Fresh polling reveals Democratic partisans seem to think their presidential candidate is a bit stale. The Economist/YouGov Poll conducted June 23-25 reveals that among many subgroups, there is a marked difference between those who say they’re sure things when it comes to watching Thursday night’s CNN debate between President Biden and former President Donald Trump in Atlanta and those who aren’t. While there will be no audience at the event itself, the numbers suggest Democrats are more likely to tune out the event, leaving an opportunity for the presumptive Republican nominee to make inroads with the most important audience of all:

Of course the Biden voters won''t watch. They'll just wait until the subsequent TV new reports tell them that "Biden prevailed in a surprisingly energetic performance,"

The U.S. Supreme Court just showed us why our VIP membership program is more crucial than ever before. For years, the Biden administration pressured Big Tech companies to take down information on the internet that threatened its false narratives and administrative power — the ability to control Americans through force. It's well documented, and the administration was sued by the state of Missouri for doing it. Townhall was a target of the Biden administration on a wide range of issues: climate change, COVID-19 and much more. Hundreds of stories written by our journalists were censored — taken off of social media sites and buried in search engines as "dangerous."

"Nobody else is going to tell you this, but they're not considering any white males for the job," Giordano said to the OMG undercover journalist. "There's no way we're hiring a white male."

For as long as I can remember, the Left has been sneering at anyone who points out that the United States is a republic, not a democracy. They find the notion almost as unsophisticated and fascistic as flying a revolutionary-era flag. Others dismiss the democracy/republic debate as pedantic or a semantic distraction. They shouldn't.The other day, CNN's Donie O'Sullivan tried to make Trump fans who repeat this factual contention look like a bunch of dumb, lock stepping authoritarians. To explain the problem, CNN even recruited "democracy" expert Anne Applebaum, who noted that,

One of the Bidenary impacts to economic analysis and/or economic outcome review has been the inability of any government statistical data to make any sense. Quite frankly, almost every financial pundit in mainstream media pretends the data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA), the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) or the Dept of Commerce is accurate. It’s not, and we all know it. Just like every other institution in Washington DC, the systems of economic tracking have lost all their credibility. That said, even with all the pretending intended to prop-up the Biden administration,

The Charter Revision Commission convened by Mayor Adams may have started as a politically motivated effort to fend off a City Council power grab — but on Monday, commissioners heard a reform proposal that could profoundly change Gotham politics for the better. The possible change sounds simple: giving nearly one million more registered voters the right to participate in primary elections. But its impact could be profound, offering New York City a way to take back local government from the hard left. Today, voters not registered to a major party are shut out of primaries, our most important local elections. They are, as progressive jargon would have it, disenfranchised.

Joe Biden went into Thursday night’s debate with one advantage: He had lower expectations than any incumbent president—with the possible exception of his predecessor—in the 60-year history of American presidential debates. Voters already thought that he was too old, that he was ill equipped for the job of of the presidency, that he was incompetent. He had little to lose. He was already bottoming out in the polls. Voters, meanwhile, had clearly forgotten about the daily terrors, abuses, and embarrassments of the Trump era. Thursday’s debate should have been a tap-in. The first and perhaps only presidential debate between presumed nominees Donald Trump and Joe Biden takes place on June 27 in CNN’s Atlanta headquarters. Home court advantage goes to President Biden. Is there anyone at CNN, aside from the janitors and cleaning crew, that support Trump? Doubtful. The debate will be moderated by the Trump hating undynamic duo of Jake Tapper and Dana Bash. CNN will mute the microphones, to keep Trump from objecting to Biden’s fabrications, and likely to silence Biden’s gibberish, something occurring with increasing frequency.
