The San Francisco Giants recently held a “Pride Night,” and during it, players on the team were sporting hats that featured the franchise logo in rainbow colors.
Staying true to their faith in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, numerous San Francisco pitchers wrote verses from the Bible on their caps. (snip)
After three San Francisco Giants pitchers appeared in Friday’s game with Bible verses written on their Pride Night caps, MLB issued a warning that similar behavior will not be tolerated.

After building an ugly, overprice, monstrosity marring the design of a famous Chicago park, anybody surprised to learn that the Obama Presidential Center has failed to pay the help?
Multiple little-guy contractors have told Fox News that they've been stiffed on the payments for their goods and services. According to Fox News:
Concern is mounting that taxpayers could be left holding the bag if the Obama Presidential Center runs into financial trouble, as the foundation behind it has yet to establish a promised $470 million safety net to guard against a public bailout.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton savaged ex-President Joe Biden’s decision to try to run again in 2024 during an event in New York City on Monday night. Clinton joined New Yorker editor in chief David Remnick for a sit-down discussion and weighed in on how the Democrats stumbled and allowed for a situation where President Donald Trump was able to get reelected. “He made a terrible mistake. He made a terrible mistake for himself, his legacy, and for the country. He had said that he would not run again. And counterfactual narratives are always a bit tricky,” Clinton began

Newly revealed details of the secretive US-Iran MOU lay out that it would extend the cease-fire to Lebanon, allow Iran to manage the Strait of Hormuz, temporarily waive Iranian oil sanctions and establish a pathway toward a comprehensive peace agreement, Israel’s Channel 12 reported Tuesday.
The framework, which would serve as the basis for broader negotiations between Washington and Tehran, outlines commitments on nuclear issues, sanctions relief, maritime security and the eventual withdrawal of American forces from the region.

Vice President JD Vance joined ABC News’ “The View” on Tuesday for a tense interview on the Trump administration and his new book, “Communion.”
The Vice President’s book, “Communion,” on his journey from protestant to atheist to Catholic, was released on Tuesday. Vance joined the left-leaning show “The View” to discuss his book, though the hosts used the opportunity to press the vice president on other political topics like the economy, the Epstein Files, and immigration.
The vice president remained calm, refuting their points while the hosts interjected, interrupted, and got increasingly hostile with him

Say what you want about Democrats, but they sure know how to stick to their talking points.
When the IPO for SpaceX made Elon Musk the world’s first trillionaire, Democrats were primed. Almost in unison, they cried about how “Americans are struggling to pay for groceries and gas,” how the economy “is rigged,” and how the rich “don’t pay their fair share of taxes.”
It’s all out of the politics-of-envy handbook. But the latter claim is particularly galling, especially when it’s being made by lawmakers who know better.
Ohio Democratic Rep. Greg Landsman, for example, penned an op-ed complaining about how

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Tennessee told The Tennessee Star on Monday afternoon that Shelby County General Sessions Clerk Tami Sawyer was named in a six-count indictment it described as a “significant public corruption case,” following the release of video showing Sawyer at the federal courthouse in Memphis with her attorney on Monday morning.
According to the indictment, Sawyer is accused of using county procurement and travel systems to steal or misdirect nearly $45,000 between August 2024 and June 2025.
The indictment alleges that Sawyer (pictured above) used three other county employees’ procurement cards,

Former President Barack Obama's $850 million presidential library in Chicago has been plunged into a fresh controversy as contractors say they still haven't been paid just days before its grand opening.
African American Contractors Association president Omar Shareef said seven workers contacted him to complaint about missed payments, Front Page Mag reports.
'It's to the point that they wished they had never done [the project],' Shareef told the outlet. Some subcontractors are missing as much as seven figures in payment, and many are feeling the pressure of keeping their businesses afloat.
The 225-foot tall library dubbed the 'Obamalisk' is also facing backlash from critics who have branded its design 'anti-Christian.' Pastor

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08) does not do a great media job speaking for the Democrats, and he proved that again on Monday during an appearance on Good Day New York.Jeffries tried to buffalo the anchors and the audience by criticizing President Donald Trump over "skyrocketing gas prices."This claim from Jeffries has two problems. First, oil prices have already been coming down because of the peace negotiations with Iran. Second, now that a deal is being signed, the prices are likely to drop even more, as shipping returns to normal.

As I wrote last week, public schools are depopulating on a large scale for a variety of reasons, including a declining birth rate, the fact that many of them don’t offer a worthy product, the advancement of school choice, and others. Colleges are faring even worse for many of the same reasons. In January, Arthur Levine, president of Brandeis University, asserted that 20 percent to 25 percent of colleges will close in the coming years.
Similarly, the Hechinger Report projects that 442 of the nation’s 1,700 private, nonprofit four-year colleges and universities, representing 670,000 students, are at risk of closing or merging over the next 10 years.

So there we were on Sunday, June 7, 2026, some 15,000 strong, gathered at the aging but still respectable Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, located across a parking lot from the gleaming SoFi Stadium where World Cup and Super Bowl matches come to be played. It was a pleasant Southern California afternoon settling into evening as we wandered about the arena, most taking time to shop at one of the numerous souvenir stands or sip ridiculously priced adult beverages from the even more numerous concession stands. It was an assemblage of the familiar, old friends growing older, talking about children growing up, and reminiscing about the days
