The prevailing talking point among the Democrat establishment in recent weeks, in response to the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) insurgency taking place, has been to tout the supposed "big tent" nature of the party, where all kinds of differing viewpoints are allegedly welcome. That canned answer is quite revealing when one considers the interview DSA co-chair Megan Romer did with Fox News in late July, where the extremist DSA platform was laid bare for all to see: support for abolishing the presidency, the Senate, prisons, borders, the Supreme Court. And that's just for starters. Another DSA co-chair, Ashik Siddique, admitted in a different interview that "our goal is communism."

New York City's socialist bad boy mayor Zohran Mamdani just made his latest move against the city's business leaders — and this time, he hit the leadership of Gracie Mansion's own Mayor’s Fund Board of Advisors. Plus, I have the latest news on Mamdani's incredibly wrong-headed plan for city-owned grocery stores in today's double-header of socialist stupidity. The New York Post reported early Tuesday that Mamdani "axed the advisors of a major nonprofit that channels private sector donations to fund city initiatives in his latest hostile act toward New York business leaders."
Also, according to the Post, the board has "raised hundreds of millions since its 1995 inception –

Intrepid investigative journalist Nick Shirley isn't one to shrink from danger. He had to escape from Cuba when spies followed him during his trip to the communist island and was forced to hire 24/7 security after exposing Somali fraud in Minneapolis. In his latest video, Shirley once again finds himself in serious peril when a Muslim man chases him through the streets while wielding a knife and threatening to stab him. The scene of the pursuit was the Spanish North African enclave of Ceuta, which has made headlines in recent days after 60,000 illegal migrants poured in from Morocco.

Republican US Senator Darline Graham (R-SC) came out in favor of nuking the filibuster to get the SAVE Act passed.
Graham, the sister of former Senator Lindsey Graham, came out in support of the SAVE Act and says she is in favor of eliminating the senate filibuster to get it to pass. Darline made the comments during the South Carolina Republican US Senate debate.
Graham added that Democrats will abolish the filibuster if they take control of the US Senate anyway.
What a breath of fresh air.

This past weekend, Russia’s main domestic security agency, the FSB, announced that Telegram founder Pavel Durov has been charged with aiding terrorism and put on an international wanted list.
CBS News reported: The charges against Durov, who was born and began his career in Russia but later moved abroad, came as the Russian authorities restrict Telegram, one of the most popular messaging apps in the country – […] Soon after the charges were announced, Telegram’s official account on X posted an image of Durov making an obscene gesture with his middle finger. There was no other immediate comment from Durov or Telegram.”

NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers came out of the gates slinging darts on The Pat McAfee Show on Monday.
When the ESPN host invited the firebrand on the show, he may not have expected the legendary football player to unleash a rant for the ages on Dr. Anthony Fauci. McAfee opened up his line of questioning about a potential retirement, but Rodgers seized the opportunity to bash the disgraced doctor. "I’m gonna plead the Fifth," Rodgers quipped, "like that absolute coward Tony Fauci. Absolute coward. Are you kidding me? You get a pardon, and you pleaded over 100 times at the White House?

Some of my earliest memories are from a grocery store.
My mother, and later her sister, worked at a locally owned Key Market running the deli department. Baked goods, hot meals, sliced meats and fresh salads, and the best donuts you ever tasted made from scratch every day — it was a kid’s paradise. She would sometimes take me to work on Saturdays, and I’d help, doing everything but slicing the meat (age-restricted because it’s dangerous). It was fun for me, and I learned things I would not have learned watching cartoons.

People tend to assume history moves in a straight line. Atrocities like genocide and slavery are confined to the distant past as progress marches permanently forward.
But that simply cannot be the case. “The line separating good and evil passes … through all human hearts,” as Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn reminds us.
The battle for justice is ever ongoing: replete with setbacks, contradictions, and disappointments. Human beings are never beyond acts of evil, and so regimes are never unfailingly noble.
Americans are often guilty of progressive assumptions when it comes to our own story.

A recent poll out of Texas showed Democrat U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico with a two-point advantage over his opponent, Republican state Attorney General Ken Paxton. The independent Wedgewood Polls surveyed 800 likely voters on Thursday and Friday, and the results showed Talarico at 48 percent while Paxton was at 46 percent:

Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., revealed he plans to introduce articles of impeachment against a judge on Monday.
“SCOTUS made it very clear that lower courts cannot suspend TPS. Yet, an Obama-appointed judge is defying the Court and the Constitution in an attempt to subvert the will of the President," Ogles said in a statement provided to Just the News.
"This judicial activist’s obstruction of the people’s will must be stopped. Judge Burroughs must be impeached," he added.
Ogles wrote on X that U.S. District Judge Allison Burroughs' decision to block Trump from ending Temporary Protected Status for Somalis was unconstitutional.

Trump's remarks were seen as a rebuke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is — quite rightly — opposed to F-35 sales to Turkey on the grounds that it could ultimately prove a direct threat to Israel's security, as well as to Cyprus and Greece, which Erdogan has repeatedly threatened.
Turkey was suspended from the multinational F-35 program during Trump's first term in 2019, after acquiring Russia's S-400 air defence system. The purchase of the S-400 also prompted US sanctions against Turkey's defence industry, imposed in 2020.
Although Turkey tested the S-400 following its delivery and has not returned it to Russia,

At the end of May, the New York State Assembly introduced Assembly Bill A11509. The proposal would permanently prohibit anyone born after December 31, 2007, from purchasing tobacco or nicotine products for the rest of their lives.
In practice, the State is claiming permanent ownership over the autonomy of part of its population. It is deciding today that these individuals will never be considered capable of making their own choices. The distinction it creates is not based on any assessment of individual responsibility or capacity. It rests solely on an arbitrary date of birth.
