Governor Gavin Newsom (D., Calif.) attacked national Republicans and “delusional California bashers” in his pre-recorded State of the State address on Tuesday, claiming they’re an existential threat to California’s progressive values. “Forces are threatening the very foundation of California’s success. Our pluralism, our innovative spirit, and our diversity,” Newsom said in the speech’s opening, adding that those values “are the antidote to the poisonous populism of the right.” With his latest State of the State address, the Democratic governor definitively stepped into his role as a campaign surrogate for President Joe Biden ahead of his televised debate with former president Donald Trump on Thursday. During his 28-minute speech, Newsom leaned

FTA: "The California senate’s GOP caucus also criticized the governor’s decision to pre-record the speech. Newsom was originally scheduled to deliver the annual State of the State speech in front of state lawmakers on March 18; he did so more than three months later." What a tool. To be really cool he could have totally "phoned" it in. Someone could have put a cell at the microphone and hit "play" on the Gov's latest Tic Tok. Actually, the Gov has been distracted by domestic difficulties. After dropping millions into their estate outside Sacramento, they've recently sold it. The Mrs. and kids have moved back to Marin County, supposedly so the oldest daughter can attend the Mrs.'s old high school. (Sacramento is not desirable for the upper classes of California.) According to newspaper reports, Brillcream will be out of office soon so their family separation will not be long...and he has never been known for being at a loss for company, if you know what I'm sayin'.

Chesapeake, Va.—Presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump took a victory lap Friday afternoon during his first post-debate rally here in blue-leaning Virginia, where he painted Biden as a failed leader and poked fun at the growing chorus of Democrats who are publicly suggesting that the party should replace the president with a new candidate ahead of their August nominating convention in Chicago. Last night was “a big moment for people with common sense,” Trump told the crowd in Virginia, a state he lost by ten points in 2020. This year, Trump is bullish that he can flip this state that no Republican presidential candidate

Several major Hollywood donors for President Joe Biden have been sent into panic mode after President Joe Biden’s poor performance at Thursday night’s presidential debate. Anonymous Hollywood donors told Variety that they had received messages and feedback from donors in the media and entertainment industry who were panicked by what they saw from Biden during the debate. Donors reportedly called for Biden to “drop out” or they would not be “giving any more money” to the Democrat Party. During the presidential debate, Biden appeared to freeze. Biden also spoke with a hoarse voice and mumbled. The president was also unable to get through his closing statement without making a lot of errors.

Almost every Democrat and leftist who saw the presidential debate on Thursday night and watched President Joe Biden melt down is "panicked" and plotting. Under normal circumstances, I would have said that the exclusion from last night’s presidential debate of anti-Semitism was so significant as to merit our full attention. After all, it’s not merely a question of Jews feeling comfortable on campus or elsewhere; it’s a steady stream of violent riots that have taken a can of bear spray to American civic life. And yet, it honestly feels silly even complaining about that—or anything else issue-based, for that matter. The feeling of crisis at this moment is so acute that all issues take a backseat—and that is a crisis all its own. The crisis is international. Maybe even more so than it is domestic.

President Joe Biden is not dropping out of the presidential race after his disastrous debate performance, Biden campaign spokesperson Seth Schuster told the Hill Friday. Pressure is mounting on Biden to step down after Democrat and media hysteria. Biden, who mumbled and sounded raspy, appeared to lose track of his thoughts a few times. Even during his prepared closing statement, Biden did not deliver without error. Sixty-seven percent said Trump won the debate, a CNN flash poll of debate watchers found Thursday. New York Times columnist Tom Friedman, who is Biden’s personal friend, called for him to drop out of the race. “I watched the Biden-Trump debate alone

President Joe Biden’s performance at Thursday night’s first presidential debate thoroughly discredited his many defenders in the press and in the Democratic party who have consistently downplayed concerns that he might not be fit for the job, and have even gone so far as to publicly attack reporters — and the Biden Justice Department — for suggesting otherwise. Throughout his presidency, Biden has appeared out of sorts during public appearances, lost his train of thought, and struggled to perform basic physical tasks. But when the footage of those damning moments inevitably went viral, Biden’s allies would insist the videos were misleadingly edited and didn’t capture the youthful vigor

Millions just witnessed the end of a presidency live on television. Joe Biden’s performance during the debate was embarrassing. Whenever CNN put him up on the split screen, he had a thousand-yard stare. He didn’t look old. He looked ancient. He looked empty. But at least he wasn’t speaking. Because when it was his time to answer, Biden was incoherent. He said he “beat Medicaid.” (Photo) Asked about abortion, he randomly started talking about migrant crime. “I really don’t know what he said at the end of that sentence,” former President Trump noted at one point, “and I don’t think he knows what he said either.” At one point Biden just froze.
