The Trump administration announced Monday that it had revoked a total of 175,000 visas since the start of the president's term, stating that most revocations stemmed from recipient encounters with law enforcement. "The majority of these visas were revoked due to law enforcement encounters for a range of criminal activity, with assault, driving under the influence, theft, and drug crimes being the leading causes," the State Department said in a statement. "A significant share of visas were revoked for reckless driving, sexual assault, child abuse, fraud and embezzlement, and other crimes."

That is all well and good but are they being kicked out of the country? If not, why not?

I think they can stay in the US (not automatically deported) but can't leave the US and come back in under the revoked visa. They can petition to have their status changed from revoked (more serious, ha-ha) to cancelled. Being a criminal means nothing anymore, I guess. Isn't government helpful?

...assault, driving under the influence, theft, and drug crimes... How many here would visit another country and even think about attempting any of these crimes? Especially any of the holes from where most of these miscreants no doubt came?

Let a white American citizen go on a crime spree, rape a few girls, wreck a few cars. How long would that guy stay out of jail? Our problem is not the illegal immigrants, it's the Leftist Loon Governments and stupid liberal white women that are to blame.

Senate stopgap carves out over $800B for

The short-term funding bill the U.S. Senate passed early Saturday to keep the government running through Dec. 11 would provide about $843.9 billion for defense, nearly half of the about $1.7 trillion in annualized budget authority it covers, according to a new Congressional Budget Office estimate. The measure would largely maintain federal agencies at prior-year funding rates, but it carves out billions in exceptions, including for Navy shipbuilding programs with prior-year cost increases. CBO estimated the stopgap at about $1.7 trillion in annualized budget authority and $1.87 trillion in outlays across the 12 appropriations bills it extends. Of that, $843.9 billion in budget authority is for defense.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said in private text messages with other federal health officials that the COVID-19 vaccine could “theoretically” pose a risk of miscarriage for pregnant women after the second dose. The former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases noted that because “many people have a cytokine storm and fever after the second dose” of the vaccine, “this theoretically could be associated with miscarriage in the 1st trimester.” The January 2021 text thread took place during the early weeks of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout. recount of Indiana's 23rd Senate district primary has flipped the race in favor of a Trump-backed Republican who sought to oust an incumbent lawmaker who opposed redistricting. State Sen. Spencer Deery, R, emerged narrowly ahead on primary night, but the recount has seen the race flip to Paula Copenhaver, local outlet WRTV reported. President Donald Trump backed primary challengers to eight Indiana senators who refused his push to redistrict the state, resulting in six of them losing their seats on primary night. Copenhaver's eventual win puts the figure at seven ousted. Deery led by three votes before the recount, which found Copenhaver ahead by the same amount.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s wife Rama Duwaji is heading to Syria and Lebanon next month – and she’s bringing along cops assigned to the First Couple’s taxpayer-funded NYPD detail, The Post has learned. Duwaji will be jetting to the Middle East for a trip beginning Sept. 20 to the countries on the State Department’s “Do Not Travel” list for Americans because of dangerous conditions, a source said. The source familiar with the security detail said the first lady, who’s been described by the mayor as a “private person,” requested NYPD security – after traveling overseas last month without police protection. Whatever in the world possessed Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger's staff to think this was a good idea? For some inexplicable reason, they scheduled the Democrat to appear at a Saturday fiddlers convention in rural southwest Virginia. Needless to say, this was not her crowd, and they let her know it. The setting was Galax, Virginia, a small independent city in the Blue Ridge Highlands of Southwest Virginia, located very close to the North Carolina line. It's been called the “gateway to the Blue Ridge Mountains," and its identity has deep ties to old-timey Appalachian bluegrass music.

The more you see and hear from Abdul El-Sayed, the socialist-aligned radical who just won the Democrat Party's Senate primary in Michigan, the more it seems like he's better suited to be a bomb-throwing keyboard warrior or a podcast bro who excels at raging into a microphone. It certainly seems like he's auditioning for one of these roles instead of the sober, serious job of being a United States senator. Then again, no one has accused the Democrat Party of being sober or serious in a very long time. El-Sayed had Vice President JD Vance in his sights during a recent interview with MS NOW. In it,

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) ideology has spread through schools, universities, corporations, and government agencies, destroying excellence, integrity, and comity. Now, a new investigation shows that DEI has infected one of the most sensitive and important fields in America: mental healthcare. The footage reveals that the nation's most influential psychology organization is prioritizing political activism over patient care.

Rush Limbaugh had a saying to explain how he would drive a point home about the left that perfectly applies to what we’re seeing in the WNBA today. He said that sometimes you have to illustrate the absurd through absurdity. In other words, you have to take the left’s premise to its ultimate conclusion to more fully see just how messed up it is. That would be a perfect description of how the WNBA is totally blowing its current men-in-women's-sports crisis. My colleagues David Manney and Robert Spencer both wrote separate stories about this trend, which is getting increasingly absurd: We now have former NBA stars declaring their intent

It's hard for me to believe that the Democrats might run Kamala Harris for president again after her campaign was such a disaster in 2024. Not only did President Donald Trump clean her clock, even getting more of the popular vote, but he also beat her in all the swing states. Plus she spent and lost a ton of money in a futile cause, by some estimates, $1.5 billion over the course of an abbreviated campaign. Polls have her up for 2028, though, so I'm all in for it. That should be great fun to watch her go down in flames again. It does sound like she's gearing up

President Donald Trump has played tough with Iran, using the U.S. military to punish that nation’s Islamist regime when it stops talking, and calling off hostile actions when Iran returns to the negotiating table. After five months of this pattern, Americans’ support for U.S. attacks on Iran is lukewarm at best, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. For the August online national I&I/TIPP Poll, taken from July 28 to Aug. 1, 1,463 adults were asked: “Do you support or oppose U.S. military action against Iran?” The poll’s margin of error is +/-2.9 percentage points. A total of 42% said they supported military action either “strongly” (22%) or “somewhat,”
