A scholar at Harvard who specializes in dishonesty has been accused of making up the findings in one of her major studies on the subject. You couldn’t make this up. Academia already has a major problem being perceieved as overwhelmingly leftist, now this. According to a report from the New York Times, “reverberations” are going through the academic community as one of the leading scholars in behavioral psychology has been accused of fabricating findings in a major study on honesty. The report claimed that the field of behavioral science, an area of research often seen with much “skepticism” from other scientists, “may have sustained its most serious blow yet” thanks to evidence

With most academic studies you start out with your conclusions and recommendations and work you way back trying to find supporting data. You can bet she was funded by the government.

There is a psychological behavior called "projection" where people project what they do do onto others; it's a form of denial. The Rev. Jimmy Swaggart was said to display this, where he frequently preached on adultery although he was wearing disguises and visiting prostitutes. This might explain why this scholar, who is inherently dishonest, would write against dishonestly. Or maybe she's just all around scum -- end of story.

Harvard. Wharton. That’s where that chick that torched the Bud Light brand attended. My kids are long graduated from state and community schools. One is a bank president, one is ops director of our local isp, another is a high placed executive and the last is happily married who has given us great grandkids. Maybe a degree from Harvard etal opens some doors for you in the deep state but they sure don’t seem to teach anything useful.

FTA: "A scholar at Harvard who specializes in dishonesty has been accused of making up the findings in one of her major studies on the subject." A question you gotta ask yourself... Has there ever in the last 50 years been any professor at Harvard who doesn't specialize in "Dishonesty" no matter what the course subject may be?

I love seeing the supposed elites getting crushed by reality. It would be nice to have the e-mail addresses of their grads and faculty and say that this proves that they wear their colors, crimson, well as in red-faced embarrassment.

Actually, this HAS happened before. Environmental and climate scientist Peter Gleick, the Chairman of the American Geophysical Union Committee on Scientific Ethics, had to resign from a bunch of positions when he got caught committing identity theft. And he very likely created a hoax document when the document he pilfered wasn't outrageous enough for his purposes. https://climateaudit.org/2012/02/22/gleicks-agu-resignation/

In order to get Hunter Biden out from under attack the Biden family successfully adopted the Ukrainian experience: as a result, the Ukrainian Burisma case and the American Hunter case are closed under the same scheme – by changing the charges, striking a deal with the investigation, pressuring judicial authorities and fictitious conduct of criminal investigations. The intensified activity of the Oversight and Accountability Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, led by James Comer, and the emergence of more and more evidence of corruption schemes involving the president’s family

Like some other commentators, I have in recent years several times quoted a famous exchange from Ernest Hemingway’s first novel, The Sun Also Rises. Recent developments in the Biden family money laundering scheme, the implosion of a boutique underwater expedition to the Titanic, and a possible coup in Russia prompt me to wheel it out once again. “‘How did you go bankrupt?’ Bill asked. ‘Two ways,’ Mike said. ‘Gradually, then suddenly.’” It fits the long-running drama over Hunter Biden’s laptop from hell, I think. Miranda Devine broke news of that scandal in the New York Post in the run-up to the 2020 presidential election.

The battle between communism and freedom has many chapters, from people jumping The Berlin Wall to Mariel, Cuba in 1980. I saw the ugly face of communism as a boy, when my father's cousin was thrown in jail for publicly denouncing Castro. He was arrested in 1961 and released in 1975. Never had a trial, and forget about anybody reading him his Miranda rights. They don't do that in communist countries. We remember a great moment from the 20th century, or the day that U.S. and U.K. planes began dropping supplies to the people of West Berlin isolated by the USSR blockade.

Suarez added he donated to money to DeSantis during the primary but he did not get a phone call back from the future governor. "Well, I voted for him. I didn’t support him. I didn’t endorse him. The Biden corruption story is becoming as messy as Hunter Biden’s stay at the Chateau Marmont, gaining traction outside conservative media. The Biden White House knew bad news was coming this week: Thursday saw the House Ways and Means reveal credible testimony from IRS whistleblowers that they were hamstrung in their investigations of Hunter Biden. Delaware US Attorney David Weiss wanted to charge Hunter in March 2022 but was blocked. It also doesn’t help that everyone can see through Hunter’s recent plea deal, where he’ll avoid jail on gun and tax evasion charges. That might put out some fires, but there’s an emerging wildfire emanating

On Tuesday it was reported that Hunter Biden had struck a deal with federal prosecutors to plead guilty to two tax misdemeanors while his felony firearm possession charge would be effectively dismissed via a pretrial diversion — a resolution only reserved for a Biden. In 2021, for example, fewer than 1 percent of cases filed by U.S. attorneys in federal court resulted in the same pretrial diversion offered to Hunter. No such resolution was offered, for example, to the rapper Kodak Black. According to Black’s lawyer, Black — a two-time Grammy Award nominee — got 3 years for the same offense.

