No, you didn’t read that headline wrong. The Austrian President has officially gone off the rails.
This guy just gave us a glimpse into how the messed up globalist mind works when it finally stops pretending to be sane. Globalist leaders spent years flooding Europe with failed “refugees welcome” policies that have destroyed communities, crushed national identity, erased traditions, and helped turn once-safe countries into places filled with soaring violent crime. And the far-left leaders behind this madness still haven’t learned a single thing. In fact, they’ve actually become more unhinged, arrogant, and totally absurd. Which brings us to the latest gem from Europe’s ruling class.

Migration advocates claim that “millions” of U.S.-born children, youths, and adults could have their citizenship cancelled if the Supreme Court allows President Donald Trump’s Executive Order barring citizenship for the new children of illegal migrants to stand. Thousands of American babies [born after January 20, 2025] will immediately lose their citizenship,” ACLU Legal Director Cecillia Wang told the nine justices on Wednesday morning. “And if you credit the government’s theory, the citizenship of millions of Americans past, present … could be called into question.”

On Thursday, we learned that President Donald Trump fired Pam Bondi as attorney general, making her the second Cabinet member he's axed in less than a month. Trump's official send-off was gracious, but the question remains: Why did he fire her?[snip] According to a report from the Daily Mail, the reason Trump gave Bondi the axe is that he believes Bondi tipped off Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.) about the FBI's plans to release documents tied to his decade-old relationship with a suspected Chinese spy.[snip]"The White House wasn't pleased she was intervening due to her personal friendship with Swalwell."

federal judge has ruled that the Trump administration unlawfully pulled the plug on nearly a million asylum-seekers who were temporarily allowed to live in the U.S. thanks to the Biden-era CBP One app.
Fox News reports that the app was used by then-President Joe Biden’s administration beginning in 2023 to allow migrants to schedule appointments with immigration officials with many of the migrants being paroled into the U.S. for up to two years.
On Tuesday, U.S. District Court Judge Allison Burroughs invalidated the Trump administration’s decision to end the immigration parole status of migrants who entered the country under the Biden-era CBP Home policy. In her ruling, Burroughs wrote,

President Donald Trump on Wednesday night delivered an address to the nation that achieved the legacy media headlines he needed to be displayed for the American people and made an unequivocal America-first declaration that the issues surrounding the Strait of Hormuz are not America's problem.
"We produce more oil and gas than Saudi Arabia and Russia combined," Trump said in a prime-time White House address. "And we're in great shape for the future. The U.S. imports almost no oil through the Hormuz Strait and won't be taking any in the future. We don't need it."

Wednesday on the “Politicon” podcast Democratic strategist James Carville predicted President Donald Trump will get impeached in 2027.
Carville said, “You know who’s gonna turn on you? What’s left of the Republican senators. There may be 43 to 45 of them left. Now the House is gonna vote to impeach you. You’re gonna be impeached in 2027. These senators can’t stand you. These Republican senators, they can’t stand you. They have to be there because of their politics, back in their states, but it’s gonna be apparent to them that you’re a loser. You’re a losing * bet. You’re going to see all this come around

Major automakers unveiled new electric vehicles at the New York Auto Show on Wednesday, despite lagging consumer demand and a sharp downturn in sales after Washington eliminated a $7,500 EV tax credit.
Kia said it would begin selling its lower-priced EV3 in the United States later this year, while Subaru offered a new three-row EV named the “Getaway” that can seat seven.
The Japanese automaker’s family EV SUV will go on sale later this year or next year, its fourth EV model in the US market. Automakers are facing a tougher US EV market but higher gasoline prices in recent weeks have spurred fresh interest.

President Trump has said he is strongly considering pulling out of Nato, prompting Keir Starmer to announce a fresh move towards closer ties with Europe and the unwinding of Brexit. The Mail has more.
Keir Starmer signalled a fresh push to unwind Brexit today as Donald Trump ramped up his abuse of Britain.
The President said the UK “doesn’t even have a navy” as he accused Keir Starmer of only caring about building “windmills”.
He also dismissed Nato as a “paper tiger” and said America leaving the military alliance was now “beyond reconsideration”.
But at a Downing Street press conference, Sir Keir swiped that Iran is “not our war”

Should California codify Islamic religious observances into state-recognized holidays in the United States?
As a nation, the essence of who we are as a People is rooted in our Judeo-Christian values and principles, dating back to the Magna Carta. This shared moral vocabulary has shaped Western thinking since America’s founding. Why, then, would any State in the Union formally endorse or incorporate into our educational and other public institutions a religious doctrine with practices antithetical to the belief system?
AB 2017, introduced by Progressive Democrats Assemblyman Matt Haney and Senator Aisha Wahab, proposes adding Eid al-Fitr (Festival of Breaking the Fast) and Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice) to California’s recognized holidays.

Michael Goodwin, writing at the New York Post, made a claim remarkable for its simple clarity: “The Democratic Party We Once Knew Is Dead.” You and I can readily agree with Goodwin, but the party is certainly not dead and gone. What has it become?
Victor Davis Hanson provides the answer:
There is no Democratic Party. There’s a Socialist Party. But it’s a very weird Socialist Party. It’s a ... [pyramid] with a lot of very wealthy, globalized elites that run things at the top. Nothing in the middle of the pyramid. And then an expansive big base of poor people, of immigrants.
The Democrats, Hanson explains, no longer champion their

A Colorado court of appeals on Thursday overturned the nine-year sentence handed down to Tina Peters, the Mesa County clerk who was found guilty of election tampering after she granted an unauthorized man access into the county’s election system in an effort to find proof of fraud in the 2020 presidential election.
While the three-judge panel upheld Peters’s conviction, it overturned her nine-year sentence because it was “based in part on improper consideration of her exercise of her right to free speech.”
The panel found the judge who sentenced Peters violated her rights
