Europeans and Pravda Media are trying to convince you that Donald Trump has abandoned a century-long commitment to the security of Europe (if you include our intervention in World War I), and our 3/4 century commitment to NATO. As I argued yesterday, that is a serious misreading of Trump's and his administration's criticism of European policies. As his National Security Strategy makes clear, the United States wants to help Europe recover its strength and civilizational vitality, and is unwilling to enable its suicide. New CBS News chief Bari Weiss, whose center-left ideology is too far to the right for many of her employees, has done it again by naming a "mediocre straight white man" to anchor the division's flagship CBS Evening News.
A report late Tuesday in the UK Independent claims that "many staffers at CBS News are not thrilled" with Weiss picking CBS Mornings host Tony Dokoupil to sit in the anchor chair. “It’s an insult to the storied news giants who came before him,” one CBS News reporter told the paper.

The new Washington Post editorial board continues to be a surprise. I suspect they have posted more right-leaning material in the past 3 months than was published in the paper during Biden's entire term in office.

An electric school bus burst into flames in Los Angeles on Wednesday morning, prompting a massive emergency response and shutting down a stretch of the 210 Freeway in Sylmar, authorities said.
The fire was reported around 9:20 a.m. at 11460 W. Foothill Blvd., directly under the 210 Freeway overpass in the San Fernando Valley, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. Sky5 was over the scene as heavy flames and thick black smoke poured from the fully involved bus.
