Mitch McConnell, 81, carried on with his Wednesday evening plans with fellow Republican Sen. Jim Banks just hours after freezing up in public for the second time in the matter of a month.
The episodes come amid growing concern over McConnell's health following multiple falls in recent years – including one that led to a concussion and broken ribs.
The House Minority Leader made a series of calls to Senate allies following the latest troubling appearance, in an apparent effort to assure them of his health and drum up support as worries circulate over his age and fitness to continue serving.

Mitch "MultiUselessMotionLess" McConnell, with his RINO fetch dogs at his side, will say everything is fine. Chuck "Snake" Schumer is expected to keep him in power.

We need Mitch to hold on for awhile.
Until the good people of Kentucky elect a Republican governor in November. Then Mitch can resign and the new governor can appoint his successor, a true conservative.
Then, of course, the trick will be to get the Republican senate and their many RINOs to support electing a true conservative as their Leader. Problem is, the RINOs like Thune and Coryn are probably the replacements. Rand Paul or Ted Cruz would be a much better choice.

Move Mitch out of the leadership position. He can then be wheeled around like Mrs. Cryptkeeper from Cali to vote “aye” when needed until a replacement can be elected in his place.

He looks very sick to me, has lost a lot of weight. Needs to go home for good.

fta: The latest has renewed calls for term limits in the House and Senate – even from those within the walls of Congress.
The greatest failure of the Founding Fathers imo. They who knew human nature so well should have guessed that old evil men (and now women) would hold onto power until their dying breath and we the people would be saddled with evil demented and senile fools for representatives. Term limits for everyone in government!!

Re: #10 - I respectfully submit that it was the American people (citizen voters) who failed, not the Founders, by continuing to vote to return the bad eggs, like WV Sen. Robert Byrd, to office for 51 years, often due to their own self interest, as their 'guy' consistently had juicy earmarks for his constituents. The people could have demanded and obtained term limits via Constitutional Amendment, had the people really wanted such limits.

I'm sorry but a senator in his condition cannot be the public face of the party. Stay in the senate for the numbers, but step down from leadership and get someone on the podium who is fit.

John56: I live here in KY (Thomas Massie is my Congressman.) If I'm not mistaken by KY law IF Mitch should kick the bucket Gov Beshear has to appoint a replacement from the Republican party. We have supermajorities in the KY House and KY Senate, so a DemoRAT Gov like Beshear wouldn't be allowed to appoint a DemoRAT

He looks significantly more frail than he did a few weeks ago when he froze like that for the first time (in public). He gave coherent answers to the next questions but he wouldn't answer the question about running for reelection. Hmm. Are Dr. Jill and Mrs. McConnell following the same advisors?

Boycott Kentucky - except keep sending Rand Paul $$$. Jack Daniels is now on my Never Buy list. The same goes for South Carolina and other RINO states. People have to learn that betrayal has consequences. You put a mutt like McConnell or Lindsey Graham in Washington, you get the back of my hand.
