Detroit School Board Trying To Cancel
Dr. Ben Carson By Removing His Name From
A School

The Detroit school board is trying to remove Dr. Ben Carson’s name from a high school that was named in his honor. This is cancel culture. They are obviously going after Carson because he is a Republican who worked for the Trump administration. Dozens of people who worked with Carson are standing up for him now. They wrote a column for FOX News: We worked for Dr. Ben Carson. We know Dr. Ben Carson. Canceling him is just not right. Education is the gateway to opportunity. It’s the medicine that cures most ails, and it is the means by which we equip our next generations with the tools they need

Dr. Carson and Justice Thomas are prime examples of what one could become if more effort is put into learning and less time protesting, burning down businesses, and crying it's all whitey's fault after their life ends up in rundown neighborhoods living off government handouts. Go ahead and change the name of the school to some drug addict who died resisting arrest or some gang member who spent his life shooting people.

So let’s just stop naming things after people or building statues because some people have a hobby of finding something to complain about (as if they themselves are without flaws) and then tirelessly squawking about it. Even Saint George Floyd murals and statues will be seen as folly by sane people (some now, some in the future).

What a fine role model for the young men and women at that high school, and they want to take it away from them! The need to make everyone feel like a victim has to be exposed for what it is: a way of keeping others in check by making them feel less and taking away hope. Dr. Carson had some very good mentors - his mom for one - and others too, so he was made to believe in himself and look what he accomplished, and some people who are probably jealous of his accomplishments want him to disappear.

Around 20ish years ago I used to paint quite a few Boys and Girls Clubs in the Chicagoland area. We would do this work at night, when the kids and the staff would go home. One night in a Boys & Girls Club Library in Gary, Indiana I was browsing through the stacks - because I was curious. This was my first introduction to Dr Ben Carson because there were lots & lots of his book and they all look like they have been very well read. He was a role model in the African-American community. Those books were showing young teenage boys and girls a way of going about life and a way of improving oneself and those around them. During the Trump Administration I returned to the scene of the B&G Club library - ..... and there were no books authored by Dr Ben Carson and you know the rest.

Now if Carson had been a liberal they would never have come up with this attack on this decent man. Carson is or should be an inspiration to all young blacks in this nation as somebody who got an education and succeeded in his career. But no, this is another example of what Antifa was calling ''Skin folk, not kin folk'' so they don't feel guilt about this.
