Will Illegal Immigration Be The Death
Of Europe?

Original Article

Given the unchecked flood of illegal immigration now taking place across the European continent and Britain, the headline above asks a valid question: Will Europe in the future exist only as a territory, but not as a civilization and a culture? Spain is the latest flashpoint in Europe’s battle to maintain control over its borders. Last week’s stunning border break in Ceuta, a North African enclave that has been part of Spain for over 400 years, should be a wake-up call for all of Europe and the U.S., too. More than 60,000 migrants crossed en masse, with at least 57 dying in the violent chaos of breaking through the border and swimming

Immigration idiocy is not new. France for decades allowed Islamic, Mid-eastern, and Africa immigrants to enter but failed to require assimilation. The concept that all cultures are equal is dangerously idiotic and even France's behavior put lie to that philosophy because it forced most of these refugees into ghettos much like Somalis being concentrated into Minneapolis. These are now legal residents and outbreeding those who opened the doors much too widely.

Surely Issues & Insights is aware that the United States has been invaded by far more illegals than have ever entered Europe. Estimates of the number of illegals here are as high as 50 million, which is more than the population of Spain. In addition to illegals this country legally imports one million foreigners per year. Zohran Mamdani, Abdul El-Sayed, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Talib, among many others, are offspring or legal immigrants who hate this country and want to destroy it. Issues & Insights should worry more about our country’s native replacement agenda rather than Europe’s pathetic copying of our bad ideas

I&I/TIPP Poll

Early this summer, President Donald Trump eked out marginal gains in voters’ perceptions of his presidential performance. But in August, those gains weren’t repeated. Trump’s favorability among voters remained flat, even as the Iran war flared once again, pushing global energy prices higher. Each month, the national online I&I/TIPP Poll asks American voters to assess presidential performance, starting with: “Overall, is your opinion of Donald Trump generally favorable, generally unfavorable, or are you not familiar enough to say one way or the other?” In August’s poll, 39% held a “favorable” opinion of Trump’s time in office, versus a slim majority

We had to look twice at this headline in the New York Times to believe it. “In Trump’s Economy, Job Gains Go to Women. That’s Not an Entirely Good Thing.” Huh? Is the Times complaining that men are being shut out of the workforce? Maybe the subhead will clear things up? Nope. It says “Despite the administration’s best attempts, the diminishing status of many American jobs is driving a spike in women’s employment.” “Best attempts”? At what? Driving down women’s employment? Is that really something the Trump administration has been putting its “best efforts” to achieve?
A Modest Proposal To Tackle Government Fraud 10 replies

Every day, it seems, brings a new story of government fraud, which raises two questions: Why is fraud so rampant? And why is so little being done to combat it? An answer to both can be found in the more than 200 programs that the federal government pays for, but the states run. These are programs that spend a total of $1.2 trillion a year, and despite their openness to fraud, the government does little to combat it. The money to fund these programs passes through several hands, including state and local government agencies, private contractors, and so on, before reaching a beneficiary. And “every level added to the flow of funds

Feasibility studies for a high-speed rail project began in 2006. By 2018, the first section was completed and opened, seven years after construction was started. Where is this bullet train? Not in California. It’s in Morocco. California voters approved in 2008 a ballot measure for a “safe, convenient, affordable, and reliable alternative to driving and high gas prices” by a 53%-47% margin. Golden Staters were sold a train that would require a $10 billion bond and cost $33 billion to complete. Within a dozen years it would be ripping up and down the state at 220 mph, ferrying passengers between San Diego and Sacramento.

A Fox News poll finds that a majority of Democrats say they have a favorable view of the Democratic Socialists of America. But our I&I/TIPP Poll found that Democrats reject – sometimes overwhelmingly – key DSA policy proposals. What explains the gap? The Fox Poll also found that 52% of Democrats have a favorable view of socialism, compared with 11% of Republicans and 17% of independents. Support for the Democratic Socialists of America is even stronger, with 59% of Democrats expressing a favorable view, compared with 6% of Republicans. As NBC News remarked, “step outside the Democratic Party,

One year ago, the International Court of Justice in The Hague declared that all nations are obligated to protect the sky from greenhouse gas emissions. It’s unfortunate, but climate zealotry stubbornly hangs on. The global warming cabal, which is less concerned with climate than abolishing capitalism and advancing their cult, has been showing cracks in recent years. A little more than a year ago, we noted that “our friend Steven Hayward,” a university professor and incisive thinker, had written “a compelling essay … about ‘The Nadir of the Climate Change Movement.'”

The Odyssey” is taking hits from conservatives, rightly so, for its “woke” casting. Some of director Christopher Nolan’s choices are indeed odd and distracting. (Why does the Bard look like a Rastafarian?) But it’s leftists who should be even more upset about the people chosen for key roles. Sure, the movie checks all the diversity boxes, which, according to our friends at Unleash Prosperity, is mandatory if you want your film to be considered for Best Picture in today’s leftist-controlled Hollywood. So, Nolan appeased the left’s diversity gods with a cast that, according to one count, is 50% white, 24% Latino and Hispanic, 12% black, and 9%

The Federal Communications Commission is wasting no time unleashing the spectrum made available by President Donald Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Chairman Brendan Carr announced that the agency is preparing to auction 160 megahertz of Upper C-Band spectrum, one of the largest blocks of mid-band spectrum ever brought to market, and he’s doing it faster than anyone expected. SpaceX’s IPO in June was the largest in history. The stock initially surged after its debut, reaching a high of more than $225 per share, but has since fallen below its $135 IPO price. From its peak, the stock has now lost about 42%. Rocket Lab, after an extraordinary rally over the past two years, has suffered sharp pullbacks of more than 30%. Planet Labs tells a similar story: spectacular gains followed by painful corrections. To many investors, the conclusion seems obvious: another bubble. But the real question is not whether commercial space contains speculative excess.

Gov. Abigail Spanberger, D-Va., announced that she has restored voting rights to 66,085 Virginians who had prior felony convictions. Virginia’s constitution doesn't allow convicted felons to vote after serving their sentences unless a governor restores their voting rights. “I’m proud that — after contending with my predecessor’s efforts to deny Virginians their fundamental rights — we have restored the rights of more than 66,000 Virginians who have served their time,” Spanberger said in a statement. “These Virginians deserve the right to use their vote, make their voices heard, and be recognized as contributing citizens to our Commonwealth and country.”

Old habits die hard. At least that is the case for our Supreme Court’s Justice Neil Gorsuch, who persists in repeating the erroneous narrative that America was founded as religiously neutral. In a July 24th interview with PBS’ Margaret Hoover, Gorsuch gave his interpretation of the American founding, denying America was founded as a Christian nation: “We were never supposed to be a nation that was about one race or one religion … It was about those ideas [in the Declaration of Independence] … We have a First Amendment, for crying out loud. As the midterms loom, the commentariat is confidently predicting that the Republican House majority is all but doomed. Something like 80% of Americans oppose allowing men to play in women’s sports leagues. That is, after all, the entire point of having women’s divisions and leagues–women play against other women, not against men. For a sports organization like the Women’s National Basketball Association to come out in favor of allowing men (“trans women”) to play in their league is the height of perversity. If men could play in the WNBA, there soon would be no women left and no purpose to the league. And yet, multiple WNBA coaches and others associated with the league have come out in favor of letting men play. I can think of no reason
