I share with many ex-liberals a conversion story that is one of increasing rancor against liberalism. Since I hit my adulthood in the 1990s, the occasions are those of the Bush I, Clinton, and early Bush II era -- the unresisted fatwa against Salman Rushdie, monolithic Democratic support for Slick Willie during his impeachment trial, and, above all, 9/11, and the Democratic unwillingness even to say that we had Muslim enemies. The last is somewhat ironic, since I am now a considerably more isolationist conservative, but I did begin as a fairly neocon one. The usual ironies of life. Jon Voight posted a video warning in much the same vein as Mr. Randall's concerning our nation sans the journey. America is worth the fight and our enemies are right in front of us.

There are timeless values that always hold, even when humanity goes crazy. Although any of the few left who lived through WWII are now well over 100 years old, those of us who are their children have their vivid memories to share with the next generations. Also, because of the technologies of the time, it is the first war to be fully documented by photos and film. The atrocities committed by the Leftist ideologies of Nazism and Communism, or the righteous campaign to eliminate them cannot be ignored. The movies also tell the stories of bravery, self-denial and altruism that not only defined the armed forces but also the civilian populations. We have much we can learn from the heroic actions everyday people took to escape brutal regimes, or resist personally or within organized groups. We can take inspiration from our forefathers and mothers to inform our actions today. Be smart, be clever, be brave. Be Americans. MAGA REVENGE - TRUMP 2024

How the Trump Indictments Destroy the Constitution 4 replies

Perhaps the greatest danger emerging from the maniacal prosecutions against President Trump involves the left's all-out war against Trump's lawyers, which marks a broader constitutional threat to all Americans. In the Mar-a-Lago documents prosecution, former Trump lawyer Evan Corcoran, "according to multiple sources," took copious notes of his conversation with Trump. Then, going full-blown Judas Iscariot, he betrayed Trum by surrendering confidential notes to Jack Smith's power-hungry little prosecutors.

When the corporate media asked the IRS why it needed automatic weapons, millions of rounds of ammunition and heavily armed staffers trained in the “use of force,” they said it was for “administrative reasons.” But we now know that the globalists are not just arming the IRS, along with just about every other federal agency. They are militarizing these agencies to the hilt with military-grade weapons not available to American citizens.

The judicial persecution of Donald Trump has exposed the blatant political bias that animates many Federal District Court judges. Packing the Federal Judiciary at all levels with left-wing judges is the cornerstone of the Marxist Democrat Party strategy to permanently transform America. If they win the presidency in 2024, they will have succeeded in packing the Federal Judiciary by the end of the term on January 20, 2029. This process began in earnest with Barack Obama.
The Republican Debate Was Unsatisfying
Because No One Addressed The Most Important Issue

The first Republican debate was a disappointing disaster—for the candidates and America. Not one of the questions addressed the elephant in the room. In fact, the list of questions selected by Fox News, which likely received enthusiastic approval from the Democrat Party, helped highlight the elephant. Candidates were asked about a viral blue grass song, inflation, Ukraine, China, Israel, and other foreign relations issues, crime, energy, the border, climate change, abortion, and more. But as important as these things are, they pale by comparison to the single most important issue, the one posing the greatest threat to our Republic since the 1850s.

A senior law professor at New York University Law, Professor Burt Neuborne, who is also the founding director of NYU’s Brennan Center, and perhaps ironically a former national legal director of the American Civil Liberties Union, penned a Guest Essay (“There’s a Good Chance Trump Will Be Found ‘Willfully Blind’), which is a fascinating example of falsification and post hoc fallacy: he aggressively advances with astonishing mistruths that President Trump is already guilty based solely on accusations; makes from that particular false assumption, a false conclusion that the former president has limited legal remedies

Some truths are so staggering in their ramifications that Americans simply shrug and tune them out as if strangers in a strange land. Is their current bewilderment because modernist America is unrecognizable —a nonexistent border, downtown homeless juxtaposed to hipster professional elites, DEI racial essentialism, cities reverting to precivilizational wastelands, millions exiting blue states to red, an FBI and DOJ gone rogue, the normalization of violent theft and assault, biologically born men sandbagging women’s sports and their locker room privacy?

The illegitimate Deep State's war against Donald Trump and MAGA-supporting Americans has taken on a stench of defeat similar to that of the Gallipoli campaign during the First World War. In that botched attempt to take control of the Ottoman straits and seize Constantinople, the Entente powers suffered roughly 300,000 casualties over a year of desperate fighting just to make it off the beach. It is rightly considered a colossal failure of military planning and execution and a symbol of deadly Establishment hubris. The Battle of Gallipoli began in 1915.

Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans with Mother Nature’s fury in late August 2005, causing over 1800 fatalities and over $100 billion in property damage. Because a Republican president resided in the White House, the corporate media and Democrats took the opportunity to pounce on the disaster response. From “Heck of a job Brownie” to President George W Bush’s famous flyover in Air Force One high above New Orleans, the cost of human suffering was far less important to the media than the opportunity to stick it to President Bush.

Speaker Kevin McCarthy joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures this weekend. Bartiromo opened up the discussion asking McCarthy if he will launch an impeachment investigation. McCarthy balked once again. This guy is so weak. Democrats are destroying the country on every front. They are stealing our freedoms and have indicted the leading Republican with 91 bogus charges on speech charges. And McCarthy is still talking about someday, possibly, if the stars align, he will open an impeachment inquiry!

