Yesterday the Washington Post had a story about an elite Russian brigade and how it was gradually demolished over the course of the invasion of Ukraine. Last night the NY Times published a very lengthy and detailed story looking at the entire Russia war effort and how, thanks to Putin’s own arrogance, it became a nightmare for the soldiers sent there. The story opens on one brigade full of recently mobilized soldiers who’d been assured they would never be sent to fight on the front lines. Naturally, that was a lie.
Fumbling blindly through cratered farms, the troops from Russia’s 155th Naval Infantry Brigade had no maps, medical kits or

Yeah, I’m not sure announcing that you are trying to commit criminal extortion on national television is a smart move, but it’s a move Jack Sweeney made on Saturday evening. Sweeney is the ridiculous clown behind the “ElonJets” harassment campaign. The site bypasses privacy filters on the ADSB tracking of Elon Musk’s private jets in order to expose his location. That recently led to Musk’s son being attacked by what most believe to have been a member of Antifa.
While on CNN, Sweeney told the host (admittedly, I have no idea who he is and don’t care) that he would stop what he’s doing in exchange for $50,000

Japan on Friday laid the foundation for the country’s defense and security policies for years to come, signaling that Tokyo is now more ready than ever to shed some of the postwar constraints on its military. Prime Minister Fumio Kishida’s government passed revisions to three key security documents after months of debate, outlining a tough new stance in a region where China continues to flex its military muscle near Taiwan, North Korea’s nuclear and missile threats remain unceasing, and Russia’s bloody invasion of Ukraine has stoked fears that others in Asia could take a page from their playbook. Washington - A QAnon believer who chased U.S. Capitol Police Officer Eugene Goodman on Jan. 6, 2021, and apparently believed he was storming the White House was sentenced Friday to five years in prison.
A jury found Doug Jensen, of Iowa, guilty on seven counts, including felony charges of civil disorder and assaulting, resisting or impeding officers, in September. He was one of the first 10 rioters to enter the Capitol during the insurrection. "You were not a hero and not a patriot" on Jan. 6, Judge Timothy Kelly told Jensen as he read the sentence. "But you were not a monster either."
Jensen will additionally be on probation for three years

The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) was established earlier this year by a bipartisan coalition of members of Congress who are concerned by the technological capabilities demonstrated by unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). For years the Pentagon has been worried that the UAPs buzzing air force pilots and shadowing American naval vessels have a terrestrial origin, and some foreign power has made a fantastic leap ahead. There have been 144 such contacts between UAPs and the U.S. military from 2004 to 2021, 80 of which were captured by multiple sensors.

This isn’t the first time PJ Media has reported on the sad fates of the human beings trafficked into our country by cynical globalist-socialists, and it won’t be the last. Still, it’s particularly disheartening when minor children, placed in peril by the Biden administration’s extralegal immigration and national transformation machine, are taken advantage of. To its credit, Reuters has been conducting real journalistic investigations into the growing problem of illegal child labor at U.S. factories. The news outlet conducted hundreds of interviews and documented several cases of third-world labor abuse. On Friday, Reuters reported on underage illegal aliens staffing auto parts factories across Alabama and into Georgia.

Representative James Comer (R., Ky.), the incoming chairman of the House Oversight Committee, said Friday the FBI “needs to be dismantled” after the latest installment of the “Twitter files” revealed the bureau was in constant contact with Twitter before Elon Musk took over.
The FBI exchanged more than 150 emails with former Twitter Trust and Safety head Yoel Roth between January 2020 and November 2022, journalist Matt Taibbi reported on Friday. Roth’s team worked to censor the New York Post‘s October 2020 report on Hunter Biden’s laptop.

Twitter appears to be struggling.
Users are leaving in the platform in droves. Key advertisers are disappearing. And the bills are piling up.
Now, the company is setting its sights on new investors. According to a report from Semafor, Jared Birchall, the manager for Elon Musk's family office "reached out to potential investors this week."
Birchall is apparently offering shares of Twitter to investors for the price of $54.20 a piece, Semafor reported. That's the same price that Musk paid with his $44 billion takeover of the company in October.

One of Donald Trump's most loyal allies Steve Bannon shared his utter disbelief that the former president's 'major announcement' turned out to be a line of $99 digital trading cards - and has called for whoever came up with the idea to be fired.
The former White House Chief Strategist said Thursday: 'I can't do this anymore. He's one of the greatest presidents in history, but I gotta tell you: whoever – what business partner and anybody on the comms team and anybody at Mar-a-Lago – and I love the folks down there – but we're at war. They oughta be fired today.'

The National Institutes of Health is directing people to an absolutely absurd paper published in the journal Advances in Health Sciences Education. I have no idea how prominent the journal is, but I have a decent idea of the prominence of the NIH. A government agency under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, they essentially determine medical education in this country. The NIH actually invited these authors to lay out their theories of medical education.
The paper is scary as hell. Not quite Canadian medical murder scary, but very very scary nonetheless.
Why so frightening? Well, our NIH is promoting the idea that it is time to dump

Substack writer Matt Taibbi dropped his latest installment of the "Twitter Files" on Friday that detailed the FBI's ties with the tech giant.
"The #TwitterFiles are revealing more every day about how the government collects, analyzes, and flags your social media content. Twitter’s contact with the FBI was constant and pervasive, as if it were a subsidiary," Taibbi began the thread on Friday. "Between January 2020 and November 2022, there were over 150 emails between the FBI and former Twitter Trust and Safety chief Yoel Roth… a surprisingly high number are requests by the FBI for Twitter to take action on election misinformation, even involving joke tweets from low-follower accounts."