Yale Law School professor Oona Hathaway wrote an especially revealing Guest Essay in the pages of the New York Times. By aiding the government’s exceptional indictment against a former U.S. president, she may have violated several laws; the American Bar Association (ABA) Model Rules of Professional Conduct; and the American Association of Law School (AALS) Statement on “Law Professors in the Discharge of Ethical and Professional Responsibilities.” Hathaway’s essay demonstrates how extreme ideological fervor can make law professors “legally blind” to what the law actually says. However, Hathaway’s essay, which is but one of many such partisan essays by law professors

In a story that’s captured international attention, world champion kickboxers Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan find themselves in the crosshairs of Romania’s judicial system. Or, as Tate prefers to call the system: ‘The Matrix.’ The brothers stand accused of horrific crimes, including rape, human trafficking, and orchestrating an organized crime group for the sexual exploitation of women. Despite the severity of these allegations, the handling of this case has raised numerous eyebrows, becoming a poignant example in the ongoing debate over justice, fairness, and due process.

Psychological projection is the stock in trade of our American ruling class. You can see this in the way the D.C. Deep State always treated President Trump as a totally illegitimate bum; especially as regards their most precious possession, classified material. Recall the furor when Trump revealed some Israeli information to the Russian foreign minister, in a bid to get help from them in the Middle East. Such top-secret horse trading goes on all the time, yet since Trump is a bum, he cannot be allowed the traditional power with respect to classified documents that all Presidents have, as in Navy v. Egan.

This past May 1 was a typical day on the New York City subways. Commuters and tourists were transiting beneath the chaos of overhead Manhattan, only to witness New York’s subterranean version of Dante’s Inferno. Specifically, a homeless man, now euphemistically called an “urban camper” or “displaced person,” was harassing fellow subway passengers. The Guardian went further in their descriptors, calling Neely “a talented dancer” who was “remembered as kind and loving” and even “had a fan club.” Neely also had a long rap sheet, a fact conveniently overlooked by most media sympathizers.

One of the most vital things for a successful dictatorship is military control. A politically neutral military composed of people loyal to the country, rather than its leadership, represents an ongoing threat to a despot. For centuries, America has had that politically neutral military, but the Biden administration is accelerating a process begun under Obama, which is to weaken military readiness while ensuring that both officers and troops hew to a specific political ideology. In the first five years of his presidency, Obama fired almost 200 military officers, some of whom felt very strongly that there was an ideological purge taking place.

New York City will be cracking down on wood-fired pizza joints to reduce carbon emissions by up to 75%. “All New Yorkers deserve to breathe healthy air and wood and coal-fired stoves are among the largest contributors of harmful pollutants in neighborhoods with poor air quality,” Department of Environmental Protection spokesman Ted Timbers said in a statement to the New York Post on Sunday. “This common-sense rule, developed with restaurant and environmental justice groups, requires a professional review of whether installing emission controls is feasible.”

The president is coming off a series of stumbles: he tumbled at the Air Force Academy and had a near fall in Hiroshima when he tripped on a set of stairs earlier this month.

CNN obtained the audio recording of a 2021 meeting in which former President Donald Trump discussed having secret documents he did not declassify. The network ran the audio on Anderson Cooper 360. In it, Trump seemed to be showing the confidential documents to others in the room, as they had a discussion about Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Portions of the audio are cited in the federal indictment of Trump over his withholding of classified documents after he left the White House. In the conversation, reportedly with the writers of Mark Meadows autobiography, Trump referred to the document and that it remained classified. “See as president

We’ve long been critical of Hollywood’s lack of fresh, new ideas and its apparent fascination with rebooting past films or giving us a sequel decades later. Sadly, merely paying homage to the original material is insufficient. Instead, producers opt to incorporate “wokeness,” believing it will be more appealing to modern viewers, but in the process, they end up taking something beloved and turning it into garbage that the masses don’t want to see. The latest example is Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies, the prequel series to the 1978 hit film Grease. I’m not sure who wanted this — it’s bad enough to hear any of the original songs
