Sunday Talks – Chris Sununu Says Biden
Impeachment Would Be “Unhealthy” for Country

Isn’t it interesting how professional Republicans can always find a way to protect the professional Democrats, yet you never see the reverse scenario. That truthful reality is just one small way you can help people break out of their battered conservative syndrome. The professional Republicans are indeed like the role-playing Washington Generals. It’s not an accident the GOPe push their reach across the aisle, high-minded approach, it’s strategic. All of it follows a script and the performance actors are very easy to identify.

You mean "unhealthy" like bringing down a republic by impeaching Trump twice, stealing an election from him, and continuing to rile the country over phony charges against him? That kind of "unhealthy?" Fire Biden's arse and let American start to recuperate from its currently VERY unhealthy state.

Biden is almost in his last year as President. It will take that year for an impeachment that will never be backed by the Senate. An impeachment of Biden is a waste of energy. We all know what he has done and continues to do. We need to work to see that the next election is honest and not stolen by the democrats. That is the main issue. After we elect Trump again Joe Biden, Garland, Wray, and Mayorkas should be indicted. The democrats started the ball rolling with indicting Trump, An innocent man, we need to keep that ball rolling by indicting these criminals.

It would be unhealthy for the country. However, having a corrupt president (without regard to his being inept as well) is unhealthy as well. The democrats in the house and senate will likely not go along with impeachment no matter how compelling the evidence may be. If so, this too is unhealthy. It seems to be a question of the lessor of multiple evils.

California Democrats are threatening the visitation rights of divorced or separated parents who don’t "affirm" their gender-confused child’s identity under a last-minute change to a proposal meant to protect children from abusers. (snip) Neither bill defines what "affirmation" means, leaving it to judges to decide if it includes irreversible puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and genital surgeries. Nor does it specify what age a child should be before his or her preferred identity should be unquestioningly "affirmed." The manager of the park, Mohammad Babaei, told local media the complex was shuttered by the authorities because too many people were “ignoring chastity and hijab” rules. U.S. military equipment abandoned in Afghanistan has made its way to militant groups in other countries through the Taliban, Pakistan alleged Monday. Pakistan's caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said terror groups in the country are now using American equipment, including night vision goggles and firearms, in their operations. One group, known as the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), has increased attacks on government forces in recent months. The U.S. abandoned approximately $7 billion worth of military equipment in Afghanistan following President Biden's withdrawal from the country in 2021.

State Department employees were so distressed by President Joe Biden’s botched 2021 withdrawal from Afghanistan that the deputy secretary of state, Wendy Sherman, found diplomats working on the evacuation in tears. At Foggy Bottom, leadership sought to ease their pain—by bringing in a therapy dog, according to a new book. "Afghanistan was a collective trauma for the administration, especially the State Department," writes Atlantic reporter Frank Foer in his new book, The Last Politician, an account of Biden’s first two years in office. "To deal with the trauma, the State Department brought a therapy dog into the building with the hope that it might ease the staff’s pain."

The U.S. deficit is projected to roughly double this year, largely due to higher interest rates and lower tax revenue. The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, an organization that pushes for lowering the deficit, is projecting the federal deficit will double this year to total about $2 trillion for the fiscal year that ends Sept. 30. Marc Goldwein, senior policy director at the organization, told The Hill that high interest rates, lower tax revenues and high inflation resulting in higher Social Security and Medicare costs have all contributed to the rising deficit.

A new Texas law recently went into effect that would impose further consequences on drunk drivers. The legislation, known as Bentley’s Law, mandates that individuals who kill a child’s parents because they were driving while intoxicated will be liable for paying child support. The new law presents an interesting ethical and legal proposition that aims to mitigate the trauma and damage caused by those who drive while drunk. It seems to make sense: If a drunk driver robs a child of their parent, doesn’t it make sense that they should be financially responsible for the loss?
