After building an ugly, overprice, monstrosity marring the design of a famous Chicago park, anybody surprised to learn that the Obama Presidential Center has failed to pay the help?
Multiple little-guy contractors have told Fox News that they've been stiffed on the payments for their goods and services. According to Fox News:
Concern is mounting that taxpayers could be left holding the bag if the Obama Presidential Center runs into financial trouble, as the foundation behind it has yet to establish a promised $470 million safety net to guard against a public bailout.

0bama and “wife” are probably the most successful grifters in American history, and they keep on grifting.

Or, like Chef on South Park, who came to a bad end, too, after his activity with the Super Adventure Club. (We have a big branch of the Super Adventure Club in downtown Clearwater.) Obama insisted on hiring minority contractors, and he's screwing them royally. No kings!
Now he's failed to establish a $470,000,000 financial safety net that would guard against a public bail out. If the Obama Center can't get their financing worked out, it's time to get out the wrecking ball, clear that lot, haul away the mess, and replant the trees that were sawn down.

Some of those smaller contractors could bankrupt because of this. This mismanaged debacle of a project fits Obama's mismanaged debacle of his presidency.

In any dealings with people like the Obama's you have to get your money0 as you do the work and limit how much you let them slide before demanding payment.
Some call it working with draws. You do so much and demand a draw.

Funny.
I’ve never heard scuttlebutt about the Chief Builder stiffing his contractors in NYC.
And Hazymac, it would take many tonnes of dyn-o-mite to blow up the pseudo Bunker.
Poor Chicago. They bought the farm with this joker.

Why can't he be sued in civil court? I'm serious, I'm not a lawyer, so it's a legitimate question for me.

FTA:
"But the little guy who smooths the cement or does the gardening or catering or windows and floors gets nothing, and as the video report notes, some of these small businesses are going bankrupt for not getting paid."
This behavior should have the legacy media and Democrat politicians up in arms. They threw fits over made-up Trump "scandals" from the Russia Hoax to the January 6th "insurrection." But they have nothing to say about a Democrat foundation failing to pay its own bills. Leaving business owners and workers to face bankruptcy is simply immoral. Put another way, Trump hating media and politicians lied to smear President Trump and his supporters. And here they are today, remaining silent when a real scandal is right before their eyes.

File liens, then file martial closure. Thst gives the debtors the right to close down operations…and potentially sell the building

Now if 0bama had paid those contractors and businesses who worked on the Mordorian Monstrosity, THAT would have been newsworthy. 0bama being 0bama i.e. "0bama First" ~ this should come as a surprise to no one.

Normally, I do not care for graffiti, but in the case of the Obama Center, it would look so much better, if graffiti were added, top to bottom.

Obama built this monstrosity and if history is a guide, the building will prove to be a bio and safety hazard in a short while with flooding, mildew, mold, sewage backups and crumbling cement. But it will probably be the only eyesore in Chicago without graffiti all over it. Come to think of it, graffiti would be an improvement.

Obama is a liberal Democrat politician. He is used to using other people's money and government funds to pay for things. His government printing press is gone and he is facing real life now. I'm sure he has Valerie Jarrett on the case dwindling cash out of someone or figuring out how to get the government to pick up the tab.

So much for the "Man of the People" scam. Obama can sell one of his many houses and pay the people who got up everyday and built that monstrosity.

I would like to know why some of these contractors are not getting paid. Did they inflate their prices or did not do the work they agreed to do? Are they supposed to provide a detailed invoice of work before getting paid and have not done so? Or does Obama feel that working on his library is reward enough? I am old enough to remember that the Clintons stiffed their law firm on legal bills, so this may be business as usual for Dem presidents.

Whatever became of his comment that (paraphrasing) "At some point, you've made enought money"? I guess that doesn't apply to the Obamas. How many houses to they have?
O'ahu, Hawaii
Kalorama, Washington, D.C. (Oh, they just rent!!!)
Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts - a gorgeous 6,892-square-foot house
Kenwood/Hyde Park, Chicago

Well, that monstrosity of a "library" in Jackson Park/Hyde Park could be converted into a jail if the public has to pay for it. I understand that there are few if any windows.

The true definition of irony, imho. Oh well at least the stiffed contractors haven’t ended up like that chef…yet.
