In a way, last night’s runoff election in Georgia provided the perfect cap to a midterm cycle full of missed opportunities and poor assumptions. Herschel Walker narrowly lost as a celebrity outsider to a two-year Senate Democrat incumbent who should have been uniquely vulnerable in 2022. And yet Walker finished behind Raphael Warnock not once but twice, in a state that elected Republicans into every other statewide office last month.
Walker couldn’t get to 50% in either try despite the results of the regular election for Republicans in all other statewide races:
Governor: Brian Kemp over Stacey Abrams, 53.4/45.9
SecState: Brad Raffensperger 53.2/44.0 over Bee Nguyen
Lt. Governor: Burt Jones 51.4/46.4

Hi Ed, learn this lesson and learn it well:
Elections are no longer about voters or votes. They are about ballots and how many can be stuffed.
You can possibly be taken seriously after you absorb that simple fact.

I look at the state of Georgia and the only thought that comes to mind is "Is this all they have to offer"?

Yes #1, and Pennsylvania election of Fetterman is further proof.

Another election where the democommies gave us a "close but no cigar." Almost every election that they should be losing, they squeak by with a narrow lead. When you have a total of 500,000 votes as an example, but the democrat wins by 2,000 votes most of the time, there is something wrong. Those numbers don't represent any particular race, but the majority of races are extremely close even in red districts. It also doesn't help that the corrupt DOJ came out to Georgia and Arizona to stick their nose in a assure the steal.

The take away is that the RNSC holds the purse and the membership list and its a big club, and you aint in it. ( G Carlin). the snobs of the political class, taking instructions from the Swamp, run at half speed for populist candidates and would rather lose than see a populist succeed.
But hey, Mitch's old girlfriend from Alaksa still has table in the Sente dining room.

I love how this dipstick still believes elections in this country are honest. Of course, gaslighting is probably what he is up to with pretending elections are honest. Not buy the bull, Ed!!!

It was a very close race until the "special delivery package" for Warnock was delivered at the end of the night.

While voter fraud is a problem, the bigger problem is the dumb dishonest voter that cannot see the country collapsing around them and voter for their own self-preservation. We persist in voting for the people causing the problem or put our nose up in the air and refuse to vote. Apparently over 100k Republicans voted for every other statewide Republican but Walker. Proof that the Republican party has its fair share of dumb dishonest voters.

Fetterman is nothing more than a cruel, expensive joke paid for by billionaires and the DNC. He will be nothing more than a rubber stamp for the dems who will collect a salary and lifetime benefits for doing no more than that. He doesn't even have to show up for work and, given his record of absentee employment, probably won't. It would seem that all of the stupid people in Pennsylvania live in Philadelphia but they simply inherited the old cheating machine.

Author is making the assumption (without any evidence, as the MSM loves to state when it suits them) that establishment Republicans are in no way responsible for stolen elections and wouldn't partake in a little election rigging for themselves.

#9, that is what they told you. Did 100,000 really not vote? I don't believe it until I see some proof. Maybe they are trying to make their cheating look less like cheating and more like people just didn't vote.

Don't ever vote for Raffensperger, he is a traitor to the Republican Party and clean elections. Whatever he did it must have been pretty bad that he wanted to keep it a secret and fold to the Democrats.

Let's see the Kraken...
It's past time to stop acting like nine year olds who lost a game. "They cheated", is a common refrain. This is politics, and it ain't beanbag. As they say in NASCAR, if you ain't cheatin', you ain't trying (or winning). And no one is going anywhere forward whining about '20 and whether Trump ought to be declared the winner two years later.

FTA: "Yet when asked to choose between Democrat incumbents like Warnock and Maggie Hassan and alternatives like Walker and Don Bolduc, voters chose the incumbents over the populist outsiders. Why? Because the populist outsiders were poor candidates focused on the wrong issues..."
Conservatism > Populism > Marxism. Ideology matters but not equally everywhere.

#16, the only child around here is you. Put your big boy pants on and take instruction: we no longer have a representative government. Your vote means nothing. You have no voice.

Not sure who this guy is, but I am getting tired of this so-called "argument" against Herschel. Not only did Herschel start off as a NON-politician, but he fought a primary, fought a general election on THREE fronts (against the democrats, the RINOs, and the Mainstream Fake News media), and he was not funded by the RNC to the extent he should have been.
I think he did pretty damn well.

The Walker Flop = dems were ballot harvesting in November, while the GOP establishment was in court losing. They fell behind in the ground game to gather 'ballots' and never recovered.

The uni-press sure speaks with one voice about Walker. Talk about piling on! Not a word about possible voter fraud when ballots are unprotected. The MSM is worthless!

#1, EXACTLY. Candidates dont matter anymore, and neither does issues. ALL that matters is how many ballots can be piled up in advance of the election.

#2. Is this all Georgia had to offer? Are you one of the ones who say that Walker sounds stupid. Some people are doers, most dim-0s are talkers. Herschel may not sound as good as that dim-0 who "won", but to my way of thinking that isnt the big thing. I heard a boy at the pool hall talking about how he was going to vote for harvey gantt against JESSE HELMS, because Jesse wouldnt agree to a whole bunch of debates.
I told him he was a dumbass and that JESSE HELMS was the best Senator in America and that EVERY politician running for congress should be required to take a course on how to legislate like Jesse, and pass it, before being sworn in as a congress person.

It’s time to stop the “gee, Hershel did really good” nonsense! He got beat! Honestly or by cheating! It’s time for the Republican’ts to stop slapping themselves on the back with how great they almost are! They are Pikers compared to the Commie RATS and we are losing our culture, country and sanity!

Folks are in denial. So somehow Georgia elected plenty of Republicans at all levels including Governor this happened with all the fraud, we lost with the DJT man. DJT cannot win a national election.

I think the rinos establishemnt uni party where working against Walker to hurt Trump. Then they will put a Bush;Ryan/McCain/Romney type to run in 2024. I'd rather lose than vote for another rino.
MAGA Trump 2024
