Joe Biden lied repeatedly when he claimed he knew nothing of his son Hunter's influence-peddling businesses. The president further prevaricated that he had no involvement in Hunter's various shake-down schemes. Yet, the media continued to misinform by serially ignoring these facts. Had journalists just been honest and independent, then-candidate Joe Biden might have lost a presidential debate and even the 2020 election. The public would have learned that Hunter's business associates and his laptop proved Joe was deeply involved in his son's illicit businesses.

Sorry, but NOTHING was going to cause Biden to lose the 2020 election. Well, he DID lose it, but he was gifted the presidency via fraud. Same thing will happen in 2024 unless something earth shaking happens to the Dims' (ie DeepState) ability to steal elections. I would imagine they are only better at it now. Nothing can stop them when they have the full power of the DeepState to wield (including the MSM).

I seem to recall, long time back, the weather services were so bad families of fishing boat operators who were lost at sea because they went out based on those reports when they shouldn't have, had grounds to sue the weather service. Weather services have since improved tremendously. Can Media be held to some form of accountability? We are truly suffering from their malpractice.

I said this in 2020 and will repeat it now. Once the Dems/Deep State/ Media, but I repeat myself, now have blatantly stolen the presidential election with zero consequences, why should the Reps expect them to relinquish power and allow an honest election? Answer, they won't. Same thing happened in AZ in 2022 and in the CA recall.

That's a huge jump from reality. If the media were honest, Barack Obama would never have been elected to his first term, Obolacare would be a forgotten stupid idea, COVID would have been treated like the mild cold that it was, Joe Biteme would have been a forgotten failed senator like Teddy the Swimmer, Hillary would not have been a part of any government after Slick's and America would still be the number one place in the world to be. We owe them a lot and we will not forget the harm they have done.

This information by Dr. Hanson neatly summarizes many things that drive people living with reality to distraction. We wonder how so many “liberals” are unable to recognize them. If our present world survives, the ongoing liberal nightmare will be seen in the correct light, as an unprecedented insult to ideals of democracy.

Scholars like Prof Hanson, and many more can write about the 2024 Presidential election but the fact is: The Dems will steal the election of whoever runs! Period! The MSM, the justice department, etc. will participate. The only way is for the Republicans to pull the head out of their butts and stop it. But knowing the Republicans who complain and cry will do nothing.

I'm take No. 8 and go one step further. If the media were honest, Barack Obama would never have been elected to his first term, we would have had President McCain and Vice President Palin. Had the "Chosen One" not been chosen, how many here would think the MSM would have been okay with that? The vilification that Trump received would have started 8 years earlier. I have no doubt his administration choices would have come replete with scandals aplenty, giving the media much to feast on. Given McCain's penchant for "reaching across the aisle," we would have been served up "Obama Light," likely for eight years. Trump, quite possibly, would have never gotten into politics and we would be in Obama's second term right now, because he is that cunning, obsessed with power and he's a Democrat. But let's face it: if the media were really honest, McCain would have never gotten the nomination either and things would be very, very different today.

Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy is facing stiff opposition to the latest spending bill and might have to risk his speakership by compromising with Democrats to get it passed, according to reports. The California Republican had a rocky road to confirmation as speaker when he suffered 14 failed votes before finally winning a majority of his caucus to take the speaker’s gavel in January. McCarthy also has faced many calls to step down during his short time heading the lower chamber of Congress. But the fight over the coming vote on the budget bill is shaping up as a particularly perilous time for the speaker, according to CNN.

If the obvious impacts of America's proxy war in Ukraine are lives lost and debt accrued, a quieter impact is the neoconservatives' revival. A few weeks ago, the Biden administration conferred the deputy secretary of state position on Victoria Nuland, a policymaker in almost every 21st-century American intervention abroad and an ardent supporter of our involvement in Ukraine. Recently, William Kristol, who along with Nuland's husband Robert Kagan co-founded the Project for the New American Century, which drove the push for the Iraq invasion, launched a $2-million organization, Republicans for Ukraine, encouraging congressional Republicans to fund the proxy war

Lui charged that over $1 billion in suspicious transactions have been reported to the U.S. Treasury since Epstein’s death and that JPMorgan Chase ignored sex-trafficking red flags over many years, thus enabling these crimes. One of the most powerful and prestigious offices in the ancient Roman Republic was the censor. It was the censor's duty to conduct the census — an account of all the citizens and their properties, an appraisal of an individual Roman's qualifications for certain honors and ranks, and a division of the people into distinct social classes. Having the authorities both to assess tax liability and noble rank made the two censors who shared this office inherently powerful. For this reason, the patricians (the ruling class) originally precluded the plebeians (the commoners) from ever obtaining the office.

We all remember when then-Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton referred to Trump supporters as a "basket of deplorables." At the very least, it didn't help her campaign, and Donald Trump won the 2016 election. It now looks like Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) may have had her own "basket of deplorables" moment during an interview with Bloomberg Television, which could, too, help the former and potentially future president. While trying to downplay Trump's popularity with the Republican base, Pelosi pointed out that Trump is "popular among his group," as a way to sort of correct the interviewer pointing out that Trump is "so popular."

Because his Cobra attack helicopter only had room for the two pilots onboard, the soldiers clung to the skids until Taylor was able to drop them off at a nearby American position.
