DM got it right about Mr. Noem. Unlike some here, I'm not a Bondi hater. However, a personal friendship with that slimeball should be reason enough for Trump to remove her - or anyone else - from the inner circle.

I'd prefer to have an U.S. AG who doesn't care to appear on Fox News each and every day. Sheesh, I said at the time that she was auditioning for a timeslot on the Fox evening lineup, maybe Tucker's old spot? I liked Matthew Whitaker from the first Trump Administration. He was Deputy AG back then and is Trump's U.S. Ambassador to NATO currently. Frankly, I'm not sure why Trump didn't nominate him this time around, except for two things, A) Gender and B) Zero blond hair. /s

Trump hates disloyalty, so there could be truth in this. Also, Trump wants his enemies brought before him in chains, and Pam has yet to do that. Throw in the fact that the Dems have flooded the judiciary with their judges, while Thune plays RINO politics, and you have an environment where any DA would be hard pressed to succeed.

DENVER — The Colorado Appeals Court issued a decision Thursday morning that threw out the current prison sentence of Tina Peters, but affirmed her conviction on several felony charges.[snip] The state appeals court heard arguments in the case in January. They issued their decision Thursday morning and said that her sentence should be set aside because it was based, in part, on improper consideration of her right to exercise free speech. Her case will be sent back to the trial court for resentencing. With no changes to her original sentence, Peters would have been parole eligible in early 2028.

Are congressional Republicans absolutely determined to forfeit this November’s midterm elections? It sure looks that way. The GOP would hardly be acting any differently if it were secretly run by its enemies. The election-security provisions of the SAVE Act enjoy overwhelming popular support. According to CBS/YouGov polling, requiring photo ID to vote is literally an 80-20 issue, commanding the support of four out of five voters. Yet the Republican Senate, with a 53-47 majority, is struggling to pass the law. Yes, the filibuster gives Chuck Schumer a powerful weapon to use against the GOP, but there are ways around that – ways the GOP chooses not to take.

The joint American-Israeli military operation against the Iranian regime is now three weeks old, but there is another war — a more silent one — raging here on the home front. President Donald Trump's second administration is facing a highly coordinated shadow war — one waged both by some influential outside voices on the Right and, more dangerously, by their subversive allies within Trump's very own government. If this campaign is not confronted and decisively defeated, the result will be calamitous: a second Trump term that drifts into lame-duck status not due to a voter backlash but because of an insurrection from within.
