James Talarico is running for the Senate in this year’s elections in Texas. His radical far-left policies are bad enough, but his theology is even worse. The New York Post is reporting on one of Talarico’s inspirations: a “TransQueer, Latinx” activist theologian upon whom Talarico lavished praise and befriended in 2021. The heretical dweeb even appeared on a podcast with scholar Roberto Henderson-Espinoza to gush over transgenderism, Latino ethnicity, and intersectionality in general. (X) Talarico fell head over heels for Espinoza’s book Activist Theology, which she wrote in 2019 under her given name, Robyn Henderson-Espinoza. “My whiteness, my masculinity, all those things limit my imagination about what’s possible.” Then you shouldn't be running for an office that requires such things.

The only reason someone like espinoza gets away with what he does is because our society - for reasons unknown - has come to allow it.

I don’t recall exactly when it was that I learned that it took a bit more than eight minutes for the sun’s light to reach us here on Earth. Sometime before high school, I think. Anyway, that pedestrian fact made a deep impression on me. I knew that light traveled at a fixed speed and that its operation wasn’t (quite) instantaneous, although in our quotidian lives, it seemed almost so. But the fact that the sunlight we see all about us is eight minutes old made a deep and disconcerting impression on my young self. Who knows what might have happened to the Sun in the meantime? I began researching this phenomenon

Elon Musk recently became the world’s first trillionaire, and the prevalent hostility to great wealth found its largest object yet. The claims: he is too rich and too powerful for our democracy, and his wealth should be redistributed to others. But Musk’s personal wealth is not the most socially salient fact about him. He demonstrates how private wealth not only improves markets and consumer welfare but also democratic civilization. However large his net worth, Tesla, SpaceX, Starlink, and related ventures have produced far more value for consumers, employees, shareholders, and the public than Musk himself possesses. The Nobel Laureate William Nordhaus has estimated that

For all my life, I have given little thought to how I get my electricity. That is true for most people. You flip a switch, and it is there, on demand, no questions asked. A big storm might hit your neighborhood and knock out power, but if that’s a concern, one has the option of installing a natural gas-powered backup generator. Speaking of natural gas, most people heat their homes with natural gas. It provides comfortable and reliable heating. As far as transportation goes, you probably don’t think much about that either. If you are like me, you stop into a gas station when you see that you are running

I'd like to use Father’s Day to make a humble request: Let’s bring back the patriarchy. Whatever we currently have just isn’t working. Empowering an odd collection of feminazis, soy boys, pronoun people, emotional nutcases, women pretending to be men, and men pretending to be women has produced a dysfunctional world that makes no sense. We’ve got gays celebrating Muslim jihadists who throw gays off buildings for sport. We’ve got “Me Too” pink-hat-ladies defending pedophiles and rapists from decorated military veterans now serving as ICE agents. We have male Democrat Party politicians harnessed with strange contraptions that allow them to “breastfeed” adopted babies.

One look at Kyle "I'm Antifa" Wagner using every conceivable grammatical use of the F word, and one can find how getting death threats, stalking, and conspiring to harm or kill federal officers appears to be a real threat. The feds sure think so, which is why the feds rolled up tough guy Kyle "aka Kaos," in Minneapolis this week and netted him a hat trick of charges. He's one scary and unhinged-looking dude. Wagner was charged with solicitation to commit an act of violence, interstate threats, and conspiracy stemming from last winter's Minneapolis riots, "direct actions," and violence against federal agents from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other

The Left is actively striving to instigate extensive disorder and rebellion. The illegal immigration, protests, riots, urban destruction, the naked transgenders dancing on the White House lawn, the exaggerated rhetoric, and even the latest massive plan to attack the White House and kill government officials exhibit a sense of coordination, instilling fear in the largely uneducated populace of a mythical America—cultivated by the left-dominated education system over the past five or six decades that has taught hatred of country and capitalism. We will explore the fundamental reasons behind the Left's inability to accept our Constitution and American culture. The leadership on the left are communists and historically hate fascism.

