One crew member has been rescued and the search continues for the second pilot after a U.S. F-15 fighter jet was shot down over Iran, according to reports.
The crew member was rescued by US forces, two US officials have told CBS News. Two sources tell CNN that the rescued pilot is alive and receiving medical attention.
Officials say one of the airmen of the F-15E Strike Eagle was ejected before the aircraft went down. U.S. officials are racing to recover the second pilot before Iranian forces can reach them. Israel is helping the United States

The Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS) has released the March employment report [DATA HERE] reflecting gains of 186,000 private sector jobs, with another 8,000 federal government jobs eliminated. Net gain 178,000 jobs.
Forecasters had anticipated around 63,000 net jobs gained: the actual result triples expectations.[BLS Report – Table B]
This is a challenging time to use data to estimate overall employment strength, mainly due to the repatriation efforts underway that are removing illegal alien workers from the labor force.
As deportation efforts continue against the black-market workforce, in combination with targeting efforts toward fraudulent ‘mismatched’ social security records used to gain unlawful -albeit visible- market employment, it becomes challenging to quantify

In a two-week period right after the 2024 election, the most energy expended by the transition team putting a cabinet together was toward Main Justice or the Dept of Justice. As a consequence, those around Lutnick and Wiles spent an incredible amount of time thinking about the Attorney General pick.
Following an insider discussion, I spoke with several people about positions and appointments, focused on pointing out that the transition’s priorities were misplaced. The AG needed to be someone with exceptional moral character, capable of gathering information and presenting it for public consumption, with the option of supporting criminal referrals if necessary.

The birthright citizenship fight is one of the most important battles in front of the Supreme Court. It’s there right now, and yesterday, in a historic move, President Trump became the first president in US history to sit and listen to oral arguments. (snipThen came Justice Alito, and unlike Ketanji Brown Jackson and her emotional fog machine, he brought the argument back to the real issue: allegiance and the actual legal meat of the question. But Alito went a step further, totally nuking the Dems’ entire argument with this one brilliantly played scenario… based in fact.

They stopped their oil and gas exploration. They chose to chase ‘net zero’ academic pontifications. They closed their refining operations. They took apart their coal-fired electricity plants. They disassembled their nuclear power capabilities. Then, the absolute cherry on the proverbial cake, they voted to stop purchasing oil and gas from Russia.
The EU is now in the Find Out stage of their FAFO positioning.
Gasoline prices have skyrocketed. The last shipments of jet fuel have arrived. Major airline carriers are cancelling flights due to lack of fuel. Faster than the EU can organize meetings to discuss their position, EU destined LNG shipments have diverted to southeast Asia and

The American people are already furious that the Senate slithered off into recess without getting the SAVE Act over the finish line, even though requiring proof of citizenship and voter ID is one of the very few issues that actually has bipartisan support across the country. It’s literally one of the few things we can agree on, and our elected officials are like “oh well, too bad for you…unresolved, and the people we sent to DC to do a job vanish the second they need to actually represent us.

And speaking of bums, right on cue, Lindsey Graham was off to Orlando for a delightful vacation at Disneyworld.
Yes. Disney.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio appears on Fox News to discuss the various goals and objectives of the U.S. military operation against Iran. (snip) Secretary Rubio was asked about the strategic conflicts and hypocrisies now flowing from NATO member states.
The U.S. supports our NATO posture in Europe in part because it provides us with strategic military bases and operations that are considered vital to our national interests. However, (snip), when we need to use those strategic bases the NATO member states withdraw previous permissions. F(snip)

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday regulating elections nationwide by establishing a list of voters eligible to vote by mail.
“The cheating on mail-in voting is legendary. It’s horrible what has been going on,” Trump said.
“If you don’t have honest voting, you can’t have, really, a nation.”According to the order—which is expected to spark legal challenges—only American citizens are eligible to vote by mail, with lists verified by the Homeland Security Department, in coordination with the Social Security Administration.
The U.S. Postal Service is ordered to only send ballots to individuals included on the lists, with unique bar codes applied to each envelope—one per voter—to facilitate tracking and audits.

ANGELS CAMP, Calif.—Record-high gold prices hovering at about $5,000 per ounce have triggered a renewed interest in prospecting and mining and what could be the start of a mini gold rush in the California Mother Lode, according to local miners.
The historic belt of gold quartz veins in the Sierra Nevadas spawned the 19th-century gold rush and continues to draw modern prospectors.
The spike in gold prices has made small- and medium-scale mining operations more feasible, said Rusty Simpson, co-CEO of Meeting of the Mines Goldstrike Corp., based in Angels Camp.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's lavish faux-royal tour of Colombia in 2024 was funded by none other than billionaire George Soros, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
The duo spent four days in the South American country at the invitation of Vice President Francia Márquez, who, along with Markle, did not disclose the details about who paid the $3.8million bill from the spend-happy couple, author Tom Bower claims in his new book, Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family.

Just when you think the Senate GOP couldn’t get any more useless than it already is, its members find a way to prove you wrong.
While the SAVE America Act continues to languish, the Department of Homeland Security (including ICE and Border Patrol) remains unfunded, and dozens of Trump nominees await confirmation, Senate Majority Leader John Thune did what any typical Republican would do. He sent the upper chamber home on a two-week vacation.
The entirely predictable scenario came about after Senate Republicans agreed with Democrats to pass a DHS package devoid of ICE and Border Patrol funding

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission on March 26 accused China of detaining Panama-flagged vessels in response to Panama’s termination of Hong Kong-based CK Hutchison’s concessions for two key ports.Panama’s Supreme Court ruled in late January that the concessions held by Panama Ports Company, a unit of CK Hutchison, for the Balboa and Cristobal terminals in the Panama Canal were unconstitutional.
The ruling followed an audit by Panama’s comptroller, which alleged irregularities in the 25-year extension of the concession granted in 2021.
Following the ruling, Panama named U.S. subsidiaries Maersk APM Terminals and Mediterranean Shipping Company’s (MSC) Terminal Investment Limited as interim operators of the ports under 18-month contracts.
