Are Dems Out Of Options To Stop Trump?

Two impeachments, 88 felony counts (with guilty verdicts on 34 of them), a massive fine, two assassination attempts, unrelentingly hostile media coverage, a last-minute candidate switcheroo, and Donald Trump is still showing signs that he will win the election in two weeks. So, what do Democrats still have up their sleeve to stop Trump? They must have something. Back in May, we asked what the Democrats’ Plan B was if their lawfare campaign against Trump failed, and offered five options – four of which have come to pass. Here is what we said then.

Our government depends on the consent of the governed. What happens if the cheating is so blatant that the DemonRats lose that consent? I think it would be time to dust off the Declaration of Independence and start over.

Everything they do boomerangs. If they had not cheated in 2020 Trump would now be on the way out, their coalition would be intact, and the USA would be deeply asleep and unaware of all the treason. If they had not shot at him in Butler, we would not have begun to dream of full-on heroes, a cabinet-full of them. Musk would not have joined, I doubt RFK would have joined, and how many tens of thousands others. If they had not propped up Kamala via their snake media, they would have seen their problem sooner - as is, it is a drip drip drip with no one to blame but their favorite. If they were wise they would stop but they are not wise.

We'll see. The dims haven't played their ace of spades yet. FTA - "“There have been so many hints in recent weeks from everybody from John Kerry to Hillary Clinton to AOC,” Taibbi said, “that leads me to think that … they’re preparing, uh, you know, some kind of a lockdown. So it may be something like that.”" This could be code for a massive terrorist attack here that results in a shelter at home order and the election being called off. As you know, biden the cheater's team has already been warning of such an attack. Oh, to be a fly on the wall in Obie's DC office.

They are like the arsonist who stands in the crowd to watch his work. With a book of matches in one hand and a can of gasoline in the other asking "what happened"? Still plenty of time left to try and kill him again. If not lots of time for fake ballots to be printed. They cheat and they are good at it as a whole lot of people in the judicial system look the other way. There is more than one way to skin a cat and lots more ways to cheat. They will try and try again. And deny it all. Vote people.

They have also tried Covid. If Trump is ahead, more votes will be discovered, the vote count going on for weeks, then the election decided in the courts. We are at elections decided by courts, ball games decided by the referees. If Trump eventually is sworn in, he will be impeached again, every action sabotaged, infectious diseases spread at the WH. There is nothing the Democrats will not do, and there is no outrage the Republican leadership will punish.

An option they don't mention, which I personally worry about: A military coup to block Trump taking office. It will be dressed up as something else, some supposedly legitimate save-democracy garbage, but it would be a coup. It has been axiomatic for my adult lifetime that whatever misdeeds the Democrats accuse their opponents of is precisely what they themselves are doing. An insurrection is no different.

Ballot stuffing is the last non-kinetic option left open to them. Tabulation centers (about 20 of them in key precincts in battleground states) determined the outcome of the 2020 election. Expect more of the same + the lawsuits. The trick this time is to covince the electorate that the margin of fraud is plausible. Harder to pull off in 2024 because of the forensics done based on the evidence since then and the optics of a lousy ticket (Harris/Walz). But they are doing it again as we speak.

A little more than a year ago, a New York Times headline proclaimed what so many have said is absolutely, undeniably so: “The Clean Energy Future Is Arriving Faster Than You Think.” Despite the story’s examples that were supposed to buttress the claims, reality tells a different story. A recent analysis by Bloomberg found that “the fast money on Wall Street has taken a close look at key sectors in the green economy and decided to bet against them.” “Despite vast green stimulus packages in the U.S., Europe, and China, more hedge funds are on average net short batteries, solar, electric vehicles, and hydrogen than are long those sectors;

As Election Day looms and polls tighten up, a solid majority of Americans remain unhappy with the Democratic Party’s machinations to remove President Joe Biden as its candidate and replace him with Vice President Kamala Harris. And it’s not strictly partisan. Many Democrats are also upset at how the party switched candidates, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows. As Harris continues to struggle, the national online I&I/TIPP Poll of 1,240 registered voters indicates lingering widespread disappointment with the Democratic Party’s maneuvers to get rid of the age-impaired Biden last July. The poll asked voters whether they agreed or disagreed

Go to Kamala Harris’ campaign website and among the very short list of alleged achievements is this: “She cast the deciding vote to lower drug prices and cap insulin prices for our seniors.” The only problem is that drug costs for seniors have skyrocketed since Harris signed that bill. Harris is pointing to the criminally misnamed “Inflation Reduction Act,” which got zero Republican votes, and which was supposed to lower the cost of prescription drugs by giving, as Harris puts it, “Medicare the power to negotiate lower drug prices with Big Pharma.”

Eight years ago, the mainstream media told us in no uncertain terms that noncitizens don’t vote in American elections. “There is no evidence,” they said. The likely number “is zero.” They were provably wrong then – there’d been multiple accounts of noncitizens who’d registered and voted in elections. In the years since, the evidence of this problem has piled up higher. But the media are still at it. It’s “extremely rare,” they say. It never “affects the outcome of a race.” Republicans are looking to “blame illegals” if Donald Trump loses, etc. Here’s one example of the disconnect. An audit of Texas

Among the crucial independent voters, the margin is even greater – 49% to 36%. That’s not all. More trust Harris to bring about energy independence, 48%-47%. Every candidate drools for the proverbial “defining moment” that leaves such an indelible impression that the rest of a debate or oration is rendered an afterthought. Sometimes, however, a line, a quip, or even an aura goes beyond simply defining to truly shining – rising to the level of political lore and perhaps turning an entire campaign. Ronald Reagan, of course, was the world champion in the category: [snip] If one John David Vance was not elevated to that dimension in Tuesday night’s debate against Democratic VP hopeful Tim Walz, he came darn close – by flipping the script in five respects:

If conservatives want to win elections, they don’t need to rile up the base, they need to convince independents to say in public what they believe in private – that they agree with conservatives on most issues and that Democrats are the wildly out-of-touch extremists. That, at least, is one way to read a fascinating new survey from Populace, a non-partisan think tank in Massachusetts, which figured out a way to discern what 20,000 Americans think privately and compare that to what they are willing to say publicly. It turns out that there are often wide gaps between the two, which Populace calls the “Social Pressure Index.”
