Obama Fails To Pay The Help

Original Article

After building an ugly, overprice, monstrosity marring the design of a famous Chicago park, anybody surprised to learn that the Obama Presidential Center has failed to pay the help? Multiple little-guy contractors have told Fox News that they've been stiffed on the payments for their goods and services. According to Fox News: Concern is mounting that taxpayers could be left holding the bag if the Obama Presidential Center runs into financial trouble, as the foundation behind it has yet to establish a promised $470 million safety net to guard against a public bailout.

Comments:

The true definition of irony, imho. Oh well at least the stiffed contractors haven’t ended up like that chef…yet.

Or, like Chef on South Park, who came to a bad end, too, after his activity with the Super Adventure Club. (We have a big branch of the Super Adventure Club in downtown Clearwater.) Obama insisted on hiring minority contractors, and he's screwing them royally. No kings! Now he's failed to establish a $470,000,000 financial safety net that would guard against a public bail out. If the Obama Center can't get their financing worked out, it's time to get out the wrecking ball, clear that lot, haul away the mess, and replant the trees that were sawn down.

Some of those smaller contractors could bankrupt because of this. This mismanaged debacle of a project fits Obama's mismanaged debacle of his presidency.

In any dealings with people like the Obama's you have to get your money0 as you do the work and limit how much you let them slide before demanding payment. Some call it working with draws. You do so much and demand a draw.

FTA: "But the little guy who smooths the cement or does the gardening or catering or windows and floors gets nothing, and as the video report notes, some of these small businesses are going bankrupt for not getting paid." This behavior should have the legacy media and Democrat politicians up in arms. They threw fits over made-up Trump "scandals" from the Russia Hoax to the January 6th "insurrection." But they have nothing to say about a Democrat foundation failing to pay its own bills. Leaving business owners and workers to face bankruptcy is simply immoral. Put another way, Trump hating media and politicians lied to smear President Trump and his supporters. And here they are today, remaining silent when a real scandal is right before their eyes.

In the LA mayoral race, it was painful to watch all those Nithya Raman ballots coming in after election day in a "statistically impossible" manner. Why, it looked as if the Democrats were counting up after the election how many ballots were needed to oust Republican Spencer Pratt from second place and the runoff. But there is a silver lining. MSM reporters have their talking-point orders to question MAGA politicians -- sometimes at the beginning of the interview and often with a smirk on their face -- about Donald Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign or another prominent race:

The Trump administration has bent over backward to negotiate an end to Iran’s grand plans to develop nuclear weapons—before the June 2025 bombing, afterward, and again during the follow-up diplomacy of spring 2026. Yet Iran is unlikely ever to abandon its pursuit of the bomb voluntarily. With nuclear weapons, Tehran hopes to become the de facto hegemon of the Middle East. Only then could it effectively coerce or deter both Israel and the wealthy Arab Gulf states. And that is the charitable view, one that excludes the possibility of a messianic Shiite theocracy believing that eliminating the “one-bomb” state of Israel would forever ensure the Shiite minority permanent preeminence

The story may have quieted down, but that doesn’t make it any less significant, though I understand that all attention is on Iran right now. Paul Sperry has been investigating Eric Ciaramella, the Trump impeachment whistleblower, about whom we now know more after new documents were revealed in April concerning this circus. Some facts you already knew, like this guy having contact with Adam Schiff before the complaint was filed, that he was a registered Democrat, and so on, but we’ve learned that Intelligence Community IG Michael Atkinson was aware of Ciaramella’s political bias and clearly didn’t care, even claiming that the complaint was free of political shenanigans

The Los Angeles mayoral race provides illuminates Democrat party thinking. There is non-politician, normal American Spencer Pratt running against Communist, Castro-admiring, current Mayor and black woman, Karen Bass, and Indian—the country—woman, and LA Council member, Nithya Raman. The only debate thus far was a self-inflicted disaster for Bass and Raman, and Bass is refusing to debate again. Asked--yes or no—whether illegal aliens should vote, Pratt answered “no,” and Bass and Raman, looking like cockroaches caught in the open when the kitchen lights came on, sputtered versions of: “well, it depends…”

Whenever political violence or incendiary rhetoric hits the news, Democrats are spring-loaded, blurring the facts and insisting that “both sides” are equally to blame. But the truth isn’t nuanced here. For years now, it’s been Democrats and progressives who can’t control their emotions, their rhetoric, or increasingly, their own relationships. Watch the news on any given day, and the pattern is unmistakable: instead of civil discourse, we get rage; instead of argument, we get shrill absolutism—even in the wake of another presidential assassination attempt.

There is something going on at the Obama household, and it looks like Trump Derangement Syndrome to me. It appears that Mr. & Mrs. Obama have the same problem that so many Democrats have, i.e. too much thinking about Trump. There is a story at The Guardian that I had to share with you today. Here it goes: Barack Obama has offered a rare and candid glimpse into his marriage - and it turns out Donald Trump is causing trouble at home. She’ll be up against Republican nominee Gregg Hull in November’s general election. A lot could happen between now and then. But considering the state's political history, there's a good chance Haaland could get elected governor. On the American energy scene, New Mexico is the second-largest producer behind Texas, pumping out 2 million barrels of oil per day. Two counties in south-east New Mexico account for 78% of all onshore federal oil production, according to the American Petroleum Institute. The Land of Enchantment is a key player in the American energy landscape.

Democrats were throwing tantrums on Sunday as the Ultimate Fighting Championship event went down at the White House. UFC Freedom 250 was everything you would expect: loud and brimming over with patriotism, with every fight ending in a knockout, even capped off with some terrific fireworks. Many people then reminded her of what she and her husband did to "our house," and that she would never live there again. Liberals did some counterprogramming, having an event in New York City, "Rise Up, Sing Out: A Concert for the First Amendment."
