Can Spencer Pratt win?

Original Article

The Los Angeles mayoral race provides illuminates Democrat party thinking. There is non-politician, normal American Spencer Pratt running against Communist, Castro-admiring, current Mayor and black woman, Karen Bass, and Indian—the country—woman, and LA Council member, Nithya Raman. The only debate thus far was a self-inflicted disaster for Bass and Raman, and Bass is refusing to debate again. Asked--yes or no—whether illegal aliens should vote, Pratt answered “no,” and Bass and Raman, looking like cockroaches caught in the open when the kitchen lights came on, sputtered versions of: “well, it depends…”

Pratt might have a problem when Bass comes out with her 'Free Teeth' program.

I disagree with this author. I truly believe Spencer Pratt has a decent chance to claim the mayorship. Los Angeles voters have not had such a candidate in decades. There are lots of conservatives still left in the city who have just stopped voting due to only commies being on the ballot. It's been decades since a strong conservative has run for Council or Mayor. Conservatives have never had a good candidate that they "wanted" to support with their vote. His messaging is new, creative and spot on. No candidate has ever been so candid and forthright. Los Angeles elections rarely have even sort of conservatives run. The voters are hearing a new and different message. It's not just the fire victims that are upset. They have family and friends, not to mention others to whom the fire was their wake-up call. Pratt is the first candidate to offer a sane alternative. I pray my hometown has the ability to make Los Angeles Great Again.

The federal government needs to be pro-active for both the mayor's race and the senator's race. Arrest ballot box stuffers. Monitor chain of commands ballots. Check signatures on ballots and registrations. Have ICE located in precincts with a lot of illegal aliens. An honest election will put Pratt over the top.

Poster #3 is hopefully correct, but the red voters have been leaving LA and CA for years. How many are left with any common sense? The Commiecrats have used chaos and mayhem to drive away the opposition. It's the plan.

The story may have quieted down, but that doesn’t make it any less significant, though I understand that all attention is on Iran right now. Paul Sperry has been investigating Eric Ciaramella, the Trump impeachment whistleblower, about whom we now know more after new documents were revealed in April concerning this circus. Some facts you already knew, like this guy having contact with Adam Schiff before the complaint was filed, that he was a registered Democrat, and so on, but we’ve learned that Intelligence Community IG Michael Atkinson was aware of Ciaramella’s political bias and clearly didn’t care, even claiming that the complaint was free of political shenanigans

Emotional incontinence and violence are

Whenever political violence or incendiary rhetoric hits the news, Democrats are spring-loaded, blurring the facts and insisting that “both sides” are equally to blame. But the truth isn’t nuanced here. For years now, it’s been Democrats and progressives who can’t control their emotions, their rhetoric, or increasingly, their own relationships. Watch the news on any given day, and the pattern is unmistakable: instead of civil discourse, we get rage; instead of argument, we get shrill absolutism—even in the wake of another presidential assassination attempt.

I do not like Chief Justice John Roberts. I think his loyalties lie more with defending the entrenched powers of the political Establishment than with defending the Constitution of the United States. I find his jurisprudence squishy. Although his decisions could be described as advancing, more often than not, conservative viewpoints, Roberts does not seem to have a consistent philosophy guiding his opinions.

There is something going on at the Obama household, and it looks like Trump Derangement Syndrome to me. It appears that Mr. & Mrs. Obama have the same problem that so many Democrats have, i.e. too much thinking about Trump. There is a story at The Guardian that I had to share with you today. Here it goes: Barack Obama has offered a rare and candid glimpse into his marriage - and it turns out Donald Trump is causing trouble at home. The former President, 64, admitted in an interview that Michelle wants him to step back from public life so the couple can enjoy their later years together.

For months, I’ve been a bit confused about “affordability,” the latest Democrat meme. Then, early last week, I read a piece about “affordability” and realized: “of course.” Affordability is just the Democrats’ latest excuse for giving out free stuff to their supporters, paid for by you and me. Even though I can’t find the article that I read, I wrote about “affordability” on my Substack. If you look at the Congressional Progressive Caucus “New Affordability Agenda” you realize that Affordability is not just about free stuff, but something else.

J.B. Only long-time, discerning readers of PJ Media will appreciate that the joke was on Pritzker. And, I must say, it's hard to write when you're laughing at him so much. I'll bravely press on, however. Pritzker was interviewed on CNN Monday — that's a day-and-a-half after the crazed leftist TDS-afflicted Democrat would-be killer attacked

Democrat voters would understandably like to be involved in selecting their presidential nominee, and some found themselves frustrated that they didn’t get a chance to do it in 2024. For example, actor Jerry O’Connell visited Bill Maher’s show recently to reveal that his family got angry and physical with him when he suggested the unthinkable in Democrat orthodoxy about the 2024 presidential campaign. “There was no planning,” he told his family, continuing to say that “this [defeat] is what they get. There should have been a primary.” He naively claims that the lack of a primary to allow Democrat voter influence reflects a lack of planning.

