Pop astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson

So, after all of recorded history, it has come to this: an (alleged) astrophysicist claims it is odd that we separate male and female athletes. In a recent (2022) discussion with science writer and podcaster Michael Shermer, Neil deGrasse Tyson said: “It is a little weird that we split people by male and female in this way. I’m imagining a hundred years from now looking back and saying, ‘Do you know back 100 years ago they split boys and girls and they couldn’t compete?’ And … that’d just be kind of a little weird.” Really? At the rate we’re going, in 30 years people may not be able

I put this Neil jerk in the same category as that goofball Bill Nye "The Science Guy". Both are media creations given the veneer of being science experts, put on screens to charm and captivate lesser minds into following leftist ideology. Nye is especially cunning because his target audience is children who are easily amused and entertained by the character he so deftly plays. He's actually a Pee Wee Herman type who is selling Marxism. They are dangerous and destructive charlatans.

I like Neil. But, not as much as he does. It irks me when he states that December 25 was the birthday of a person who changed the world. And it's Sir Isaac Newton instead of Jesus Christ. Another irk is he demands that all 3 of his names be used. As someone smarter than me observed the only people who need 3 names are beauty contestants and assassins. If I ever met him I'd just say Pluto is a planet and the Big Dipper is a constellation.

My cousin has twin daughters who are both very good speed walkers. They've both won national and international awards in their sport and will attend the same university with scholarships this fall. I've often thought what would have happened to these two if boys had been on their high school team, boys with longer legs and great lung capacity. Expecting girls to compete with boys in sports is not fair.

There was a YouTube ad that Tyson appeared in that begins with something to the effect... "There is nothing more dangerous than someone who knows just enough about something to think they know everything". Tyson is the POSTERBOY for this line of thinking. He IS where he is today because of the perceived disparity of being black and an 'astrophysicist'. He is actually just a spokesmouth. And he is dangerously ignorant of even the most basic truths of life.

Astrophysicists have deeper insights into the mystery of the universe outside us, not the anthropology inside us. The sexes are different in meaningful ways that affect their interaction and competition. Go back to your telescope, Neil, or pick up a biology book from before 1990.

I would love to have him explain why it is that elite biological female athletes keep coming in behind biological males with unremarkable performances when competing against other biological males. I say this because no one has explained what female athletes are failing to do in order to win against the biological men pretending to be women. Are biological females just not trying hard enough, and that's why activists spit on them when they object to being forced into unfair competition against men?

Neil's extensive curriculum must not have included any courses in anatomy. One hundred years from now, if nothing changes, there will be no women's sports. First the cisgender women will give up in disgust. Once the "trans women" are reduced to competing only with other men, they will realize the pretense is no longer worth it.

Not to mention that intellectual competitions don't warrant separate grouping for males and females, while physical competitions veritably demand such a separation. Even if there is actually an authentic scientific molecule in Neil, it might not imply an awareness of the nature of sporting contests or the widely disparate capabilities of men vs. women.

Astrophysicists have the same foolproof protection that Climatologists have. You can be wrong on almost everything but nobody can prove it either way because what you know is theoretical and physically untouchable. Everything that you are observing through a telescope happened centuries ago. I never cared enough to bother to research his education but I can make an educated guess how he achieved it.

Lui charged that over $1 billion in suspicious transactions have been reported to the U.S. Treasury since Epstein’s death and that JPMorgan Chase ignored sex-trafficking red flags over many years, thus enabling these crimes. The case will go to trial on October 23 unless a settlement is reached.

One of the most powerful and prestigious offices in the ancient Roman Republic was the censor. It was the censor's duty to conduct the census — an account of all the citizens and their properties, an appraisal of an individual Roman's qualifications for certain honors and ranks, and a division of the people into distinct social classes. Having the authorities both to assess tax liability and noble rank made the two censors who shared this office inherently powerful. For this reason, the patricians (the ruling class) originally precluded the plebeians (the commoners) from ever obtaining the office.

It now looks like Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) may have had her own "basket of deplorables" moment during an interview with Bloomberg Television, which could, too, help the former and potentially future president. While trying to downplay Trump's popularity with the Republican base, Pelosi pointed out that Trump is "popular among his group," as a way to sort of correct the interviewer pointing out that Trump is "so popular."

The last is somewhat ironic, since I am now a considerably more isolationist conservative, but I did begin as a fairly neocon one. The usual ironies of life. David Frankens, from Lufkin, East Texas, scored the 'deals of the century' when flipping the land at around twice its market value to Sun Guangxin, a former captain in the Chinese military, local realtors told DailyMail.com. The trades have sparked fury among ranchers in Val Verde County, where Sun bought more than 130,000 acres of farmland for an estimated $110million between 2016 and 2018.

A federal judge blocked a Tennessee district attorney from enforcing the state’s law shielding children from sexually explicit performances ahead of a “Pride” event after he was sued by the American Civil Liberties Union. The judge’s ruling comes after the ACLU filed a lawsuit this week against Blount County DA Ryan Desmond, who sent a letter to Blount County Pride saying that any explicit performances in front of children would not be allowed at a “Pride” event on September 2 just south of Knoxville. Video has emerged from “Pride” events across the country of explicit drag performances with children present and looking on.

For those who think the truth about the crime and slime associated with Jeffrey Epstein has been deep-sixed down the memory hole, there may be another bite at this rotten apple. Mimi Lui, an attorney representing the U.S. Virgin Islands, has filed suit in federal court against JPMorgan Chase.
