Donald Trump’s ex-wife Marla Maples revealed in a rare interview that she’s willing to help the former president’s 2024 campaign — and is even “open” to being his vice president. “I’m ready. I am available if needed and I’m not sitting back anymore,” Maples, who just turned 60, told the Evening Standard in her first interview in eight years. “I want to step out more, share more and not be afraid of positive or negative outcomes that come from speaking out,” she added. Maples, who shares daughter Tiffany Trump with the former commander-in-chief, said her willingness to help Trump’s second White House bid has not been affected by her ex-husband’s legal troubles.

It seems that the drama between DT and MM has become ancient history, particularly evident at the wedding of their daughter. I'm all for peace in a family, and give both parties credit for, at the very least, behaving like mature adults going forward. Theirs is not the only divorce in Camp Trump, and the children are from various marriages, yet it seems all are accepting, hold together as a family, and keep private whatever issues there may be. I hope Marla holds to that standard and is sincere in her choices.

60? Wow. Time does fly indeed. Marla is from my area and I recall the media running ads in our local paper when she hooked up with DJT offering money for information (dirt) on her. Some things change but the venality of a lot of our "journalists" never does...

Why is anyone suggesting that Marla is dumb? When her daughter Tiffany started law school her siblings told the media that she was the smartest of them all. Unless she got all her smart genes from her father, an unlikely thing, that speaks to good brains in her mother as well as good upbringing. I am impressed too by the civilized relationships Trump has had with his ex-wives and his kids with each other. It's the other end of the spectrum from Biden's shocking mess of a family.

No matter its stated reasons, no matter how misguided its policy, the United States administration, advised by its historically anti-Israel Department of State, is putting severe pressure on Israel to stop fighting Hamas in Gaza, without permitting it first to achieve its war aim of complete destruction of this threat to its existence. They are doing it without regard for the consequences to Israel, its population, and to the Western world. Given the arrogance of the Biden administration’s dictating a suicidal wartime policy to an allied government which must answer to its own people,

July 12, 1979, is a date that lives in baseball infamy. It is also a turning point in modern music history. That the two converged on the ball field on the Southwest side of Chicago is strange indeed. When you think of landmarks in pop music, the now-demolished Comiskey Park, home of the Chicago White Sox, doesn't come quickly to mind. But could the "happening" on that day give us a window into one of the strangest cultural oddities of our day, Trump Derangement Syndrome?

Former first lady Melania Trump will attend the Republican National Convention next week in Milwaukee, according to two people familiar with her plans who spoke Friday on condition of anonymity before full details were released. Melania Trump has largely refrained from public appearances, noticeably missing key moments such as former President Donald Trump’s Super Tuesday victory party and his 78th birthday party last month. She also did not accompany the presumptive Republican presidential nominee on any of the days of his more than monthlong hush money trial in New York.

A House Democrat directly asked President Biden to end his campaign for a second term on a Friday conference call meant to shore up support among Hispanic party members in Congress — the most direct known request by an elected lawmaker for the 81-year-old to give up his re-election bid. The request by Rep. Mike Levin (D-Calif.) prompted call organizer Rep. Linda Sánchez (D-Calif.) to rapidly end the Zoom meeting, after she had already ignored a request to speak from Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-Wash.), the Albritton Journalism Institute reported. Perez, 36, has asked Biden to resign as president in addition to handing off the nomination.

Speculation is swirling around President Biden’s political fate — and over who might replace him on the Democratic ticket this fall should he decide to drop out of the race. Biden has insisted he’s in it to win it, and Vice President Harris would have the inside track on becoming the party’s standard-bearer, but Democratic concerns are growing that his candidacy could cost them the White House and House majority this fall. Though a highly anticipated Thursday evening press conference after the NATO summit in Washington, D.C., was seen as a better performance for Biden than in recent weeks, the president still stumbled at several points with multiple notable gaffes.

The controversial news boss, who was named president just last August, is exiting after she made headlines in February over the firing of Catherine Herridge, a respected senior investigative reporter who had been doggedly covering the Hunter Biden laptop story for the network. At the time, media insiders speculated that Herridge’s exit was linked to her reporting that President Biden may have kept evidence that he had foreign business dealings while in office.

"Each one hopes that if he feeds the crocodile enough, the crocodile will eat him last," is how Winston Churchill, just months away from becoming Britain's wartime Prime Minister, described the appeasement that led to World War II. "All of them hope that the storm will pass before their turn comes to be devoured. "The same could be said of France's snap election, in which everyone from French Stalinists to the country's business interests banded together to defeat the country's "far right" at the polls. The last embedded myth about Joe Biden is that he’s a decent man. Like the rest of his life’s story, his “decency” is a made-up contrivance. Biden has a habit of abusing the dead to his own end. Biden’s first wife Neilia and infant daughter died in a car crash. Neilia Biden was holding their daughter while driving. The accident was entirely her fault. She had a stop sign that she either blew through or didn’t check left and right before proceeding. The Biden car was broadsided by a truck driven by Curtis Dunn. The COVID shot was put on trial in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and coming from California the result might surprise you. Three of four judges agree it was never a “traditional vaccine” and therefore could not legally be mandated. The case was against the Los Angeles Unified School District (“LAUSD”) that “required employees to get the COVID-19 vaccination or lose their jobs.” While this case was making its way thru the courts, LAUSD was playing Hokey-Pokey with their policy on “vaccination” which didn’t play well in their litigation strategy, as it allowed the case to be kept alive rather than becoming moot.

Biden wasn’t ever going to draw a crowd like Trump, so masking up and hanging out in front of his big screen was an easy dodge.
