On her final day as director of national intelligence Friday, Tulsi Gabbard released damning declassified evidence accusing Dr. Anthony Fauci of causing the COVID-19 pandemic, engaging in a cover-up about the virus’s origins in China and lying to Congress about it.
Perhaps most disturbingly, he was assisted by the US intelligence community.[snip]
Meanwhile, the Washington Post did not publish a word about Gabbard’s Fauci revelations.
Nor, for that matter, did any mainstream outlet on the left. The same news organizations that helped cover up the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic, now overwhelmingly believed to have come from a leak from China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology, are still refusing to come clean.

The first words out of my son’s mouth were “Mom” and “Dad,” words that capture the beautiful, natural reality of human life and family. Yet New York’s Democrat-controlled legislature has passed a bill that seeks to erase these foundational terms from state law, replacing “mother” with the clinical “gestating parent” and “father” with the soulless “non-gestating parent.” “Paternity” becomes “parentage,” and “putative father” yields to “alleged parent.” This Orwellian rewrite now sits on Governor Kathy Hochul’s desk.[snip]Mothers gestate and give birth; fathers provide the other half of the biological equation.

Scandal-scarred Rep. Ilhan Omar and her hubby have gone from the penthouse to the poorhouse.
The husband of the Minnesota “Squad” firebrand — who once valued his venture capital and wine empire at up to $30 million — now claims to be pocketing as little as $200 a year.
[snip]
Omar claimed the total value of the couple’s assets was between $20,000 and $125,000 for 2025, and their credit card and student-loan debt hovered between $30,000 and $100,000 — putting their net worth at negative-$80,000-$95,000, according to the report.

Disney purists (like me) wince a bit when the rides that have direct connections to Walt Disney get changed. Some things sound promising, like the long-overdue updates to Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress.
Others are cringey and obviously aimed at placating the left, [snip]
Autopia is one of the original attractions at Disneyland Park. It’s essentially one of those “kids get to drive a car” rides — in other words, slow go-karts. They’re loud, and they allow kids to be in control. But the California bureaucrats are now telling Disney that it must convert the Autopia ride vehicles to electric by 2027 or shut the attraction down.

Over a dozen community members demanded action against what they described as Islamophobic comments made by a Peoria Unified School District governing board member.
During a June 9 district board meeting, speakers said Janelle Bowles had shared posts on social media rejecting Islam as a religion, claimed Muslim families indoctrinate their children and suggested the religion would take over the country. Several district staff and parents asked for her resignation or the governing board to formally censure her.
Students told the board Bowles’ comments made Muslim students feel unsafe in their own schools and normalized prejudice against them.

Massachusetts' restrictive gun control laws failed to stop a violent felon from illegally arming himself and opening fire on a busy Cambridge thoroughfare last month, and now the state's draconian gun laws have once again had a high-profile failure after a pair of juveniles held up a lemonade stand in south Boston run by a pair of youngsters.
[snip]
The police put out a public call Thursday afternoon for information that could lead them to two “unknown” boys, one of whom “displayed a black firearm in his waistband” before the pair grabbed the cash

Convicted killer Karmelo Anthony has claimed he’s “penniless” and can’t afford a lawyer for his appeal — despite his family collecting $625,000 in crowdfunding for his legal defense and “living expenses,” according to a report.
Anthony, 19, made the assertion in a notice of appeal filed after he was found guilty of fatally stabbing 17-year-old Austin Metcalf and sentenced to 35 years behind bars, according to a report by ABC WFAA.
Anthony — who was moved to a Texas state prison Wednesday — is “penniless, destitute, and indigent person, too poor to employ counsel to represent me on the appeal,” reads the appeal form.

FBI Director Kash Patel announced Wednesday that Said Abdullahi Ereg, a former Minneapolis grocery and deli owner, had surrendered to federal authorities, marking the first person on the FBI’s new "Most Wanted Fraudsters" list to be taken into custody as federal authorities continue a nationwide fraud crackdown.
Said Abdullahi Ereg, 47, faces charges including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud and money laundering.
The FBI said Ereg, a former south Minneapolis grocery and deli owner, surrendered to federal authorities less than a week after the Justice Department unveiled its "Most Wanted Fraudsters" list, which is intended to publicly identify individuals charged in major fraud cases.

The “sweetest” elderly Mississippi couple were allegedly killed by a teenage burglar who then shot at cops during a six-hour standoff while barricaded in the house, according to authorities.
Billy Blair, 74, and his wife, Virginia Carol Blair, 71, were killed after 17-year-old Cordarius Hobbs broke into their home last Wednesday, WLBT reported. Hobbs has since been charged with capital murder.
Cops swooped on the Mendenhall home just after noon for a welfare check after worried relatives couldn’t make contact — but they encountered gunfire upon their arrival.
The burglary was already taking place when police arrived and the front door was open.

Mere hours after the GiveSendGo fund supporting Karmelo Anthony was “unpublished,” activists supporting the teen murderer launched a petition calling for the arrest of Austin Metcalf’s brother, Hunter.
The petition, which as of this writing still has fewer than 50 signatures, charges Hunter Metcalf with contributing to his brother’s death by “allegedly assaulting” Anthony.
“As a member of the Black community in America, the ongoing injustices we face daily have reached a tipping point,” the petition reads. “Our community is fed up with the perpetual cycle of violence and discrimination that remains unchecked by a justice system that too often turns a blind eye to our plight.

Republican Sen. Ron Johnson is calling for transparency and accountability on COVID-19 vaccine injuries and says he's asking the Trump administration to implement an International Classification of Diseases code for COVID-19 vaccine injuries.
“Trump's [Department of Health and Human Services] has to acknowledge that these injection injuries are real. [snip] Johnson's request follows an investigation of 11 million pages of subpoenaed data on COVID-19 vaccine surveillance data, prompting Senate hearings by the chamber's Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, including one June 3 titled, “Plausible Mechanisms of COVID-19 Injections Causing Cancer and Attacks on Scientific Publications."

We didn't pay enough attention to PIAPS when she said "It Takes A Village".
Watching the Chinese kids performing when Trump visited China a while back was frightening. Same in Nazi Germany
