Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) will force a vote to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in inherent contempt of Congress in a rarely used maneuver which she says will require a House vote Friday. Luna says Garland forced her hand after he brushed aside a previous contempt vote by the House after President Joe Biden’s loyal lieutenant refused to surrender evidence Republicans say would reveal Biden’s lack of fitness for office. “For Congress to legislate effectively, we must have access to the information that will enable us to make informed decisions,” Luna wrote in a letter to her colleagues Monday.

Abortion giant Planned Parenthood announced it is spending $40 million to prop up 81-year-old President Joe Biden and Democrats in key congressional races ahead of November, The Hill reported. The organization, which was founded by an infamous racist with ties to the eugenics movement, made the announcement on Monday to coincide with the second anniversary of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision. The Dobbs decision overturned the court’s 1973 Roe v. Wade decision — which had invented a constitutional right to abortion for 50 years — and returned the issue of abortion to individual states.

Twice failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has her sights set on your children — for more climate change messaging. Hillary Clinton is putting pressure on Hollywood studios to develop movies and TV shows that dramatize how climate change is putting kids in danger. “There’s now research on this topic, but most people are not aware at all,” Clinton said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “Our hope is that we can help people make the connections between children’s mental and physical health and the impact of climate change.”

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) said Tuesday on CNN’s “The Source” that people did not actually believe President Joe Biden would be on cocaine and any reference to it is in “jest.” Johnson said, “I don’t have no personal animus against Joe Biden. Of course, I respect the office and I’ve just acknowledged what everyone sees. We can’t help how we age. Everybody ages differently at a different pace.” Host Kaitlan Collins said, “Some of the rhetoric is out of line where when people from Trump’s team are suggesting that, and Trump himself, that Biden is going to be on cocaine when he is on the debate stage

A bombshell report released Tuesday afternoon by the House Judiciary GOP claims that at least two of the 51 "former" intelligence officials who signed a letter discrediting the Hunter Biden "Laptop from Hell" as Russian disinformation were actually on the CIA's payroll at the time they signed the letter - despite actively asserting that they didn't have access to any classified information. Former Deputy Director Michael Morell and former CIA Inspector General David Buckley are the two signatories named in Tuesday's report as being on active contract at the time they signed the statement. Since the CIA "declined to declassify the entire universe of signatories who were on active contract," though,

Naftali Bennett, the once and future Prime Minister of Israel, was the keynote speaker at American Experiment’s Annual Dinner earlier this month. I was privileged to spend some time with Bennett, and found him deeply impressive. I will be surprised if he is not Israel’s Prime Minister within the next two years. In today’s Wall Street Journal, Bennett has an op-ed titled “The U.S. and Israel’s Common Fight.” Nothing in it will be new to readers of this web site, but it makes some fundamental points, very well: Elections come and go. Leaders change. But the values Israel and the U.S. represent are eternal. The death cult of Hamas

Canadian Conservative candidate Don Stewart won a close election on Monday in Toronto-St.Paul’s, taking a seat that has been held by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal party for the past 30 years. “Before Monday’s vote, a Conservative candidate hadn’t been competitive in Toronto–St. Paul’s since the 1980s. The party hadn’t won a seat in urban Toronto since the 2011 federal election,” CBC News marveled. CBC called the race a “nail-biter to the very end,” with Stewart’s Liberal opponent Leslie Church in the lead for about six out of seven hours of vote-counting. Stewart only took the lead when the final batch of votes was counted, vaulting to 42.1 percent

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) introduced the No Tax Dollars for the Taliban Act last year. The bill is expected to pass today in the House. The No Tax Dollars for the Taliban Act would force the State Department to report on which countries send aid to the Taliban that also get U.S. assistance. Thanks to President Joe Biden's disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Taliban were ready to take over the country as soon as the last military plane left the Kabul airport. The Biden administration left a power vacuum in place and the Taliban filled that vacuum in 2021. The bill forces the secretary of state to weigh

Gad Saad is someone to whom I need to pay more careful attention--his insights into the self-inflicted collapse of the West are frank and brutally honest. [Snip] “When the leaders hate their civilization more than their enemies do, the civilization is doomed. Never before has history witnessed such a gargantuan self-inflicted death of a civilization that was an existential light in an otherwise world of historical darkness.” [Snip] “From a young age, more American students are fed anti-Western material funded and distributed by a constellation of dark money, left-wing groups, foreign governments, and even from our own government.”