WASHINGTON, DC - Earlier in June, the FBI announced the arrest of a 60-year-old fugitive found residing in the Philippines who fled the United States after failing to appear for his sentencing in connection with pleading guilty to numerous federal charges involving healthcare fraud back in 2019. FBI Director Kash Patel announced the arrest of 60-year-old Herbert Leon Kimble via social media on June 19th, highlighting how the apprehended fugitive was among those listed on the agency’s “Most Wanted Fraudsters” list. According to authorities, Kimble had run a Medicare fraud scheme between 2014 and 2019, reportedly amassing $1.2 billion in ill-gotten gains

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) blasted a federal court order requiring Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to release Salah Sarsour, the president of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee, while his removal case proceeds. Sarsour, a Palestinian lawful permanent resident who has lived in the United States for more than three decades, was arrested by ICE in March. Federal officials argued that he poses a foreign policy concern. DHS also alleges that he obtained his green card after providing false information during the immigration process. DHS responded sharply after U.S. District Judge James Patrick Hanlon, a Trump appointee to the Southern District of Indiana, ordered Sarsour released from custody.

Sir Keir Starmer choked up this morning as he resigned as Labour leader and listed his ‘achievements’, setting the stage for a leadership contest and a new Prime Minister to be in place by September. The Mail has more. Keir Starmer choked up today as he announced he is quitting, with Andy Burnham closing in on taking control of Downing Street. The PM talked up his achievements in getting Labour elected – as well as making a series of dubious claims about successes in Government – in a statement outside the famous black door of No. 10.

How do Americans respond to the economic and political system known as socialism? For a decade or two after the collapse of socialism in Eastern Europe countries and other nations, the idea became untenable. Now, however, socialism has regained popularity among many, in particular Democrats, as the June I&I/TIPP Poll demonstrates. In the latest online national poll, taken from May 26 through May 28, 1,589 voting-age respondents were asked the following question: “In general, do you have a favorable or unfavorable view of socialism?” Those answering the poll, which has a margin of error of +/-2.7 percentage points, were

A federal judge on Monday blocked the Trump administration from creating a centralized database containing Social Security numbers along with information about voters’ citizenship status and other sensitive data. District Judge Sparkle Sooknanan, an appointee of former President Biden, said officials across numerous government agencies “haphazardly combined and repurposed the private information of millions of Americans, including citizenship data that they knew to be unreliable” in order to comply with President Trump’s March executive order attempting to overhaul federal elections.

The first words out of my son’s mouth were “Mom” and “Dad,” words that capture the beautiful, natural reality of human life and family. Yet New York’s Democrat-controlled legislature has passed a bill that seeks to erase these foundational terms from state law, replacing “mother” with the clinical “gestating parent” and “father” with the soulless “non-gestating parent.” “Paternity” becomes “parentage,” and “putative father” yields to “alleged parent.” This Orwellian rewrite now sits on Governor Kathy Hochul’s desk.[snip]Mothers gestate and give birth; fathers provide the other half of the biological equation.

When the Democrats nominated Barack Obama to represent their party in the 2008 presidential election many voters consoled themselves with this thought: “Well, at least it’s not Hillary.” Unfortunately, preventing her from taking up residence in the White House was the last useful thing he did for the country. Indeed, from the moment he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize during his first year in office—before he could possibly have done anything noteworthy—it became clear that there would be a huge gap between his actual accomplishments and the celebration of his presidency.

Sir Keir Starmer wants to force social networks and video platforms to make BBC content more prominent. Under plans to further restrict private media firms, news from public service broadcasters would be given priority to fight “disinformation”. The proposals will set Sir Keir on a collision course with tech giants already frustrated by his under-16s social media ban. The Government is expected to start a consultation this week on the rules, which would force platforms such as Facebook and YouTube to boost content from the BBC, ITV and Channel 4. Sources at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport said the rules would make it easier for Britons to “discover trusted news sources” online.

On the other hand, it’s a crap sandwich, and there’s no need to take a bite and announce that it’s “Yummy.” It is not yummy, but it might be the best we can hope for today.
