Pope Francis said Monday that the Vatican is walking a “friendly path” with China, insisting that “relations are moving forward” on both sides. “The relationship with China is very respectful, very respectful." (snip) Pope Francis has faced widespread criticism for his policy of appeasement with the CCP, demonstrated by his unwillingness to call out China’s egregious human rights violations toward the Uyghur Muslims and other groups.

How many Catholic churches are in Beijing that recognize the Vatican, Pope Francis? In the early 1950s, a number of visionary Chinese Catholics examined the history of the Catholic Church and initiated a patriotic movement, pushing the Chinese Catholic Church on the road of administrating the religion by the Chinese Catholics themselves. In April 1958, the clergy superiors and other Catholic believers in Hankou and Wuchang parishes selected and ordained two bishops, and they reported the appointment to the Holy See, which refused to recognize the bishops and threatened to mete out extraordinary punishments. Thus, the Chinese Catholic Church had no choice but to cut off contacts with the Vatican. Later, bishops were selected and ordained by Catholics in different parts of China.

If China had a knife at the throat of anybody you cared about you too would be very very respectful. During WW2 the Dutch bishops had an anti-Hitler letter read from the pulpits one Sunday. Immediately thereafter the Third Reich arrested every single solitary Jew in Holland and deported them all to the camps, with no exceptions. This is when Edith Stein was arrested. If you had been there and cared, you would have thought afterwards, not what your words will cost you, but what they will cost others. Here however Bs is cheap since if does not matter to you what happens to Chinese Catholics so go ahead and thump your chest.

These Catholic Popes of late are nothing more than total jokes. They advocate for open borders while living behind impenetrable walls at the Vatican, they sanction gay marriage while covertly settling lawsuits against Bishops and Priests who have, for years, sexually molested young boys while hiding behind the veil provided by The Church, and take kickbacks and dirty money to promote and preach global warming, which they know full well is a hoax. Their religion will not save them at The Judgment.

Yeah, respectful like how the Vatican stood by while millions of Jews were murdered, and then they were complicit in being part of the underground railroad for the escaping nazi officers who participated in the genocide. We know where this kind of 'respectful' tends to lead.

The Government intends to seek the return of an indictment in this case before that date,” prosecutors wrote in the filing. Hunter Biden's lawyer didn't immediately return a request for comment.

Army Captain Larry Taylor flew UH-1 Huey and AH-1 Cobra helicopters during the war. During one harrowing mission, he rescued a four-man reconnaissance team that was under heavy fire.
