Lancet‘s guidelines encourage writers to embrace gender identity instead of biological sex. “Sex and gender are often incorrectly portrayed as binary (female/male or woman/man), concordant, and static,” says the guidelines. Therefore, those submitting articles “should use the term ‘sex assigned at birth’ rather than ‘biological sex,’ ‘birth sex’ or ‘natal sex’ as it is more accurate and inclusive.” Inclusive for whom? (Rhetorical question. I know the answer. The men pretending to be females) The Lancet claims “there is no single, universally agreed-upon set of guidelines for defining sex and gender or reporting sex-based and gender based analyses.”

In its effort to blast “woke” military policies, a Washington-based legal watchdog this week sued the Pentagon for documents detailing the hows and whys of the U.S. Military Academy’s decision to delete its famous motto “Duty, Honor, Country” from its mission statement.
Judicial Watch told Secrets that the move came after West Point refused to turn over information about the change. As a result, the group filed a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit earlier this week.
“Given the woke virus infecting West Point, deleting the words ‘Duty, Honor, Country’ from its mission statement has sparked justified concern about what the Army’s rising leadership is being taught at the United States Military Academy."
Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) introduced a bill Friday that would allow presidents and vice presidents — current and former — to move their own civil or criminal cases from a state court to a federal court to stop political local prosecutions such as the one former President Donald Trump faced in New York, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.

A California law requiring alcohol-serving establishments such as bars and clubs to offer date rape drug testing kits goes into effect on July 1. AB 1013, the law behind the mandate, passed unanimously in 2023.
The bill requires establishments to have signs saying, “Don't get roofied! Drink spiking drug test kits available here. Ask a staff member for details” prominently displayed, and provide the kits for free or a “reasonable” amount relative to wholesale price.
The test kits must be able to detect at least flunitrazepam (also known as “roofies”), ketamine, and gamma hydroxybutyric acid.

The mother of an accused California car thief who was fatally stabbed during a heist attempt wants authorities to reopen the case and charge her son’s killer in the name of “justice.”
Xavier Jerrod Cerf, 27, was fatally stabbed around 8 p.m. June 17 after a group of students confronted him as he allegedly tried to steal an older Mercedes parked behind a frat house on the University of Southern California’s Greek Row, according to ABC 7.
Cerf allegedly told the students that the car was his because it was “calling him” and “had his name” — then told them he had a handgun before reaching for his waist, investigators said.
