Biden-Appointed Judge Rules Maryland Parents
Have No Right to Opt Their Children Out
of Woke LGBTQ Curriculum

Original Article

A district judge appointed by Joe Biden has ruled that parents in Montgomery County, Maryland, have no right to opt their children out of the school’s woke LGBTQ curriculum. United States District Judge Deborah L. Boardman ruled against the Muslim-led group of parents who did not want their children exposed to far-left propaganda about sex and gender. The parents sought an injunction before the first day of school on August 28 after the district changed its policies in March to no longer allow parents to opt their children out of being assigned books that advocate pride parades, gender transitioning, and pronoun preferences for kids as young as pre-kindergarten.

Comments:

No right to opt out of insane curricula Time to opt out of government schools in Maryland. And wherever this anti-scientific drivel is mandated. Or at the very least, replace these nutcases on the school boards with advocates for parental rights.

School vouchers will only spread the contagion to private schools. Look at colleges and universities today. Only twenty two colleges in the country have refused all government aid and are free to avoid federal indoctrination mandates. Once the federal gives one cent to a school, even if it’s in the form of student aid to a poor child, the government declares ownership of all aspects of the curriculum and forces compliance. Marylanders are paying for the public schools and should not have to fork over more money to send their children to private schools to avoid indoctrination in private and political matters. Neither judges nor the Dept. of Education own those schools nor does the federal government. They are mostly paid for by states and local communities. Let those communities decide what is appropriate to teach beyond the three r’s.

Our schools were mostly good when they were that age. They are in their forties now and last year they pulled our youngest granddaughter out of public school and sent her to a private Christian school. It was expensive but the best thing they ever did. It was a financial stress but your children are the future. If you have to, give up that vacation or new car. It can be done if you really want to. I put four kids through college with one small loan while making an extremely small salary. It can be done if you are willing to make some sacrifices.

The Judge says that the school board’s no opt-out policy is not likely to be a constitutional violation, and adds that “the balance of equities and the public interest favor denying the injunction.” This just indicates that she is another socialist judge who thinks she gets to decide what is equitable and what is in the public interest. It makes one wonder if these judges even bother to consult the constitution.

Actually there are three options for Maryland residents. Opt out of Maryland public schools by using a private or church school. Opt out of Maryland public schools by homeschooling. Opt our of Maryland public schools by moving to another state. If you choose to send your children to Maryland public schools you have given your children to the state for their schooling.

Curriculum is not the correct word. LGBTQ Indoctrination is what is going on here. It is pushing the LGBTQ dogma into the minds of children that are too young to know that it is not truth, but is propaganda. When authority figures tell boys they should want to girls and girls they should want to be boys enough times, they will come to believe it without question. Parents have a perfect right to protect their children from.people wanting to screw around with their minds. It is no wonder reading and math scores are in the toilet when time is instead squandered on LGBTQ garbage.

The best defense former President Donald Trump has against his indictment in Washington for multiple conspiracies to defraud the United States as part of the events of January 6, 2021, hinges on his purportedly sincere belief that he actually won the 2020 election.
