On Thursday, we learned that President Donald Trump fired Pam Bondi as attorney general, making her the second Cabinet member he's axed in less than a month. Trump's official send-off was gracious, but the question remains: Why did he fire her?[snip] According to a report from the Daily Mail, the reason Trump gave Bondi the axe is that he believes Bondi tipped off Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) about the FBI's plans to release documents tied to his decade-old relationship with a suspected Chinese spy.[snip]"The White House wasn't pleased she was intervening due to her personal friendship with Swalwell."

Agree with #1, but, if this is true....good grief.
Will withhold judgement, because it is DM, the sleaze machine

DM got it right about Mr. Noem. Unlike some here, I'm not a Bondi hater. However, a personal friendship with that slimeball should be reason enough for Trump to remove her - or anyone else - from the inner circle.

She should have had every deep state conspirator indicted in the first six months, and what did we get....nothing? Her firing is long overdue.

Face it, and women are going to Trash me...Women, generally are more emotionally grounded than Men.
I have to assume her friendship got the better of her Judgement and she emotionally felt sorry for him and spilled the beans. Anyone with a better explanation?

She got off easy. Friendship with that POS Swalwell should be a capital offense.

Being friends with Swallwell doesn't say much for the judgement of anyone.

We're voting for Jeanine Pirro. She smart. She's competent. She tough as nails. She doesn't suffer fools. And she gets results. She's doing a great job in D.C. as the United States Attorney for the District of Columbia.

I think he should appoint the governor of Florida. Let the Lt Gov cover the next few months and get a loyal supporter who has a tough reputation.

I'd prefer to have an U.S. AG who doesn't care to appear on Fox News each and every day. Sheesh, I said at the time that she was auditioning for a timeslot on the Fox evening lineup, maybe Tucker's old spot?
I liked Matthew Whitaker from the first Trump Administration. He was Deputy AG back then and is Trump's U.S. Ambassador to NATO currently. Frankly, I'm not sure why Trump didn't nominate him this time around, except for two things, A) Gender and B) Zero blond hair. /s

Anyone who is friendly with Swalwell is without doubt GUILTY OF T R E A S O N! Bondi requires a firing Squad! or maybe Madame Guillotine!

Trump hates disloyalty, so there could be truth in this.
Also, Trump wants his enemies brought before him in chains, and Pam has yet to do that.
Throw in the fact that the Dems have flooded the judiciary with their judges, while Thune plays RINO politics, and you have an environment where any DA would be hard pressed to succeed.

Possible, but her ineffectiveness comes from the NSA and NSI not releasing information. That is a snarled ball of yarn that will not unravel easily

Watch for Justice Barbie to pop up on some evening talking heads show; maybe the View. She could be the voice of reason----it wouldn't take much.

Does not matter. Just be glad she is gone. She was all show and no go. Still waiting for an AG from the right that works as hard at the job as the rats do when thy are destroying the country.
