I’m glad I waited before sharing the following analysis because I’m not as concerned today as I was when I originally read the Guardian article. Yesterday, The Guardian reported that Donald Trump Jr would be introducing the VP nominee at the RNC convention. According to them, that could indicate a strong likelihood of JD Vance as the nominee. That would be horrible. [Snip] ...what’s really happening is that Don Jr’s speech and intro is really just talking before the VP nominee makes his/her remarks. The VP will be announced days before the convention itself; [Snip] Maybe not JD Vance, and that’s a good thing.

Presupposing DJT wins this election, it is abundantly obvious that the swamp he couldn't drain in four years, still can't be drained in four years, even with enhanced immunity. The swamp is far deeper than DJT ever suspected. It will take at the very least three terms to restructure our government. Then, the next terms after that must adhere to keeping the swamp clear.
Highly unlikely. Politicians are scum.
The VP that DJT selects MUST be a charismatic leader who can win the next two elections hands down. He must be strong, honest, and courageous
Of all the people in the entourage with DJT, I am thinking that Ben Carson might be the best choice.
He is a world class surgeon.
He cuts directly to the heart of any matter.
His scalpel is direct honesty.
He can cut the disingenuous to itsy bits before they know they're bleeding.
I believe he has a healthy scepticism and doesn't accept fools at all.
I believe him to be courageous.
I could vote for him as president in the unlikely event in live that long.
The real question is will the IC allow the good guys to live? Or will they Kennedy the honest and talented?

No ione ahould sail by rhis without reading it. SD gives solid reasons for his rejection of the current Big 3. Reply after reading is the traditional Lucianne Way. She knwq how important that was to our country's wellbeing.

The one thing of which I’m certain is that God knows all, & He is in control in the affairs of men. That doesn’t mean that we aren’t allowed free will. But, it does mean that He hears the prayers of those who do right in His sight, and keeps us in His providential care. He is willing to guide US, if we are willing to seek Him. We need to be in fervent prayer to Him, for forgiveness, mercy, guidance & protection. He knows the end before the beginning, and we need Him now more than ever, to bless every decision to put exactly the right people in every position of governance to help restore US to our Founding principles and save our Constitutional Republic. He is the Only Way we make it successfully through this evil. May we heed 2 Chronicles 7:14.

with the small majority in the house and the close but winnable senate, I think Trump should avoid sitting senators, anyone in the house as vp. Get the majorities in both houses which will help the president put his programs in play.

While I certainly like Ben Carson, I'm not convinced he would win in a presidential campaign. Who knows, though. Things could certainly change a great deal in 4 years

17 “‘The decision is announced by messengers, the holy ones declare the verdict, so that the living may know that the Most High is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and gives them to anyone he wishes and sets over them the lowliest of people.’ Book of Daniel 4:17. God put them in power and He takes them down as well.

Regardless of who PDJT selects for VP, I just wish Don Jr. would take a back seat. I'm not a fan, and don't really think his presence particularly helps his father.

The surprise VP choice by President Trump will be - - Eric Swalwell.
Yes - - THAT Eric Swalwell - - the one who has been pretending to be a demonrat chicom dupe. Eric has been using his cover to gather devastating intelligence about the inner workings of the demonrat elite and the deep state. He has done a fabulous job of duping all the evil leftists - - and President Trump will reward his performance and loyalty with the VP slot.

Practical politics and all the criteria outlined by #1 (except the surgeon part) point to DeSantis. But I think it will be Rubio. With Trump registering from Florida how they will manage it remains a mystery.

Despite shooting Old Yeller, Kristi Noem would be the best choice for VP. She's an executive who will go for the political jugular if she must.

Yes, I read every word, even though I couldn't help but be put off by at least 20 "I" words and statements, including a run of "I said..." or "Remember when I said..." It appears that the author's support for Trump is conditioned to him making decisions that comport with the author's theories and preferences.

In complete agreement with Sundance--none of the three, please. There is one individual who served at a high level in the Trump administration with superb credentials and worthy of serious consideration as Vice President. If he is chosen, he would be a tremendous asset to President Trump in a second administration. Purposefully withholding his name to preclude possible adversarial attacks against him.
