Kamala's Bizarre Remarks About 'Ruthlessness'

It's hard for me to believe that the Democrats might run Kamala Harris for president again after her campaign was such a disaster in 2024. Not only did President Donald Trump clean her clock, even getting more of the popular vote, but he also beat her in all the swing states. Plus she spent and lost a ton of money in a futile cause, by some estimates, $1.5 billion over the course of an abbreviated campaign. Polls have her up for 2028, though, so I'm all in for it. That should be great fun to watch her go down in flames again. It does sound like she's gearing up

How this woman has come so far in politics is the lasting mystery of our times. What dumbfounds me is that donors will actually dole out cold hard cash to back this semi-literate, low intellect, clueless nincompoop. Or am I speaking about AOC?

If she's forced to go through the primary (rather than being selected), she'll be ousted just as quickly and effectively as she was the first time she ran. Remember that?

On July 16, 1988, Florence Griffith-Joyner sprinted 100 meters in 10.49 seconds at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Indianapolis. Nearly four decades later, no woman has run faster, and her world record still stands. Her 200-meter record, set at the Seoul Olympics later that year, has also stood for almost forty years. Flo-Jo remains the fastest woman who has ever lived. Yet her 100-meter record has repeatedly been surpassed by American high school boys. The current U.S. high school boys’ record is 9.92 seconds, set in 2025 and more than half a second faster. Many boys have run faster than Flo-Jo’s legendary mark, and each year more join that list. Rush Limbaugh had a saying to explain how he would drive a point home about the left that perfectly applies to what we’re seeing in the WNBA today. He said that sometimes you have to illustrate the absurd through absurdity. In other words, you have to take the left’s premise to its ultimate conclusion to more fully see just how messed up it is. That would be a perfect description of how the WNBA is totally blowing its current men-in-women's-sports crisis. My colleagues David Manney and Robert Spencer both wrote separate stories about this trend, which is getting increasingly absurd: We now have former NBA stars declaring their intent

Jason Arday, the sociologist who made history as Cambridge University's youngest Black professor, has resigned from the university after weeks of mounting accusations of plagiarism and fabrications in his biography. Arday, who joined Cambridge in 2023 at the age of 37, became one of Britain's most high-profile academics after sharing an extraordinary life story. He has said he is autistic and dyslexic, and that he did not speak until he was 11 and could not read or write until he was 18. But following the accusations and scrutiny, Arday resigned from his position on Wednesday. "The relentless accusations, speculation and public commentary have taken a profound

There is a pattern that repeats with disturbing regularity: when left-wing or socialist policies dominate power, crises not only arrive — they worsen, are managed through ideology, and end up costing lives, prosperity, and social cohesion. This is not an accident. It is the result of a worldview that prioritizes narrative, social engineering, and political control over effectiveness, prevention, and reality. The 2008 financial crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, uncontrolled mass immigration, and energy failures are clear examples. The United States is not immune: what Europe and Spain have suffered with particular intensity offers a direct warning for America. The 2008 crisis was global, originating in the American financial system,

ISLAMABAD — Renowned British-Nepali climber Nirmal Purja and nine other climbers swept away by an avalanche in Pakistan are confirmed to have died, and search teams were trying to recover their bodies, Purja’s expedition company said Saturday. “The world has lost one of mountaineering’s greatest climbers,” the company, Elite Exped, said in a statement, adding that all the lives lost were being mourned. “No words can ease the pain of this unimaginable loss.” The 10-member expedition was swept away by an avalanche Thursday on Pakistan’s Broad Peak. Rescuers found four bodies and recovered three of them Friday in harsh weather that hampered flights by search and rescue helicopters.

Socialists have won one Democratic primary after another this year. Of course, Democratic primary voters represent a thin slice, the leftward-most portion, of our electorate. Still, socialism as a viable popular movement in the United States represents a radical departure from our history. How wide is the appeal of socialism, really? Rasmussen headlines “Voters Overwhelmingly Reject DSA Policies,” and its findings are interesting. But while the Rasmussen survey tests four policies being advocated by the Democratic Socialists of America, socialism is not one of them. And I don’t find the results to be particularly reassuring:

Liberals are quick to blame forest fires on “climate change,” without any evidence as to how the conditions under which a particular fire broke out are different from those of last year or decades ago. In fact, acreage lost to wildfires is at an all-time low because of improved forest management techniques. Worldwide, acreage burned by wildfires is believed to be lower than ever before, including pre-human historical times. In the U.S., acreage burned is down by around 80% since the 1920s and 1930s, as the Healthy Skeptic notes: (Chart) The recent slight uptick is due, I believe, to the fact that California has turned forest management over to environmentalists,

Something like 80% of Americans oppose allowing men to play in women’s sports leagues. That is, after all, the entire point of having women’s divisions and leagues–women play against other women, not against men. For a sports organization like the Women’s National Basketball Association to come out in favor of allowing men (“trans women”) to play in their league is the height of perversity. If men could play in the WNBA, there soon would be no women left and no purpose to the league. And yet, multiple WNBA coaches and others associated with the league have come out in favor of letting men play. I can think of no reason

She seems to think this is a good thing: (X) I would note two additional things: the attention she pays to the Union’s ethnic breakdown, the Left’s ongoing obsession, and her reference

Organ donation is one of the most selfless decisions a person can make. A family, often gutted by grief, chooses to turn devastating loss into a lifeline for a complete stranger. The whole thing runs on trust. Trust that doctors will treat their loved one with dignity. Trust that every ethical safeguard stays in place. Trust that nobody gets declared dead before they actually are. For years, the organizations responsible for managing this process — organ procurement organizations, or OPOs — have operated as regional monopolies with almost zero accountability.

Article III of the Constitution allows Congress to establish courts below the Supreme Court, which includes federal District and Circuit Courts. If Congress can establish them, it can abolish them. In 1801, in the waning days of John Adams’ presidency Congress did just that and abolished the district and circuit courts of the District of Columbia. These two courts display widespread intransigent partisanship and demonstrably poor scholarship, exemplified by this week’s ruling on the new White House construction. Given the difficulty of removing so many bad judges in these two courts by impeaching them, it’s time to repeat John Adams’ move: Abolish these courts.

One of the nation’s top sports chronicles, Sports Illustrated, is under fire for pushing out a headline insisting that WNBA star Sophie Cunningham deserved to be bashed in the face on the court because of her support of women-only sports.
