The Guardian: Arctic Was 11-19C Warmer

The Guardian just reported the results of a study of 2 million-year-old DNA found in northern Greenland. Two-million-year-old DNA from northern Greenland has revealed that the region was once home to mastodons, lemmings and geese, offering unprecedented insights into how climate change can shape ecosystems. The breakthrough in ancient DNA analysis pushes back the DNA record by 1m years to a time when the Arctic region was 11-19C warmer than the present day. The analysis reveals that the northern peninsula of Greenland, now a polar desert, once featured boreal forests of poplar and birch trees teeming with wildlife. The work offers clues to how species might adapt,

Comments:

I’m surprised the Guardian reported this. They will get a reprimand from those who are seeking to rule the world by climate change panic.

The author sent this correction after I posted the article here: In my reflections this evening on a report in the Guardian about northern Greenland’s climate 2 million years ago, I made a significant error in my conversion of Celsius to Fahrenheit. Special thanks to reader D. Goldin, Ph.D. for quickly pointing out the correct conversion of 11-19C warmer is 20-34F warmer.

Reports such as this have been around for years. Ice samples taken from deep in Antartica ice revealed the same thing. The climate was a lot warmer millions of years ago. I don't recall if these results compensated for continental drift. The continents are constantly moving riding on tectonic plates. So, Greenland may have been farther south two million years ago. In any event, the climate changes all on its own. The problem with these green clowns, is that to them, climate change is all man's fault. Natural climate change doesn't exist.

Great article, totally backs up what I've been pointing out for years: 20,000 years ago the land upon which NYC and Chicago sits today was buried beneath a mile deep sheet of glacial ice. So what made that ice sheet melt and recede? SUVs? Aerosol spray cans? Farting cows? None of the above. The truth is that "climate change" is a naturally occurring event - the Earth freezes up then heats up in a never ending cycle, driven primarily by solar activity and the Earth's tectonics. This nonsense about "man-made climate change" is nothing but a ruse designed by some very bad people who use it as a vehicle with which to impose their desired socioeconomic (i,e, Marxist) policies..The truth is out there, as evidenced by this article. The question is whether the brain-dead Millennial automatons and their Boomer predecessors will open their eyes to that truth.

#s 10 and 16 do well to mention continental drift, though we need to bear in mind that the continents move no more than a couple of hundred miles in 2 Million years (probably closer to a hundred miles). The area of Greenland where these fossils are found was not close to the equator at that time.

And NONE of that climate change had anything whatsoever to do with human activity, since human's didn't exist. And yet, somehow, the climate just CHANGES, all by itself....for millions and millions of years, and has NOTHING to do with humans. We just react to these external changes and adapt. And the scammers keep trying to blame everything on humans, so they can get money and power. The scam started with the witch doctors tossing virgins into volcanoes.....after a couple of nights staying in the witch doc's hut, of course, and then shut them up about it forever. Scams for power and money, going on for centuries, and still there are so many fools who bite.

Saw this in my local paper today and laughed. Folks, it's not about warming or anything like that, their agenda is pollution, and how to clean up those emissions which happen to be GHG. Now, some actually believe it's about GW, or now climate change, but they likely believed everything Fauci said too. How many places have dry lake beds, hundreds or thousands, of miles from the Coast? Many are salt beds. Read recently the recent forest fire in Northern California spewed 20 years of CO2 into the air. They don't have that in their models. Nor, do they have the recent volcanic activity belching all sorts of things into the air.

A licensed psychtherapist who testified against laws banning so-called conversion therapy says he warned Americans about Sam Brinton, the non-binary Biden administration nuclear official who is facing charges for allegedly stealing two pieces of luggage at two separate airports. “My colleagues and I warned lawmakers in California and Massachusetts, and the LGBT activist groups which were sponsoring him, about Sam Brinton’s ever-changing story about abuse he allegedly underwent in therapy because of his LGBT attractions,” Dr. Joseph Nicolosi, Jr., the therapist and founder of the Reintegrative Therapy Association, said. “But nobody cared, so Brinton’s testimony about his alleged experience played a key role in banning legitimate practices across the nation.”

Rasmussen polled the American people with a simple four question survey and found that my polls were accurate and so was the V-safe data and so was the Israeli Ministry of Health safety report that nobody wants to see. The Rasmussen poll of 1,000 Americans found that: 32% were not vaccinated 7% of those surveyed had a major side effect. A 7% major side effect rate is unprecedented. We know from the V-safe data that this effectively means that the side effect was so bad, they had to seek medical attention. If any drug had that kind of safety profile, it would be immediately pulled from the market.

A principle of infectious diseases is “antimicrobial stewardship” which involves choosing the right antibiotic for the right patient and never over-prescribing or blanket covering patients who don’t need treatment. Another principle is “narrowing the spectrum” of a drug once the organism is identified by culture or other methods. These fundamental approaches to the use of antibiotics work to limit the problem of bacterial resistance and the development of “superbugs.” (Snip) This entire thought process has been thrown out the window for COVID-19 vaccines.
