With the holidays quickly approaching, parents, media figures and the entertainment industry are criticizing many of the traditions behind Christmas.
Even Santa himself has come under fire. Some Gen Z parents aren’t allowing their children to believe he is real, as evidenced by the hashtag #santaisntreal which has received nearly 19M views on TikTok. Many parents cite concerns that once their children find out Santa’s magic is a myth, they’ll be "traumatized."
Mother Sierra McKenzie went viral for a video she posted to TikTok stating she wouldn’t be "lying to them [her kids] about Santa,"

These fools don't want their kids to believe in Santa Claus, yet THEY still believe socialism works, hydrocarbon fuels cause climate change, a man can get pregnant and all the other fairy tales of the left.

It's called laziness. It takes effort to give your children a magical Christmas with gifts from Santa. Their laziness also extends to discipline in all things. Your children are the ones who suffer. Parents, please get over yourselves, and put your children first in your life. They are only home for 18 years, and it passes very quickly!

Whiskey Tango Hotel is wrong with these fools? Of course there is a Santa Claus. I know it for a fact because for several years when my children were young I WAS SANTA CLAUS! It was wonderful.

Sadly they seem aware they are raising their own children to be so weak and pathetic that finding out Santa isn't real will traumatize the kids.
Maybe if they were better parents their children would be able to cope better with minor disappointments in life. What is going to happen to the children of genz if they're raised even more special and protected than their genz parents were? We already saw how badly genz turned out. This is the generation that grew up with the concept of participation trophies, trigger words, safe spaces, and how their feelings are more real than reality itself.
Sad, sad, sad.

Well, I guess this will give the next generations someone to hate on (the GenZ crowd) after we Boomers take our eternal celestial dirt nap.
Seriously, the national separation has begun and I think that the divorce will be made final in 2024. At some point, rational conservatives who think objectively will have had enough and will pull away from those who are embracing the New Hedonism religion. Along with the political traditions we must conserve are the social traditions such as thankfulness, devotion, honesty, and yes, Santa.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to LDotters everywhere!!

Well, well. Just remember, parents, after those children have spent years in therapy, they'll get to pick your nursing home.

I believe in Santa Claus to this day. Way after the playground kids ratted him out.

Traumatized by the idea that Santa isn't real? What a load of BS. I'm pretty sure that by the time kids are five, they know Santa isn't real. Probably even earlier. Alright, if these parents don't want their kids to know about Santa, how about introducing them to the real reason we celebrate Christmas. There was a baby Jesus born. It wasn't on Dec.25th, but he was born. Most religious scholars I believe think Jesus was most likely born in the springtime. Probably in March, but that doesn't take away the significance of the event. It will serve them well as they get older and have a much more positive effect on them.

Not to run down Harry Potter, but these same derps think that kind of magic is okay while the Santa myth is not. Guess what the difference is? Religion.

The past couple of years the biggest challenge I face everyday (and it becomes more and more challenging each day) is finding something good and positive about this country and its future. So Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah (nope NO Kwanzaa wishes (talk about a lie).

Let’s start another campaign Climate Change isn’t Real! You shouldn’t lie to your kids and scare them with a lie! It’s a hoax designed to move the wealth from conservative owned fossil fuel industry to a liberal owned renewal energy industry. That’s all it is folks!

The day will come when these children find out God is real. It’s more important that their parents prepare them for that truth.

These people will never be "happy" until they suck all the joy from your soul and fill it with the manure they are pushing. Do what you want but leave us the hell alone. Suzie, there is no Santa but you are really a boy. Lies, distortion, craziness, insanity, BS. Just who is the nut job here?

I spent a year in therapy for depression as an adult, and somehow Santa never came up as one of my childhood traumas. Why deprive kids of believing in something wildly improbable but magical? They'll be adults for a long time, so let them be innocent children for a least a little while.

I wish people a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! If they don't like, I tell them I will pray for them so that they may know the joy of Christ and his birth and sacrifice.
Sometimes that really gets them angry, I smile and walk away.

The Christ child is real; Good St Nick is real. Good neighbours and giving hearts are real.
I'm a believer.
When i started to doubt SC's bona fides--God sent me 'a sign'--witnessed by the entire family. Even my parents were gobsmacked.
I carry that sign in my heart to this very day.

Kids figure it out early on. Then most of them realize it was a loving coverup by parents who enjoyed their joy in believing. It is a wonderful story or it can be, of wishes, reward, love and gratitude. My brother and I were lucky to have family who understood this. I hope I passed those lessons on to our children. I think we were successful, they are good kids. The slobs who have children and then continue to think it is all about them are, let's say, limited. I hope their children will be able to rise above their upbringing. It can be done.

I’m tired of this woke friken culture changing everything that they disagree with!! Disagree all you want, celebrate or don’t, just quit enforcing your beliefs on others!! You don’t have to come to the party!! But don’t try to shut the party down either!!!!
