Republican Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton confronted Kroger CEO Rodney McMullen on Nov. 29 after he suggested Republicans help save businesses while Democrats impose heavy regulations.
Cotton spoke during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on the proposed merger between the Kroger and Albertsons grocery chains, and said companies shouldn’t inject themselves into cultural issues only to ask conservatives for help later on.

They gay/queer advocacy groups have gotten to a phase where they are throwing their political weight around to see what they can get away with. In this case they attempt to force people to wear regalia associated with a political issue, using the potential loss of employment as a threat. The truth is that homosexual activity is an absurd pantomime of the mammalian reproductive act engaged in by two or more homosexuals, where at least one of them assumes the role of the female being penetrated. Since this organism lacks female genitalia, it substitutes the misuse of the lower digestive tract as a sort of counterfeit vagina. Since this organ is normally used for the evacuation of feces it should be no surprise that this unhygienic activity leads to the spread of disease; HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, monkeypox. Deep down the homosexuals recognize this, since it is not opinion, it is undeniable demonstrable biological fact., they have to force people to go beyond just tolerance [mind your own business, privacy, consenting adults] to forcing people to express support, by requiring compulsory public support for a political cause.

My opinion…corporations have to be very careful about injecting themselves into cultural issues. I personally do not care if Krogers forces that employees into, say, wearing NK military garb…I can vote with my feet…and employees can also. But, while our nation values free speech, it also values the right to not speak. Requiring an employee to express an opinion…does not stroke me as coherent with our value system.

I used to like shopping at Pick N' Save but ever since associating itself with Kroger, I don't care for the grocery stores. I went there the other day but probably won't go back; I also found the cashier to be rude. They seem more cluttered. I will go elsewhere.

OP
because it has nothing to do with tolerance. It is Social control - the S in ESG.
If Kroger wants to continue to borrow money in order to continue to engage in commerce, the global banking system requires Kroger to openly display acceptance of the Social mores du jour. Of course it isn't only Kroger.
The only method of stopping the movement is for employees to refuse to participate. The worst manifestation of ESG totalitarianism is in law enforcement "I'm was only following orders".

Well, no Kroger stores around where we live, but if there were, I'd stop shopping there, and so would my wife.

If we had a Kroger, I would go there to tell them why I will not shop in their store. In the past, we had Kroger in the States we lived in and I found them okay, but not up to others we are now lucky enough to have. Publix and Fresh Market are pretty hard to beat imho. But, if I hear of them pulling a stunt like Kroger, I will not subsidise them by shopping there!

In the discussion Kroger chief stated they already recognize/celebrate FIVE different Gay/Trans days company wide, and may be adding more.
When can we declare, recognize, and celebrate a National "Normal" People Day?

Unfortunately, where I live, Kroger is king...they have the shoppers locked in with their fuel points and coupons. We have Walmart, and Aldi and a lone small IGA....
I have yet to see a Alphabet sticker on anyone in my local store...

So now any rainbow-colored heart is assumed to be LGBT, we need to stop letting groups take over common things, its bad enough they ruined a great word "gay" and turned into a perverted thing.

In a lot of small towns Kroger is the only grocery chain. They under cut the other groceries, like Marsh, who went under. Once they have a monopoly, their prices go up and their service goes down. Most of their lines are self check out. I absolutely hate Krogers. I have very little choice unless I want to drive 50 miles to another grocery chain. I do go to Sam's Club but they don't carry everything. Also, a little store called Fresh Thyme which is good but does not carry everything either. Use Sam's Club and the Fresh Thyme to avoid Krogers as much as possible.

Maybe so, #12. But, so far, they are keeping their sexual activity relatively private & haven’t appropriated particular representative language & symbols & organized into political groups with the clout to legally force others into compliance if they choose not to support that activity or do the same.
Many forms of arrogance can obviously be forced upon mankind by earthly judges, et al, but there is an ultimate Judge who made the rules contained in the one law book by which we all are commanded to live if we want a life in a better place where love & rainbows and being gay have entirely different meaning one day.
It’s truly heartbreaking that so many refuse to comply with that great law book. The further we get away from its laws the worse becomes society for everyone. One wonders how long before the scenes of attempting to force individuals out of their homes so that others can “know” them might be replayed. Guessing there unfortunately would be many more pillars of salt among those forced to flee these days.

I have a serious concern that 50% of Washington DC is comprised of Homosexual activists. The other half are lazy Civil Servants watching "black beauty tip" shows on their government computers all day.