Just 18 hours after the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump and high-ranking officials in his administration, Democrat candidate for the California governorship Katie Porter sent out an expletive laced email aimed at Trump. The language used in the email is highly profane, so fair warning. While the expletives are incredibly asinine, the real kicker is the second to last paragraph. “We know what Trump is willing to do and how far he is willing to go — he’s willing to kill people in the streets, to rip healthcare away, to ruthlessly attack our democracy,” the email read.

With now the third serious assassination attempt against President Trump on the books, it is an important juncture to examine the intellectual gleischaltung that encourages American society and global society to view Republican Presidents as the height of all evil. More than Kim Jong Un of North Korea, more than Vladimir Putin of Russia, more than Ayatollah Khomeini of Iran, more than Chairman Xi of China, Republican Presidents are rhetorically imbued with intrinsic evil that requires all available means of persuasion -- including assassination. Since the assassination of Lincoln, the press and academic culture have worked together to create a sense of moral purpose in killing Republican presidents.

Britain’s civilizational collapse bothers me. As much as we Americans enjoy defining ourselves by the whooping our ancestors gave to the Crown, Brits and Yanks share a common language, enjoy similar beliefs, and broadly relate to one another. Rebelling against the British Empire is one thing. Watching foreign peoples conquer what’s left of that empire in another thing altogether. Every day the United Kingdom becomes less united and more likely to collapse upon itself. The U.K.’s media Establishment used popular actor Idris Elba to promote a documentary last year entitled, “Our Knife Crime Crisis.”

Robert Mueller, who died on March 20 at age 81, once stood as a symbol of public integrity. His record was not merely respectable. It was exceptional. He served as director of the FBI for 12 years, having been confirmed by a 98-0 Senate vote, and took office just days before the Sept. 11 attacks. He was a decorated Marine, awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his service in Vietnam. His leadership helped transform the FBI into a counterterrorism-focused agency during one of the most perilous periods in modern American history. By the time he was appointed special counsel in May 2017, Mueller was widely described as beyond reproach.

Axios reported Monday that Warren, one of the most influential figures in the progressive movement, is being courted publicly and privately by Democrats eyeing 2028 presidential bids, a sign potential candidates are trying to strengthen their standing with the party’s far-left flank. Warren lost her White House bid in 2020, but Axios noted she later played a major role in shaping President Joe Biden’s administration by helping place allies in his administration. Her moves have also drawn concern from some centrist Democrats, who worry she has

Once again, the U.S. Senate is on vacation. This group barely works, and when they are in session, they accomplish practically nothing. Since the start of President Donald Trump’s second term, Congress has passed only one major piece of legislation. While the “One Big Beautiful Bill” was a notable accomplishment, it should not have been the only legislative victory for the Republican Congress. During the same period of President Joe Biden’s administration, a Democratic-led Congress passed four major pieces of legislation: the American Rescue Plan, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act, the CHIPS Act, and the Inflation Reduction Act. Of course, these bills harmed our economy, propelled wasteful spending, and funded ludicrous

Canada's prairie provinces, including Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, are in some ways more like the western United States than the rest of Canada. They are more independent, more reliant on agriculture and the energy sector, with lower populations, and with a population more inclined to conservative viewpoints. For some time now, the energy-rich province of Alberta has been making noises about seceding from Canada. Now, it looks like that may come to a vote. The Telegraph's Michael Taube has some thoughts on that.

The Iranian officials authorized to work with the Trump administration have been having a difficult time communicating inside of their own government system — and it's a central reason why the details of a potential deal with Iran and past agreements have been slow to emerge. When the U.S. sends proposed details, the difficulty in reaching the supreme leader means there can be a long delay

Memorial Day exists for one reason: to honor the men and women who died in service to this country. It is a solemn, sacred day, the one day a year we set aside not to celebrate veterans broadly, but to mourn and remember those who gave everything. Apparently, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey had other plans. On Monday, Frey took to X and posted a lengthy, heartfelt tribute — not to a fallen soldier, but to George Floyd, since May 25 is also the sixth anniversary of when Floyd died. Patriotic Americans were visiting cemeteries, laying wreaths, and reflecting on the price of freedom.
