that is not part of the phrase...]

I predict Houston will become a killing ground if meat and automobiles are banned. Unlike other dense urban centers, Houston's geography is intrinsically dependent on automobiles and real Texans, however many are left in Houston, would die before voluntarily giving up meat. Maybe that's the idea behind the latest progressive outrage.
