First on Fox: Democratic leadership on the House Oversight and Reform Committee abruptly canceled an upcoming hearing to investigate the spread of "climate disinformation" on social media platforms. On Nov. 18, Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., chairman of the Oversight Subcommittee on Environment, wrote letters to four social media executives asking them to attend the hearing that had been slated for Dec. 14, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital. Khanna invited new Twitter CEO Elon Musk, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and executives of TikTok and YouTube to testify. Committee Democrats blamed the hearing cancellation Thursday on a miscommunication.

Miscommunication between the tech-executives and their brains telling themselves they were not afraid to debate Elon because he would make them look like fools. Annoying ad from Fox in their own media that does nothing but show their ignorance. No 'X' to close it. Trying to get through Fox segments on TV these days forces one to mute through some of the most annoying and repetitive ads in existence. I hope they wise up.

Twitter owner Elon Musk is going scorched-earth on the company’s former head of Trust & Safety, Yoel Roth. On Saturday, Musk responded to the resurfacing of this 2010 tweet from Roth linking to a Salon article asking if high school students can “meaningfully” consent to sex with their teachers. That the question even needs to be asked tells you a lot about the mindset of the man who, until recently, headed up Twitter’s Ministry of Truth — the same company that banned the use of the word “groomer” in July. Musk replied with a bombshell quote from Roth’s Ph.D. thesis — which was focused on the gay hook-up platform Grindr.

A Libyan man accused of making the bomb that killed hundreds of people on Pan Am flight 103 over Lockerbie, Scotland, in 1988 is now in U.S. custody, Scottish and American officials said Sunday. Abu Agila Mohammad Mas’ud Kheir Al-Marimi was charged two years ago for his alleged involvement in the bombing that killed all 259 people aboard the flight from London to New York and 11 people on the ground. “No amount of time or distance will stop the United States and our Scottish partners from pursuing justice in this case,” then-U.S. Attorney General William Barr said in 2020 when the U.S. unsealed the charges.

The third installment of the “Twitter files” gave us some of what we were looking for in terms of government involvement in censoring free speech, though many questions remain. Tonight, close on the heels of the last data dump, Michael Shellenberger unleashed the fourth chapter in the story. This edition also focused on the decision-making process that led to the President of the United States being banned. At least in the early revelations, Schellenberger winds up offering more cover for Jack Dorsey and focusing the blame on the covert actions of Yoel Roth. There are also indications that Twitter was paying far more attention to the “big names”

You probably don’t remember her name, but you remember why she is famous: Rebekah Jones was the Florida Department of Health employee who rose to Left-wing stardom for attacking Governor Ron DeSantis for his COVID policies. She was fired from the Florida Department of Health for insubordination and spent almost two years claiming it was because she was a whistleblower fighting DeSantis’ fraudulent COVID-19 reporting practices and his ineffective policies. Well, on Friday she admitted to being a criminal. She hijacked the Florida Department of Health’s computer system, lied about it, and stole data from the system. She was a fraud and a liar. Jones became a hero to the Left

The latest installment of the Twitter Files reveals that the censorship-loving leftists running the show before Elon Musk took over the platform used tech tools to suppress content posted by Breitbart News after adding a “bot” to the official Breitbart News Twitter account. As journalist Matt Taibbi explains, “The bot ends up becoming an automated tool invisibly watching both Trump and, apparently, Breitbart.” Part three of the Twitter Files, released through journalist Matt Taibbi on Friday night, focused on the company’s unprecedented decision to blacklist former President Donald Trump’s account on January 8, 2021.

Lusail, Qatar — Grant Wahl, one of the most well-known soccer writers in the United States, died early Saturday while covering the World Cup match between Argentina and the Netherlands. U.S. media seated near him said Wahl fell back in his seat in the media tribune at Lusail Iconic Stadium during extra time and reporters adjacent to him called for assistance. Emergency services workers responded very quickly, the reporters said, and the reporters later were told that Wahl had died. Wahl tweeted on Wednesday that he had celebrated his birthday that day. American reporters who knew Wahl said he was 49.

Elon Musk’s Twitter exposé keeps getting crazier and even more infuriating as his team continues to divulge the inner workings of the company before he took over. On Friday, the third chapter of the Twitter Files dropped. It detailed how the previous leadership decided to suppress and later ban former President Donald Trump. But one of the revelations that was particularly intriguing was how the company handled tweets coming from Joe Biden in contrast to its treatment of Trump. According to journalist Matt Taibbi, the difference was pretty stark. He noted that “there are multiple instances of involving pro-Biden tweets warning Trump ‘may try to steal

Elon dropped another tantalizing tidbit about election interference and who else might have been blacklisted. He was asked if any candidate running for election had been shadowbanned.

After blowing smoke about the condition of Biden’s economy, many news outlets are suffering losses. On Thursday, close to 1,100 New York Times workers staged a strike, of sorts. The effort appears rather neutered considering it was only a 24-hour walkout, and the desperation was evident as they attempted to get readers to also join in by not consuming any Times content for the day. (Their position was further weakened as they realized the biggest challenge in this attempt was not concerning their work but in getting people to stop playing Wordle!) This barely recognized quit-snit was possibly met with shrugs based on one of the core complaints

A federal court on Friday blocked a Biden administration mandate that would force religious hospitals and doctors to facilitate gender transitions against their sincerely held moral convictions. The Eighth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals affirmed a lower court’s decision to block enforcement of the rule on the grounds that “intrusion upon the Catholic Plaintiffs’ exercise of religion is sufficient to show irreparable harm,” the filing reads. Catholic nuns, clinics, a university, and hospitals were among the plaintiffs in the case, represented by the Becket Fund. The plaintiffs all provide medical care for transgender patients but refuse to provide gender-transition surgeries

The Guardian just reported the results of a study of 2 million-year-old DNA found in northern Greenland. Two-million-year-old DNA from northern Greenland has revealed that the region was once home to mastodons, lemmings and geese, offering unprecedented insights into how climate change can shape ecosystems. The breakthrough in ancient DNA analysis pushes back the DNA record by 1m years to a time when the Arctic region was 11-19C warmer than the present day. The analysis reveals that the northern peninsula of Greenland, now a polar desert, once featured boreal forests of poplar and birch trees teeming with wildlife. The work offers clues to how species might adapt,
