A new documentary makes the case that President Abraham Lincoln was gay. Called “Lover of Men: The Untold History of Abraham Lincoln,” the film project claims to detail “Lincoln’s romantic relationships with men” by utilizing “preeminent Lincoln scholars and never before seen photographs and letters,” according to promotional copy obtained by the New York Post. “Lincoln probably slept in the same bed with more men than he did with women,” one expert in the film remarked, according to the Post. Many of the historians interviewed work at Ivy League and small liberal arts colleges, including Harvard, Columbia, Brown, and Wellesley.

Militant gays aren't getting the attention they crave anymore. It's all trans all the time now. Gays have become sooo 20th century. Abe was a traveling lawyer, on the road a lot in the 1840s-50s. Inns of the day put as many men (women didn't travel without a husband or family) as they could in a bed. Abe and Mary Todd had four sons. What's next Mary was an adulteress?

Being outside that community, my observations tell me that gay men prefer other good-looking gay men. Lincoln does not fit that description.

One of the precursors to communism taking over is to destroy history. We've sure been seeing a lot of that in recent years. Lincoln was a lot of things, many of them bad. I do not worship him as a god as many do. Still, he probably wasn't gay. If he had been it would have been shoved down our throats by now. Academics once again proving their worthlessness.

Back in Lincoln's day and long before men often shared beds with other men in inns to save money. Only perverts think like perverts and claim Lincoln was gay.

There were a lot of pictures of Teddy Roosevelt with animals. Does that mean that he was into beastiality? These(most likely gay) historians will read whatever they want in to old photographs in order to spread their agenda. It seem that they are rewriting history as they wished it to be rather than what it was.

Back in the day, no one had their own bed. Cost too much. Whole families would sleep in the same bed. My grandmother and her sisters all slept in the same bed. There are Laurel and Hardy movies with them sleeping in the same bed. That's just how it was back then. Only someone with no knowledge of history would think it meant everyone back then was gay.

Re #17. I also remember when AIDS made its lethal appearance. There was a concerted effort by the media to tell us that we were all going to get it and nobody was safe. Not just a "gay disease" they screamed. Turns out it mostly was except for some tragic cases where people got it from a blood transfusion or needle sharing. Even then, the gay lobby resisted the rule about no gays being allowed to donate blood because of the "stigma".

When you are a hammer, everything looks like a nail. Bless their hearts, they constantly crave affirmation. My opinion is they do that because deep down in their souls they know what they do is wrong. Human beings were not meant to be anything other than heterosexual. Unfortunately, our sin nature is a powerful force and we not only sin but will try and justify it. It is our nature. The LGBT+ community work very hard at convincing the rest of us that what they do is normal. It is not and making claims that affirm their lifestyle with nothing more than speculation is the height of irresponsibility.

Judge Mark Pittman, a Trump appointee, found that a federal law making it a felony to distill spirits at home exceeded Congress’ power, holding that neither Congress’ tax power nor its ability to regulate interstate commerce justify the ban. Pittman permanently blocked the government from enforcing the ban, which threatens violators with up to $10,000 in fines or 5 years in prison, against the plaintiffs it found to have standing. “Indeed, the Constitution is written to prevent societal amnesia of the defined limits it places on this government of and by the people,” Pittman wrote.
