The Shadow War Against President Trump

Original Article

The joint American-Israeli military operation against the Iranian regime is now three weeks old, but there is another war — a more silent one — raging here on the home front. President Donald Trump's second administration is facing a highly coordinated shadow war — one waged both by some influential outside voices on the Right and, more dangerously, by their subversive allies within Trump's very own government. If this campaign is not confronted and decisively defeated, the result will be calamitous: a second Trump term that drifts into lame-duck status not due to a voter backlash but because of an insurrection from within.

Much innuendo, insinuation, and low on facts. That doesn't mean I totally disagree. We're into the second year and creeping quickly toward the midterms, and President Trump needs to open his eyes and look around him. I don't know enough about Gabbard. I had the impression she was doing some good work, if not ... Another key position is Bondi. She has had time enough to show her commitment - she doesn't have any. She hasn't cleaned house, which I thought was to be a day one matter- didn't happen. She bailed out Comey, that was a cheesy gambit - didn't properly appoint the prosecutor, she's the head AG of the whole country, and she can't get that right? - yeah, right. That public scam she pulled with the beautifully decorated Epstein file notebooks, the outright lies about having the files on her desk ready to release - just lies, I don't care about Epstein, I care about our AG making an ass of herself, and thereby tainting our president. She couldn't put together a case against the Tish, the multiple mortgage defrauder; she 'had Obama in her sights,' sure. She's been shooting blanks the whole time. It's a critical position; fill it with an action hero, and send Patel with her; the guy can put together a case, nothing but endless investigations. President Trump has had Steve Miller in the warm-up box pretty much this whole time. What a waste of talent. I'd like to see a serious shake-up in the next thirty to forty-five days, like chumming the waters. Feed the voters something that shows he means business and things are going to get better. This isn't hard to do. Take the key position, look at the score sheets - how many kept their promises, how many achieved what they said they were going to do, and let the number provide the answers.

It is not a shadow war. They very blatantly and loudly want the US to lose so Trump loses. They do not care at all about this country.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that the career government employees want to keep the status quo, regardless of the state of the union. The fought Trump during his first term and will continue the fight during his second term.

A federal judge on Friday ruled that the Pentagon’s new press policy restricting press credential of reporters is unconstitutional. In October, Pentagon reporters turned in their badges after they refused to sign Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s new security rule. “Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth demanded that reporters agree by 5 p.m. Tuesday to a new policy, under which they would need to pledge to not obtain or use any unauthorized material, even if the information is unclassified — or hand over their press badges in the next 24 hours,”[snip]By that afternoon, Pentagon reporters turned in their badges.

There is something extraordinary about how a young woman, born and raised in the United States, can become a voice for people she has never met in a country she has never seen, thousands of miles away. But for Iran’s Princess Noor Pahlavi, daughter of the exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi and granddaughter of the former shah, Mohammad Reza, that is the situation she finds herself in. As the Islamic Republic regime of Iran faces daily strikes and military pressure from the US and Israel, and with its leadership decimated, many are looking to the day the regime falls.

Sunday night’s Oscars only racked up 17.86 million viewers on ABC and Hulu combined.[snip] the first All-American Halftime Show, featuring artists such as Kid Rock and Lee Brice, garnered 25 million views across YouTube and Rumble. TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet noted shortly after the rival Super Bowl show wrapped that there were “a lot of large groups watching together, so the number of viewers is likely far higher.”

One thing the Iran War has demonstrated is that the overwhelming majority of journalists and commentators on the war are blindingly ignorant of the basics of military operations, they are unacquainted with the staff process, and they are so eaten alive by the all-devouring TDS virus that they have lost the ability to reason when Trump is involved. The purpose of this post is not to declare victory, but to demonstrate that President Trump is leading a top-shelf strategic team put together by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. He is getting good advice, he's listening, and he's making good decisions.

The mail may soon stop — and not because it’s lost in transit. The cash-strapped United States Postal Service is barreling toward a financial cliff, with Postmaster General David Steiner warning lawmakers the agency could run dry by October — and potentially halt mail delivery altogether by 2027 if Congress doesn’t step in. “At our current rate, we’ll be out of cash in less than 12 months,” Steiner told the House Oversight Subcommittee on Government Operations on March 17. “So in about a year from now, the Postal Service would be unable to deliver the mail.” Translation: no stamps, no service. The grim forecast comes as the USPS continues its long-running losing streak.

In politics, it is often the people who you think have your back who end up stabbing you there. Nobody knows that better than Donald Trump, who has been stabbed in the back more times than Julius Caesar — yet has still survived. This week, part of the noisy right-wing online podcast-sphere again turned on the president. Leading the virtual charge, again, was Trump’s one-time cheerleader, Tucker Carlson. There was a time when Carlson was fully Team Trump. Carlson often appeared at Trump rallies as part of the warmup act. But in the past year, he has tried to lead the MAGA base away from Trump and down a very dark path.
