Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) predicted on Thursday that leftist President Joe Biden’s decision to trade imprisoned basketball player Brittney Griner for notorious Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, known as the “merchant of death,” would result in people dying as rogue states interpreted the move as open season to arrest Americans. Cotton’s remarks came in an appearance on the SiriusXM Patriot program Breitbart News Daily hosted by Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow. Biden announced and the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed on Thursday that Griner and Bout were both free. “As a result of the efforts made, we managed to agree with the American side to arrange an exchange of Viktor Bout

also involved in the deal....Feds dropped the case against the Saudi's for the killing of Kashoggi(a name primordially famous because his uncle was another yuuuuuge international arms dealer) Most endangered? The numerous CIA deep undercover agents that set a global sting/trap that finally led to the capture of "The Merchant of Death", a multi Billionaire from raiding Russian arms depots and selling their contents to terror groups/drug and crime cartels worldwide...transported on Russian military planes.... he is the ONLY one that saw their faces, can identify them. Their lives are now forfeit, or they must be immediately returned to the USA and cease/abandon all other international anti terrorist ops. Meanwhile Biden is holding dozens in a gulag, threatening them with 40+ Years in prison...for taking selfies in the rotunda...which is a "Threat to global democracy"

It’s very possible that once Brittney Griner was caught entering Russia with a banned substance, a type of marihuana, that the diabolical Russians were able to put two and two together quickly, and come to the conclusion that Griner who fits within a number of gender, LGBTQI, and racial categories of Democrat identity politics could effectively be used as bait to entice the 101% politically “woke” Biden to deal with them to release Griner, in return for Biden releasing a real Russian convicted criminal Victor Bout from a U.S. prison, who through criminal activities all over the world has made millions for Putin and other bigwigs in Russia. Once Biden showed his hand is maybe even why the Russians sentenced Griner to nine years in a Russian gulag rather then just kick her out of Russia. If you have been paying attention you should know that the 101% political Biden and his “woke” crew would go gangbusters to obtain the release of an American who fits within a number of categories in Democrat identity politics, by taking actions that they would not similarly take to get a White guy ex-US Marine released from Russian custody. The Russians and others now know that if they pick off an American who fits within the gender, LGBTQI, racial or other categories of Democrat identity politics that the “woke” Biden is likely to come around to future prisoner exchanges.

Joe Biden doesn’t care who dies or how many die because of the arms dealer’s release in an exchange for the black, lesbian, America hating Brittany Griner. She’s got all the proper minority boxes checked and is therefore a VIP. Van Jones called Griner an icon. I’d never heard of her until she was a Russian prisoner. And I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one.

Elon Musk’s Twitter exposé keeps getting crazier and even more infuriating as his team continues to divulge the inner workings of the company before he took over. On Friday, the third chapter of the Twitter Files dropped. It detailed how the previous leadership decided to suppress and later ban former President Donald Trump. But one of the revelations that was particularly intriguing was how the company handled tweets coming from Joe Biden in contrast to its treatment of Trump. According to journalist Matt Taibbi, the difference was pretty stark. He noted that “there are multiple instances of involving pro-Biden tweets warning Trump ‘may try to steal

After blowing smoke about the condition of Biden’s economy, many news outlets are suffering losses. On Thursday, close to 1,100 New York Times workers staged a strike, of sorts. The effort appears rather neutered considering it was only a 24-hour walkout, and the desperation was evident as they attempted to get readers to also join in by not consuming any Times content for the day. (Their position was further weakened as they realized the biggest challenge in this attempt was not concerning their work but in getting people to stop playing Wordle!) A federal court on Friday blocked a Biden administration mandate that would force religious hospitals and doctors to facilitate gender transitions against their sincerely held moral convictions. The Eighth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals affirmed a lower court’s decision to block enforcement of the rule on the grounds that “intrusion upon the Catholic Plaintiffs’ exercise of religion is sufficient to show irreparable harm,” the filing reads. Catholic nuns, clinics, a university, and hospitals were among the plaintiffs in the case, represented by the Becket Fund. The plaintiffs all provide medical care for transgender patients but refuse to provide gender-transition surgeries

Why Does the GOP Elite Hate Its Own Base? 30 replies

It is one of the most bitter and tragic ironies of our contemporary politics that the leadership of one of America’s two major political parties, the Republican Party, utterly despises that party’s very own voting base. The GOP elite’s scorn for its own voters has, at this point, been a long time in the making. The trend accelerated during the 2009-2011 rise of the Tea Party, a grassroots movement fueled by constitutionalism and anti-elite populism. The crustier elements of the Republican establishment ran as far away as possible from the Tea Party, and the 2012 presidential coronation of private equity plutocrat Mitt Romney effectively killed the movement.
Does Trump Really Want To Be President Again? 30 replies

Team Trump has sometimes compared former President Donald Trump's current quest for a non-sequential second term to two-term President Grover Cleveland's similar three election bids. Cleveland remains our only elected president (1884) to have lost a reelection bid (1888) -- in a disputed vote -- only to be reelected four years later in 1892. Yet Trump seems determined instead to follow a different, and bullheaded, Teddy Roosevelt model. Roosevelt left the presidency in 1908, sat out four years, and then lost a reelection bid in 1912, split and alienated the Republican Party, and ensured the election of the progressive Woodrow Wilson.

The Georgia runoff is over. Raphael Warnock came out on top (as expected). And Republicans are once again running the “quality candidate” canard as the reason for Herschel Walker’s loss (in addition to the overblown, overused, Trump scapegoat). Yet despite the fact Walker was outspent by Warnock nearly 3 to 1 (Warnock spent $126,232,942 to Walker’s $48,455,356), Walker performed remarkably well, netting 48.6 percent of the vote to Warnock’s 51.4 percent. This as Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp only came out in full force for Walker after he coasted to reelection in November (loaning his field organizing team to the Senate Leadership Fund — the GOP’s Senate super PAC which backed Walker).
