Before I get into this, I just want to say that all of this is coming from anonymous sources. Neither the White House nor the CIA has commented on it, and I can't independently confirm it. More often than not, anonymously sourced MSM articles on Venezuela and Cuba tend to be false or only have bits of truth sprinkled in, but I felt this topic was worth a mention as we watch the Donald Trump administration work toward a free Cuba. The repatriation of illegal aliens from the United States to wherever they came from is still ongoing, and it seems to be picking up. In July, reports indicate that Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrests broke all previous records: 51,000. Bear in mind that this number also includes people arrested for interfering with ICE operations. Color me skeptical on that last item, especially coming as it does from a nameless immigration attorney.
Here's the interesting part: At least one ally of President Trump on this issue is calling for a change in focus.

That canned answer is quite revealing when one considers the interview DSA co-chair Megan Romer did with Fox News in late July, where the extremist DSA platform was laid bare for all to see: support for abolishing the presidency, the Senate, prisons, borders, the Supreme Court. And that's just for starters. Another DSA co-chair, Ashik Siddique, admitted in a different interview that "our goal is communism."

Republican US Senator Darline Graham (R-SC) came out in favor of nuking the filibuster to get the SAVE Act passed.
Graham, the sister of former Senator Lindsey Graham, came out in support of the SAVE Act and says she is in favor of eliminating the senate filibuster to get it to pass. Darline made the comments during the South Carolina Republican US Senate debate.
Graham added that Democrats will abolish the filibuster if they take control of the US Senate anyway.

Baked goods, hot meals, sliced meats and fresh salads, and the best donuts you ever tasted made from scratch every day — it was a kid’s paradise. New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s socialist dream of government-run grocery stores is off to a bad start. He’s already had to admit that customers will have to carry proof of residency to shop in them, that private companies — not the city — will run the stores, and that the first one won’t open for more than a year, and others not for three years.
But Mamdani’s likely to face an even bigger problem if no legitimate grocer wants to get into bed with him.

Socialists have won one Democratic primary after another this year. Of course, Democratic primary voters represent a thin slice, the leftward-most portion, of our electorate. Still, socialism as a viable popular movement in the United States represents a radical departure from our history. How wide is the appeal of socialism, really?
Rasmussen headlines “Voters Overwhelmingly Reject DSA Policies,” and its findings are interesting. But while the Rasmussen survey tests four policies being advocated by the Democratic Socialists of America, socialism is not one of them. And I don’t find the results to be particularly reassuring:
