Julian Assange, his lawyers and the Wikileaks organization will be holding a press conference in Australia at 7:30am Eastern USA time. Mr Assange walked free from a court in the US Pacific Island territory of Saipan, after pleading guilty to violating US espionage law, in a deal that will see him return home to Australia. Assange made no statement when he left the federal court. A lot of people have optimistic hopes for Julian Assange and/or the Wikileaks organization to deliver information that will further evidence and outline the corrupt nature of the colluding governments who targeted him. However, when you consider the current weaponized intents of the U.S. government,

If so, I think I would watch the release of what Assange knows without popcorn or soda. Just quarts of coffee or other caffeine.

Voters Just Delivered Quite a Message
to Trudeau and His Leftist Party in Canada

We've been following the trajectory of Canada's conservative opposition leader for the better part of a year, duly impressed by Pierre Poilievre's communications skills and leadership. Under the Canadian parliamentary system, a federal election must be called and held by October of next year, but it could come sooner. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau -- a preachy, authoritarian, hypocritical leftist -- has tanked in public polling. One recent survey showed his personal favorability rating 26 points underwater, with only one-third of voters viewing him positively. A separate poll this spring notched his job approval at just 28 percent.

House progressives are facing the biggest threat to their power in years after Rep. Jamaal Bowman’s (D-N.Y.) ouster in New York. Bowman, a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC), became the first “Squad” member to lose reelection after he was defeated by moderate George Latimer in a race that was defined by the inflamed intraparty tensions over the Israel-Hamas war Members of the left are also staring down the possibility of a second major loss as Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.), another Squad member, faces a strong Democratic challenger in August, prompting questions about the influence progressives will hold in Congress going forward.

A pair of moderate Utah Republicans won primary elections Tuesday for U.S. Senate and governor over far-right candidates who are loyalists to former President Donald Trump, the latest example of how Utah is a rare Republican state that doesn’t fully embrace Trump’s stranglehold on the GOP. U.S. Rep. John Curtis, who won the GOP primary for Mitt Romney’s open U.S. Senate seat, and Gov. Spencer Cox still support Trump and many of his policies but have shown a willingness to stake out different positions on issues where they disagree. Curtis and Cox both defeated candidates who beat them at the state party convention earlier this year among delegates who lean far right.

The Department of Homeland Security has identified over 400 migrants who were brought to the US from Central Asia and other places by an ISIS-affiliated human smuggling network — and the whereabouts of more than 50 of them are unknown, according to an unsettling report. More than 150 of the migrants have been arrested, but the location of another 50 remains unknown, three US officials told NBC News, adding that US Customs Enforcement is looking to arrest those involved on immigration charges.

The owner of one of New York’s most famous eateries is exploring a run for mayor. Junior’s Restaurant proprietor Alan Rosen — upset with crime and quality of life complaints in the Big Apple — wants to bring his cheese cake making skills to City Hall. Rosen recently met with campaign strategist Hank Sheinkopf, Bill Cunningham and Mitchell Moss, who served as political advisors to former three-term mayor, Mike Bloomberg, to discuss what it takes to run for mayor — and win, The Post has learned. Rosen said he’s interested in running for mayor,” Sheinkopf said after meeting with him.

Would you like to hear about a bright ray of political sunshine penetrating the dense political cloud cover? The Republican Party has long been haunted by the specter of platform infidelity on the part of the party’s elected officeholders. Far too often, a Republican candidate fervently vows fidelity to the party platform during a campaign but, once elected, sheds this fervor like a duck sheds water. The officeholder’s primary agenda becomes re-election, and his/her stance on issues is determined by its probable effect on re-election rather than advancing platform values.
Mayor Adams’ budget quietly installs

Gotham’s budget might be late, with City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams warning last week that she and Mayor Adams (no relation) will miss this Sunday’s fiscal-year deadline. But the timing of the budget is less important than the substance. The council and the mayor are arguing over tidbits while missing the big chunk of spending obscuring New York’s future: How much can we realistically spend on migrants? In his budget proposal, the mayor has finally admitted to reality — the migrant “crisis” is here to stay. This is a reality that he helped create, by continuing to offer all migrants, including single young men with no credible claims to political asylum,

The Supreme Court announced that it was adding another opinion day to its schedule -- Wednesday, June 26th. Among the pending cases is United States v. Trump, in which the court must decide to what extent presidential immunity shields the president from criminal prosecution for actions taken while in office. While the content of the discussions during oral arguments are not a perfect indicator of how the court will rule, Scotus blog sat through oral argument and concluded the court is likely to side with Donald Trump to some degree:

During his Friday broadcast on HBO, apparently Bill Maher started to catch on to the issue of fake media polling. Maher questions how Biden could be losing big percentages of his core constituency (by demographic), yet suddenly be polling ahead of Trump. It just doesn’t make sense.Bill Maher: “45% of Hispanic voters prefer Biden, compared to 39% for Trump. Last time, he won 59%. That was 2020. So, he’s lost 14 points there. He went to Morehouse, he said, ‘What is democracy if you have to be ten times better than anyone else to get a fair shot?’

Daron Shaw should be well known to CTH readers {Go Deep}. Shaw has been the Fox News poll manipulator and narrative engineer for over a decade. Knowing the Trump v Biden debate was coming, we knew Fox News would arrange some anti-Trumpism media narrative to capitalize on the predictable corporate theme. However, to see the Fox team make “Threats To Democracy” the #1 concern of voters, is just a talking point too far.

A judge ruled that a Montana law which defined "sex" in state law, when referring to a person as only male or female, was unconstitutional, saying that the law's description did not explicitly state its purpose. District Court Judge Shane Vannatta struck down the 2023 law on Tuesday after a group of plaintiffs who identify as transgender, nonbinary, intersex and other identities sued, arguing the law denies legal recognition and protection to people who identify as gender-nonconforming, according to The Associated Press.

Tone-deaf Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on Wednesday shrugged off attempts to blame Biden’s border policy for the horrific slaughter of Americans at the hands of illegal migrants, saying, “The individual who is responsible for a heinous criminal act is the criminal.” His comment during a press conference from a Border Patrol aircraft hangar in Tucson, Arizona — some 70 miles from the nearest border crossing — came in response to a question about 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray, who was brutalized and murdered in Houston, allegedly by two Venezuelan migrants who were released into the US earlier this year. “We screen and vet individuals when we encounter them,” he said.

These can include everything from peptides infusion for a boost in brain function, Botox to avoid a sweaty brow, Adderall for enhanced focus — and yes, sometimes even a shot

Joe Biden went into Thursday night’s debate with one advantage: He had lower expectations than any incumbent president—with the possible exception of his predecessor—in the 60-year history of American presidential debates. Voters already thought that he was too old, that he was ill equipped for the job of of the presidency, that he was incompetent. He had little to lose. He was already bottoming out in the polls. Voters, meanwhile, had clearly forgotten about the daily terrors, abuses, and embarrassments of the Trump era. Thursday’s debate should have been a tap-in. The first and perhaps only presidential debate between presumed nominees Donald Trump and Joe Biden takes place on June 27 in CNN’s Atlanta headquarters. Home court advantage goes to President Biden. Is there anyone at CNN, aside from the janitors and cleaning crew, that support Trump? Doubtful. The debate will be moderated by the Trump hating undynamic duo of Jake Tapper and Dana Bash. CNN will mute the microphones, to keep Trump from objecting to Biden’s fabrications, and likely to silence Biden’s gibberish, something occurring with increasing frequency.