At this point in time, no one is surprised when another wave of bad headlines about Prince Andrew hit the newsstands and the web. So, when it arises that ‘King Charles is concerned that more information will come to light connecting Prince Andrew to Jeffrey Epstein’, we think it’s just another day in fair old United Kingdom. However, come to think of it, in light of the fact that no new disclosure has come to light recently – although there is an ongoing TV series on Andrew’s scandal – one is left wondering WHY the spin doctors from Buckingham palace would be volunteering this information to the press?

On August 17, Vivek Ramaswamy was interviewed by Tucker Carlson. At the very beginning, Ramaswamy spoke candidly about 9/11: “I didn’t suggest it. I explicitly said that the government absolutely lied to us. The 9/11 Commission lied. The FBI lied to us.” After dropping that bombshell, Ramaswamy went on to describe a scenario that he says “doesn’t make much sense on the face of it.” He explained how a 42-year-old Saudi Arabian graduate student went to Los Angeles International Airport and, while there, met up with two Saudi nationals who went on to hijack a plane on 9/11, which they then crashed into the Pentagon.

ROME — Pope Francis has doubled down in his personal war on fossil fuels while condemning “extreme practices” such as fracking. It is time world leaders to “listen to science and institute a rapid and equitable transition to end the era of fossil fuel,” the pontiff urges in his message for the Feast of Creation, to be celebrated on September 1. It is “absurd to permit the continued exploration and expansion of fossil fuel infrastructures,” he insists. “Let us raise our voices to halt this injustice towards the poor and towards our children, who will bear the worst effects of climate change.” “The unrestrained burning of fossil fuels

Mitch McConnell is medically cleared to continue working despite suffering his second freeze-up in a month amid worries he is no longer fit to continue serving as Republican Senate Leader. The 81-year-old consulted with Capitol Physician Dr. Brian Monahan following the worrisome incident, according to a press release Thursday where the doctor said McConnell is 'medically cleared' to continue his usual work. Dr. Monahan said it's normal to experience lightheadedness in concussion recovery. He also said the episode could be attributed to dehydration.

The House Minority Leader made a series of calls to Senate allies following the latest troubling appearance, in an apparent effort to assure them of his health and drum up support as worries circulate over his age and fitness to continue serving.

Our world in 2023 is filled with different cultures, and we are familiar with the individuals from these diverse nations. This is a wonderful connection and one of the reasons I loved growing up in Manhattan and being exposed to so many people from other countries. As a woman of color who had grown up in the 1950s, my exposure to what constituted American culture was exclusively White although at the time it wasn’t labeled as such. It also made no difference to me that the idea of diversity in culture was even necessary.

No one wants to hear about Ukraine again, but we need to talk about Ukraine again. The Republican debate the other week highlighted the problem. And the problem is simple. There are no good answers, but all the candidates are going to have to pick one anyway. This is one giant Slavic Schiff sandwich, and everybody’s got to take a bite. But there is no point in muttering about how if Biden was not such an incompetent half-wit who had humiliated us in Afghanistan Putin would never have invaded, or observe that Putin never invaded when Trump was in charge. We are where we are, the current situation is a mess.

Univision’s Ilia Calderón, who will co-moderate the second Republican presidential debate, is a staunch critic of former President Donald Trump, having accused him of empowering white supremacists and “racist” rhetoric in the past. Fox News and Univision announced that Calderón, along with Fox News’s Dana Perino and Fox Business Network’s Stuart Varney, will moderate the September 27 debate at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California. Calderón, who co-moderated the last Democrat presidential debate in 2020 between Sen. Observers in the courtroom broke out in tears as Judge Timothy Kelly sentenced Joseph Biggs to 204 months in prison for walking in the Capitol building for approximately 20 minutes during the Capitol riot on January 6. The government sought 33 years for Biggs. Kelly ceded to the defense that the government sentencing recommendation was egregious. Kelly noted prior offenders who were found guilty of seditious conspiracy had all murdered people, attempted to murder masses of people, bombed or attempted to bomb buildings and committed other violent crimes that resulted in mass casualty. But the federal judge proceeded to throw the book at the decorated veteran who earned two purple hearts while serving

By far the best reason to support Governor DeSantis, or at least admire him as an outstanding governor, is that he is uber-competent when it comes to actual governing. This is not a post explaining why I support DeSantis over Trump–that is, at the moment, a pointless exercise anyway. All I really want to do is highlight the fact that being a good leader requires something besides saying the right things, but actually accomplishing the important things. And how accomplishing the important things allows you to say the right things and move the ball forward. DeSantis has proven to be an exceptionally competent governor,

Donald Trump says he will lock up his political enemies if he is president again. In an interview on Tuesday, the rightwing broadcaster Glenn Beck raised Trump’s famous campaign-trail vow to “lock up” Hillary Clinton, his opponent in 2016, a promise Trump did not fulfill in office.Beck said: “Do you regret not locking [Clinton] up? And if you’re president again, will you lock people up?” Trump said: “The answer is you have no choice, because they’re doing it to us.” Trump has encouraged the “lock her up” chant against other opponents but he remains in considerable danger of being locked up himself.
